We all dream, even though the vast majority of us don’t remember practically everything we dreamt about in the first place! You know the feeling, right when you wake up it’s all so vivid and real but half an hour passes by and suddenly you can’t recall any details.

The things we do remember dreaming about tend to really make an impression on our minds and stick with us. It often seems like the events or conversations really happened and genuinely affected our thoughts and feelings. Furthermore, many of the dreams we have and remember are actually quite common with lots of other people reporting that they too have experienced them. Over the years the most universal dreams have been thoroughly examined and their meanings interpreted and broken. If you’ve ever had one or more of the following types of dreams, here’s what they mean:

1. Teeth Falling Out
Losing your teeth signifies a lack of confidence. You have recently experienced some type of traumatic event in your life that has seriously and negatively affected your confidence. Teeth are symbols of strength, power, and authority. When we lack them or they fall out it means we’ve lost those attributes and our confidence.

2. Flying
Flying signifies freedom. You have finally disentangled yourself from some situation, person, relationship, or anything else that may have been weighing heavily on your life and mind recently. While experiencing weightless flight in a dream is symbolic of this liberation, at the same time it may also be a sign that you’re not in control of something in your life.

3. Test Taking
Being unprepared for an exam signifies self-evaluation. You are essentially examining and critiquing yourself. Sometimes what the test is about will tell you what part of your life you’re evaluating, but oftentimes you’re reflecting more generally on it all.

4. Falling
Falling signifies the fear of letting go. You have been desperately holding on way too tightly to something in your life that is simply not good for you. Whether it’s a person, a feeling, or a situation, you need to stop grasping for it and let go. Your subconscious realizes this before your conscious mind does, and this type of dream is it sending you the message.

5. Death
Dying signifies finality and the end of something. You likely harbor a deep desire to make a dramatic change in your life. It may be finding a new job, switching careers, dumping or divorcing your partner, and so on. By ending one thing you are then able to move on and start something new.

6. Chased
Being pursued and chased after signifies avoidance. You are not facing the problems and issues that demand your attention in real life. Because you have been avoiding them, they are now chasing you in your dreams. Sometimes the person chasing you is symbolic of the problems you need to deal with as well. Overall, this is the number one most commonly reported type of dream that people experience. It’s highly memorable, vivid, and oftentimes it’s so life-like that we wake up deeply shaken and affected by it. Face your problems and they nightmare will go away.

This Tahitian Woman Walks Onto The Floor. But When The Music Starts I’m Blown Away!

Watching a talented dancer perform is  electrifying, when it is a dance form that is particular to a culture, that we are unaccustomed to witnessing.  It not only entertains, but invites us into a particular ritual that represents an aspect of  that culture, which has existed for centuries.

In the video you are about to watch below, you are about to view a beautiful Tahitian dancer, Melanie Amen, perform the traditional dance for women known as  the “Hura”.  Much of the movement of this dance occurs in the hip area in ways that seem incomprehensible;  Melanie is one of the world’s outstanding dancers of this art form.

Surprisingly, this 19-year-old pro at this Tahitian dance, is actually from Stockton, California.  She began dancing as a tiny toddler and was competing in this dance form by the age of five!  Traveling to compete against native Tahitians, she beat over a dozen finalists in 2016, at the Ori Tahiti Nui World Dance Championship in Tahiti!  The footage you are about to watch will show you why this young woman is such a star; this competition occurred in California, where once again she took FIRST PLACE!  Watching her is awe-inspiring…it is hard to believe that the human body is capable of such intricate and exotic movement.

Adorable Baby Poops Her Pants. Now Watch The Dog’s Face When He Realizes.

Nothing is sweeter than the sight of a newborn baby cuddling up to their best animal friend in the world. It shows that the two get along well and are comfortable in each others company, which is important if they’re going to be living together for the rest of their lives.

Judging by the pair in this video, they are more than accustomed to one another. The black and white dog named Max was napping peacefully on a chair next to his sister, baby Hollis, when their mother decided to record the adorable moment. The opportunity to capture her fur baby and her newborn baby together was picture perfect, at least for a couple of seconds!

Just as she starts recording, mom notices that baby Hollis appears to have to go poo-poo. You can hear her in the background urging the youngster on as she reaches over and pets Max. Suddenly, the baby manages to get it all out and the fart she rips along with it startles sleepy Max. He wakes up, looks over at his baby sister, takes one whiff and then immediately leaps off the chair and runs away!

Poor Max! He definitely didn’t want to stick around the stinky smell and needed some fresh air right away. His reaction is priceless, it’ll make you smile, so check out the video and if you wish to brighten someone’s day just share this adorable clip with them!

The 9 Most Common Dream Symbols You Should Pay Close Attention To. Don’t Ignore These Dreams.

Dreaming is something that we all do each night, for 90 minutes to 2 hours; scientifically it is known as REM sleep.  Whether we remember our dreams or not, we all have them.  Freud brought dream interpretation to the fore, and saw it as a window into the unconscious.  While his interpretations may not be held as doctrine by modern psychology, the fascination with common themes in dreams and what they mean, persists today.

The appearance of certain actions or things in our dreams are commonly found in many people.  While each individual who remembers their dreams need to examine them through the lens of their particular conscious life, these SYMBOLS can act as a guide for self-examination of issues you need to pay attention to.

THESE ARE 9 COMMON DREAM SYMBOLS THAT SHOULD NOT BE IGNORED:

1. TEETH FALLING OUT

If you have ever had this dream, you are not alone.  In the dream you feel your teeth loosen, and usually feel horrified as they fall into your hand, as you try to save them.  LOSS OF TEETH while dreaming usually represents a LOSS of CONFIDENCE, CONTROL or POWER somewhere in one’s life.  It can be occurring in a relationship at work or in one’s personal life.  The dream signifies your anxiety about this development, and bears looking at, to help resolve the issue when you are conscious.

2. FALLING

This again is indicative of a loss of control in one’s waking life; in this circumstance it can be showing a fear of loss.  Examining whether it is something or someone that you fear losing, when you are awake, may help you to resolve the issue.

3. WEARING NO CLOTHES IN PUBLIC

This generally is pointing you to examination of a lack of confidence, or a fear of being exposed in one’s life.  Are you being yourself in your interactions with others, or are you people-pleasing to fit in?  Are you lying and feeling anxious that the truth will come out?  Only you being truly honest with yourself, when you awake from such a dream, will reveal what aspect of your life you are afraid will be UNMASKED.

4. FLYING

Flying in a dream can be a truly exhilarating experience.  If you are soaring up high it can denote a feeling of freedom…perhaps you are feeling liberated from something that has plagued you.  If you are flying lower to the ground, perhaps nearly missing obstacles like cars, or wires, or other people, this can be more troubling.  Are things getting in your way in your life, that are frustrating or upsetting, that you want to resolve?

5. DEATH

While dreaming about death can be upsetting, it strangely may be symbolic of positive endings in your waking life.  Perhaps you have moved on from a situation or person that was having a negative impact. It generally is symbolic of change, which is a part of life that is ongoing, and some of us have more difficulty being in transition than others.

6. HOUSES

This commonly appears in dreams, and is an overall representation of the SELF.  Is it a house from our past or present? Is it intact or is it falling apart from a flood or fire?  Are there animals in the house making you feel in danger?  What goes on in a dream about a house indicates how generally secure or insecure you are feeling.

7. BEING CHASED

The common dream experience where you are being chased and you either can’t move very quickly, or seem to not being moving at all as you try to run, is a common ANXIETY dream.  Looking at what you are running away from in your waking life, and facing it, will help to relieve this anxiety.

8. MISSING AN EXAM

This common anxiety dream represents a fear of being unprepared.  Perhaps you are procrastinating about certain things in your life; this dream may be alerting you that ignoring or putting things off are causing you unwanted stress.

9. WATER

Last but not least is the symbol of water that commonly appears in our dreams.  What is important in analyzing what it is telling you, is the form it comes in.  Water is the ultimate expression of the unconscious mind expressing your true emotions.  Is it a giant wave coming at you that will suck you under?  Is it a calm relaxing pool or lake?  Is it a waterfall that gently cleanses you, or a torrent of water where you feel like you are drowning?  Looking at how water comes to you in your dream, is a generalized indicator of the degree of ease or uncomfortability in your life.

As you can see, there is a lot to be learned by trying to remember and interpreting our dreams, so that we can make changes or adjustments that will lead to a more peaceful life.

All this being said, there has been a lot of scientific research around sleep and dreams.  Recently, there have been some extraordinary breakthroughs, done by a team at the ATR Computational Neuroscience  Laboratory in Japan.  We watch our dreams, just as we watch things in our waking life; this research that revealed scans that can actually re-form an object a person sees while awake, could lead to identification of visual imagery occurring in our dreams. Eventually we may be able, according to these researchers, to watch our dreams the way we watch waking events!

Let us know which of the above dream symbols have occurred in YOUR DREAMS, and what they have meant to you.

What Does The Length Of Your Thumb Reveal About Your Love Relationships? Find Out.

There are many different ways in which an individual’s personality has been linked to certain physical parts of the human body. The one attribute that stands out above the rest seems to be our hands. They often hold the most information about our lives and can reveal subtle clues in regards to many things, such as the way we act, make choices, and behave in general.

One good, and very simple, example is that we often compare and contrast left handed people with individuals who are right hand dominant. Those who are left handed are seen as better artists and become angry and scared easier than their right handed counterparts. Alternatively, in palmistry the lines on the palms of hands are closely examined, which can indicate our character traits, personality, and destiny in life.

Another way in which we can analyze our personalities is by looking at the thumb. By determining the ratio of the first and second half of the thumb finger you can figure out how you are likely to behave in love relationships.

All you need to do is look closely at your thumb and then compare it against choices A, B, and C to see which one your finger matches up the best with. Once you choose the closest match it will reveal certain personality aspects that are commonly associated with your finger type in terms of how you act and react in your intimate relationships.

If you fall under type A the top half of your thumb is longer than the bottom portion. This corresponds to having a faithful, passionate, and borderline obsessive approach to your partner when you fall in love. You are open and honest and expect the same in return.

However, you also tend to disregard other important parts of your life, like work and school, and instead focus all of your attention on your lover. This can lead to them perceiving you as overbearing and needy, and may eventually scare them away.

If the top and bottom portions of your thumb are equal in length, then you’re a Type B. You have an objective approach to relationships and prefer to move deliberately and slowly, rather than rushing into things emotionally. You are almost always cool, calm, and steady in both life and your relationships. However, this can lead to uncertainty in your relationships, as your partner may have trouble reading your emotions and feelings.

If the bottom half of your thumb is larger than the top half, you’re a type C. You like to observe and listen to the world around you and when it comes to trust you are very reliable, but other people have to earn yours. You hold back a lot of emotion and feelings, preferring instead to think things through, so you don’t overreact or rush into a relationship. This can lead to many missed chances and connections, since the people you may like or love end up finding out about too late or not at all.

Take a moment to look at your thumb, follow the chart, and find out if what you think describes your relationship personality matches up with your thumb-type description. All in all, this is a neat, fun, and different way to take a moment to yourself in which you can reflect upon, and dig a little deeper into, what makes you who you are. As always, have fun and enjoy!

DIY: How To Make a Stunning Watermlon Grill With Fruit Kebabs For Your Next BBQ!

sdfdf321313123She Knows

Summertime is when lots of fruits and veggies are at peak ripeness, especially berries and melons. It’s also a time when people eat fresher and tend to favor lighter fare over hot and heavy dishes. One warm weather favored food that tastes delicious and is easy to make is the fruit salad. No picnic or party is complete without one and the yummy salads can be custom made to fit anyone’s taste preferences.

Most people simply cut up a bunch of different fruits and combine them into a large bowl. However, there is a more creative way to present a fruit salad that is perfect for entertaining or when you want to make an eye catching and fun display. It may even draw in children and picky eaters, and get them to eat the salad or try different fruits. The trick is to make a ‘watermelon grill’ that both holds and displays the salad while bringing the dish to a whole new level. It’s fun, neat, and screams summer.

Learn how to construct your own edible watermelon grill by watching the video from YouTube channel SheKnows How To. Start off by cutting 3 holes into the watermelon. Lay the melon on it’s side horizontally and cut off the top one-third section from one end. Scoop out the flesh from inside with a melon baller and place it in a bowl off to the side. Once it’s mostly empty and hollow you can take several wooden skewer sticks and poke them through the top part of the rind, where you sliced it open, to make the grate part of the grill. Make sure that both ends of the skewers go completely through each side of the rind, then trim off any sharp ends that may be poking out the side. Prepare three thick and sturdy stalks of celery which are going to be the grill legs that support and hold up the melon. Cut them in even lengths and poke them into the three holes you created in step one. Now all you have to do is fill up the hollowed melon grill with a fruit salad mix and lay some fruit kebabs across the skewer grate on top, serve, and enjoy!

He Couldn’t Focus With Cats Taking Over His Work Space. His Solution? Brilliant!

Screen Shot 2jkkj015-07-02 at 1.40.16 PM

The old saying “curiosity killed the cat” can be modified into “a cat’s curiosity killed people’s production levels,” for humans trying to get work done around them. Our four legged furry feline friends love nothing more than to stick their pink little noses into everything they come across. Many feel the urge to inspect whatever new object or nook and cranny that catches their fancy. A lot of the time cats want to be right by the side of their human companion, no matter what they may be doing. This seems to be especially true when working at home at a desk area, on a computer, and when a person is in the middle of doing something that needs to get done.

If you suffer from feline induced work struggles then check out this video from the YouTube kitties over at Cole and Marmalade on “How to survive working with cats!” They offer some great insights and tips on kitty management for beginners. First off, you need to always keep a spare chair close by and handy; one for you and one for fluffy. Next, always provide comfortable, and appealing sleeping spots. Any cardboard box will do, just place it at an elevated spot because cats like to be higher up so they can better look down on us. Be sure to cover up and tape down any wires that are hanging around and dangling down because a cat will feel the need to bite and claw at them. When you go to print important documents be quick, alert, diligent, and ready to snatch them as soon as the printer spits them out. If you fail to do this then you better be prepared to re-print the paper because the cat will in all likelihood have promptly destroyed it.

The most important thing you should practice is keeping all liquids and drinks in spill proof containers. Nothing could be worse than having coffee or some sticky, sugary drink getting knocked over and spilling onto electronics or a stack of papers. When all else fails, you need a break, or need to lure the cat away, take some tasty treats and strategically place them where desired. A cat will have no choice but to go to where the treats are and this will work every time. Another idea is to create a cat-free zone by separating and isolating yourself. Get creative with how you go about this and if all attempts fail you may have to shake that treat bag again. Check out the video for more adorable information and we hope these tips work to help improve those special moments spent working with kitty!

Simple Trick For Getting Rid Of That Gross Mildew Smell Out Of Towels. I Wish I Knew This Earlier

Washing Machinekocetoilief

Dank towel smells are not pleasant and can occur quicker than anyone anticipates. Leave a wet towel out or in the washer overnight and the next day it may be smelling worse than it was before you cleaned it. Regardless of whether or not the weather is relentlessly hot and sticky, mildew can still grow like crazy on clothing and towels. It’s a resilient and pesky problem that we all face at some point in our lives.

Mildew smells gross and no one want to rub it all over their freshly cleaned body. When the stinky stuff gets into towels and fabrics it can linger long after the actual mildew has been destroyed. Normal methods of washing and cleaning mildew infected towels are not going to cut it. Instead of wasting time, water, soap, and your wits, try this odor eliminating trick to get the stink out once and for good.

All you need to do is place all of your smelly towels and clothes in the washing machine. Fill it with hot water, the hotter the better, place a ¼ cup of baking soda in with the towels, and run them through a full wash cycle. Once it’s complete pour a ¼ cup of white vinegar into the washer along with whatever regular detergent you use. Run the wash again through a cycle with hot water and when it’s done take the towels out and place them in the dryer as soon as you possibly can. Place the dryer on the hottest setting available, throw in some dryer sheets, and put the timer on for long enough to ensure that they completely dry out.

This should do the trick and eliminate the lingering odors that mildew leaves behind. For really stinky and heavy smells you can increase the amounts of vinegar and baking soda. Try using one cup of vinegar and ½ cup of baking soda if lesser amounts fail to rid the smell, and whatever you do, dry wet towels as soon as possible to avoid future mildew problems.
