They Told Their Cockatoo He Had To Go The Vet. His Tantrum Is The Best Thing Ever.

Ok, so most animals hate going to the vet, and certainly show signs of fear and upset when they realize where they are.  Some may intuitively sense that the dreaded visit is what’s coming, before they leave the house, but can’t communicate it like this cockatoo. If you have a dog or a cat you have probably noticed they start to act strange right around it’s time to get them in the car to their vet visit. This cockatoo is on a whole different level of not wanting to see the vet!

At first Max, the cockatoo,  seems to be “screaming” in an upsetting way as his owner keeps telling him its time to climb out from under the bench and get in his carrier.  However, not to worry, cockatoos are natural “screamers” when they communicate, according to researchers who study them. Apparently this is pretty normal cockatoo behavior.  I wonder if these same researchers met Max they would say this was totally normal..

Finally, he comes out from his hiding place, and changes his tune, literally.  The pitch of his talking becomes much more intelligible, as he lets his owner know what he thinks of the plans to go to the vet.  His vocal and body language reactions are absolutely hilarious.  He truly seems like a child having a tantrum and isn’t about to give in to the growingly impatient prodding by his owner. This video is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a while.  I hope you have as good a laugh as I did!

Adorable Little Baby Won’t Stop Talking So This Jealous Husky Throws a Hysterical Tantrum To Shut Her Up.

It seems that pet owners everywhere absolutely love chatting with their animal companions, no matter what age they may be! Oftentimes our furry friends also love to talk and sometimes they even respond back or sing along with us to songs. When it comes down to it, just about everyone is guilty of having full-on conversations with their pets at some point in time, you can admit to it! After all, they are a much beloved part of our families and anyways, it just happens!

Which leads us to this adorable video of a baby girl getting along well and interacting with her best dog friend in the world. The camera is trained on the sweet black and white husky named Angel and as you can see and hear, he’s quite a vocal pup. He’s hanging out in the family playroom with his little sister, 10-month old Lexi, who’s singing a song and getting him to sing along with her. Every time Lexi sings what sounds like her “alalalalalalala” verse, Angel responds with his own whimpering, howling, yowling type of melody! The whole scene is beyond cute and if you like healthy fluffy dogs and adorable babies, then you just have to see it for yourself!

While it’s anyone’s guess as to what both of them are truly saying or singing about, the two of them might actually understand each other. An AP-Petside poll conducted in 2008 found that 67% of pet owners claim to understand their animals barks, purrs, meows, and all the other sounds they make. In addition, 62% of those surveyed reported that when they speak to their pets, the animals seem to understand and get the message.

Perhaps babies and other very young children are better attuned to what our pets are saying or trying to relay to us. They haven’t been imprinted upon by the world yet and are communicating in the most basic, natural, and instinctual ways. It’s just a thought.. Either way, Angel and Lexi are the cutest duo I’ve seen in awhile and they clearly enjoy each others company!

Humans Try To Take Away This Panda’s Ball. Now Watch His Adorable Fit As He Attempts To Keep It.

Out of all the toys that young children and animals have, there is always one that’s their favorite. Usually it’s a soft, plushy stuffed animal like a teddy bear that they end up growing attached to and they take it with them on all their adventures and just about everywhere they go. If it ever gets lost, misplaced, or taken away from them, it can be a very distressing experience.

For one adorable baby panda named Xiao Liwu, his favorite toy happens to be a small green ball. As you can see in this clip of him, he absolutely loves rolling around and holding onto his ball and won’t let anyone take it away from him, not even his caretakers! He gnaws at it gently and hugs it tightly against his little chest, making it plain to see that the ball brings him comfort. He’s looks like the sweetest baby bear and it brings back childhood memories watching him play with his toys.

Xiao Liwu lives at the San Diego Zoo and has called it home ever since he was born there in 2002. These days he is a full grown Giant Panda bear but when this video was recorded he was just a few months old. He represents and is part of the continued growth and existence of a healthy Panda population.

These days Giant Panda’s are under threat and they’re now classified as an endangered species. Part of why they’re so vulnerable is that their range is small. They only live in a couple of mountain ranges in Central China and those areas are being developed more frequently with farmers and other industries clearing the land and forest. While no one knows exactly how many of them are still living in the wild, estimates place the number anywhere between 1,500 and 3,000.

In recent years, thanks to conservation efforts and diplomacy, China has been sending Pandas to different countries as part of an exchange program. Whenever a Panda is brought to a new zoo in a country they’re met with lots of excitement, celebration, and fanfare. Special habitats are constructed and a highly skilled team of handlers, zookeepers, and veterinarians are assembled. The conservation efforts of zoos are becoming vitally important for the survival of Pandas and Xiao Liwu is proof of how these programs are working.

Whenever She Hugs Her Giant Rottweiler He Makes The Strangest Sounds

Rottweilers are not exactly known for being cuddly and affectionate dogs. In fact, they’ve developed a reputation that’s quite the opposite due to their natural instinct to guard and extremely protective nature. Some towns and jurisdictions have even banned them outright and made it illegal to own or keep one within city limits. Yet regardless of these overreaching prohibitions and the unjust negativity surrounding the breed, Rottweilers have won over many people’s minds and hearts with both their intelligence and the incredibly fierce loyalty they have for their loved ones.

The good looking, black and tan rottweiler in this video is proof of how gentle and sweet they can truly be. While he may look rather large and intimidating, he’s actually a big old softy with a weak spot for love and attention. This beautiful boy absolutely loves it when he gets showered with hugs, kisses, and pet-pets. He even purrs in response to being held close and having his fur stroked in the most peculiar, yet adorable, fashion!

You can hear him purring like a little kitten as the woman hugs and pets him. The noise bubbles up inside his chest and rumbles out. If you didn’t know any better the sound could be kind of scary, but it’s nothing to worry about. Instead, the funny noises are a sign that the dog is happy and feeling really good inside and out! Of course, the look on his face also tells us that, as his eyes are rolling back in delight and a smile appears to be permanently spread across it. He’s also really calm and relaxed as he nestles into the lady’s arms, as if asking for more!

The purring noises he’s making are so common among the breed that Rottweiler owners call it the “rottie rumbles.” The low-pitched grumbled sound is not to be confused with growling, which many people mistakenly assume it to be because they’re so similar. The rottie rumbles come out when the dog is happy and content, not angry and defensive.

This video blows the argument that Rottweilers are mean and dangerous dogs right out of the water, the big puppy here is sweet and loving as can be! He’s putting on a wonderful show and amusing everyone around with his purrs, which are easily one of the cutest ways a dog can express their delight.

What Do You See First – Rabbit Or Duck? The Answer Will Assess How Creative You Are.

Looking at this image, what do you see first? A rabbit? A duck? Many people see both and depending on how fast they are able to see the picture change from duck to rabbit can shed light on how creative of an individual they may be.

The image happens to be a classic optical illusion that has been around for over 100 years. In 1899 American psychologist Joseph Jastrow used it in research he was conducting about perception and mental activity. He found that those who were able to easily change their perception between the two animals had faster working brains than those who were slower and had trouble switching between the two. He concluded that the more creative a person is, the faster they are able to see the image change from duck to rabbit. Therefore, this image can help to assess how creative of an individual you are by looking at 1) what you see first and, 2) how fast you saw it. Try it now!

When it comes to optical illusions, they are all about the eyes, brain, and perception. Specifically, the eyes visually perceive an image which the brain then processes as not fitting in line with or matching the stimulus source that it’s emanating from. In other words, it’s when you look at something and end up seeing something else completely different. You look at X but think you’re seeing Y. Generally speaking, there are many different types of illusions and optical ones, also known as visual illusions, happen to be the most well known sub-category.

This duck-rabbit drawing has re-emerged as one of the most talked about optical illusions online in recent days. Check it out and see how you do!

Sad Circus Lion Spent 13 Years Locked in a Tiny Cage. Now Watch When He’s Freed For The First Time.

After spending his entire life locked in a tiny metal cage, the video you are about to watch below, captures this lion’s first moments of freedom after being rescued.  For 13 long years Will had been forced to perform in a traveling circus, before the Brazilian animal sanctuary Rancho dos Gnomos came to finally release him from this awful captivity, where he was confined to a cramped cage when not performing.

When his cage is opened, it takes Will a moment to realize what has happened, before he jumps from confinement and romps towards the earth, grass, rocks and trees.  He revels in feeling nature beneath his paws with such obvious delight, that it brought tears to my eyes.

Rolling onto his back in the grass and experiencing all of the smells and textures of nature beneath his paws, as he explores his new home, brings home the importance of allowing wild animals to be in a natural environment and the cruelty of this deprivation.  The heartlessness of animals being held captive in order to entertain humans, instead of being able to live their lives in their natural habitat, should never be allowed or tolerated.

The happy ending for Will, according to Marcus Pompeo, the lion caretaker and founder of the sanctuary, where he “loved to lie in the grass and look at the sky..[and] was a very happy lion”, is heartwarming.  The fact that he was able to spend the last five years of his life in this beautiful sanctuary, before dying in  2011, was a wonderful thing.  Hopefully sharing his story and this video will help to free other big cats who continue to be enslaved to this day.

He Asks His Bulldog If He Wants To Sit On The Couch. The Pup Then Throws a Hysterical Tantrum.

Dogs love sitting on couches and who can blame them? Sofas are basically like big, soft, comfy beds to them. Plus, they see people sitting on them and naturally assume they’re also allowed to jump right on! Even if a dog knows that they’re not allowed on the couch they always try to either sneak in a little nap as soon as you leave the house or beg until you give in and let them up.

One adorable French Bulldog named Alice always chooses to go with the latter method, mainly because her legs are too little and short to allow her to jump up in the first place. Her owner posted a clip of her antics online and other than being cute as can be, she also has quite a uniquely strange sounding puppy-dog whine! This is something you just have to hear for yourself so if you want to smile check it out and listen to Alice’s adorably odd voice.

If you can’t get enough of French Bulldogs you’re not alone because they are among the most popular dog breeds in the world. In America they rank sixth among pet dogs according to the American Kennel Club’s 2015 dog registration numbers. Their cute, wrinkly faces with the adorable pushed in noses are hard not to love and their small size makes them more appealing for city and apartment dwellers. With their friendly, sweet, and non-aggressive nature it’s easy to see why French Bulldogs are so cherished and beloved by countless people!
