She Tells Her Pup She Can’t Have What She Wants. So The Dog Throws The Most Dramatic Hissy Fit.
We all react in our own special ways when things don’t go as planned. Some of us get all sad, mopey, whereas others retreat and keep busy by moving on to something else. Then there’s always a few individuals who throw epic temper tantrums that make everyone around them question their sanity, they’re the ones who scream and yell a lot. Just as we humans all have different ways of showing disappointment, so do our four-legged best friends!
The reactions that dogs have to not getting what they want are equally as complex as any persons, it’s just that they’re so much more adorable! When a dog throws a hissy fit or acts irrational because it doesn’t get its way, that’s way more acceptable than when any adult, or person over the age of 10, throws a tantrum.
Case in point: the adorable dog in this video. Sadie is the good looking pup in the Vine clip and when it starts out she has just apparently been denied something. Maybe it was a toy, or a treat, or a nice long walk, it’s not clear and we’re not told what. What is clear is that she’s definitely not happy about it!
Sadie makes her disappointment known to all by groaning aloud and throwing a fit in the most literal sense of the term! She turns from the camera, takes a step, and then throws herself on the floor like a big furry rag-doll. It’s so over the top and unnecessary that it only makes it all the more hilarious and entertaining to watch! However, one person who is not so impressed is Sadie’s owner, Ashlyn Skaggs, who posted the video short. She can be heard in the background telling her dog “Sadie, nobody cares.” Her lack of enthusiasm towards her dogs reaction is like many a parent’s to their kid’s tantrums, they get so used to it that after awhile they pay it no mind!

This Hilarious Pup Throws A Hissy Fit and Give His Human An Earful. At 1:40 I Totally Lost It.
Dogs are a lot like little kids. They love playing and eating and occasionally throw a tantrum. That is what Dinky, a Great Dane, is doing in this home video that his mom shot. His dad was spending too much time petting his brother, Romeo, so he let everyone know how annoyed he was.
Dinky whines and cries his way through the short clip and shows no sign of letting up. His dad explains that it’s Romeo’s turn for “lovies” and his will come later. Dinky does not care to hear this and talks back, which earns him a scolding from his dad. He tells him to get back on his couch bed and stop being so cranky.
The two argue back and forth, then at 1:40 Dinky throws his massive body back and flops on his side. He is either trying to look super cute or he’s about to give up in frustration. Regardless of what his motive is, he sure is adorable and quite the talker!

Big Husky Refuses To Share Bone With Tiny Puppy. The Pup Proceeds To Throw An Hysterical Tantrum.
There are some things in life that you don’t mess with and one of those things is a dog with a bone! When a dog gets a bone it’s usually either a special treat, or given as a reward in recognition for doing a job well done. The fact that it’s a rare delicacy or hard earned makes them extra protective of their tasty snack and a lot less willing to part with it so easily!
That’s why the adorable Husky in this video was so unwilling to share a bone she received with her little sister. She wanted to keep it all to herself but no matter how cute and hard the little puppy tried, she couldn’t snag the bone away, let alone get a taste of it!
You may already know or be familiar with Mishka, the older and much larger dog pictured in the clip gnawing away happily at her bone. Several years back she shot to internet stardom when a clip of her saying “I love you” to her owners went viral on YouTube. People everywhere immediately fell in love with the sweet, smart, an very talkative Siberian Husky.
In the time since then Mishka’s family has grown with the addition of Laika, a fellow Husky. These days the pair get along great and love spending time chasing squirrels, talking, singing, and playing together. Even still, back when Laika was a puppy Mishka wasn’t so ready and willing to share a hard earned bone with little sister! There are just some things a dog simply won’t part with.

Dogs have many personality traits, behaviors, and all sorts of other little things in common with young kids. They both love to play and eat, and occasionally they throw a temper tantrum, especially when they want more attention. The problem in this case is that the “Child” throwing a jealous tantrum in this hilarious video is a 34 inches tall and 170 pounds! In our featured video this huge Great Dane is so adorable and goofy with his jealousy that is guaranteed to to put a smile on your face.
Before we get into today’s featured video and story let’s go over some common dog behaviors and history. Archeologists estimate the dog and human relationship goes back anywhere from 14 thousand years ago to 36 thousand years ago! That is a long time for any two species to have such a close and symbiotic relationship. It’s no wonder so many of us talk to our dogs just like we talk to other people and most time our pups answer us back!
Different Dog Behaviors and What They Are Trying To Communicate To Their Humans:
For anyone who has ever had a dog it isn’t huge news to find out that dogs feel actual love for their owners. However, because they’re unable to speak, they have to find other ways to communicate their love. Even dog lovers might be surprised by the hidden meanings behind the things that your dogs do on a regular basis.
Sleeping on their side – It seems that when dogs sleep on their sides, they’re actually trying to tell their owner how they feel about them. By doing this, dogs are telling you that they love and trust you.
Sleeping on their stomach – When dogs sleep on their stomachs, its often because they are shy or gentle dogs. When sleeping in this way, dogs are unable to sleep deeply and cannot reach REM sleep in this position.
Sleeping on their back – When a dog sleeps or lies on its back, it is often because they are hot and are trying to cool off. If the dog’s arms are crossed, it means they want to be left alone so he can sleep.
Staring – If a dog is staring at you, it simply means that he wants your attention and love. So go out and play already!
Staring with their tongue out – While staring certainly identifies a desire for attention in a dog, a tongue out also can show you what mood they are in. Usually, when a dog stares with his tongue out, it means that he is relaxed and generally content at that moment.
Intense eye contact – When a dog stares intensely at you, it actually means something different than a normal stare. This kind of scrutiny signifies that the dog is trying to read your expression as to better understand what you want from the animal.
When Your Dog Jumps On You After You Arrive At Your House – This is because he missed you so much that if it means knocking you over and giving you a hug while licking you on the floor; so be it! This is the ultimate show of love any canine will ever show for their human.
Stance with open mouth, relaxed tail, and high ears – When a dog carries this stance, it means that the animal is relaxed and secure in its surroundings. If you want to approach a dog you don’t know, look for this stance.
Stance with a pointed tail and forward-facing ears – When a dog maintains this posture, it means that the animal is curious about something. They probably hear or smell something that interests them.
Loose floppy tongue – When a dog has its mouth open with its tongue hanging out, it simply means that your dog is extremely happy. Keep up the good work!
Soft increasing bark – If a dog starts barking at you and steadily continues louder, it means that he wants to play with you. So what are you waiting for?!?
Everyone knows that dogs are full of love. What most don’t know is that many regular actions that dogs take can actually tell you things about the dog. Through their actions, dogs communicate mood, wants, and even love. Here are some of the ways they tell you that something is bothering them.
Howling – Dogs have exceptional hearing, often much better than humans. As a result, they can hear things that we can’t. This includes high pitched noises. Dogs usually howl when they hear these noises either because they’re irritated by the noises or because the noises are actually hurting the dog’s ears.
Baring teeth, ears back, and snarling – This one is pretty obvious. If a dog is exhibiting this kind of aggressive behavior, it means that it is aggravated and on edge. Make sure to always be careful when approaching dogs in an angry state as they could pose a physical threat. If your own dog is like this, try to calm them down by giving them a treat, bone, or toy they like. Hopefully, this will relax your pup.
Low growl – This just means that your pup is anxious or scared. Logically, if there is something that is clearly scaring the canine, separate the two. If you’re not sure what could be causing it, employ the same tactics as when your dog is angry. Note what antagonizes your dog so you can avoid negative interactions in the future.
Now that we are all experts on canine pup behavior let’s get right into today’s hilarious featured video:
Apparently the big baby thought that his mom was spending a little too much time petting her new cute new puppy and so he let her know exactly how unhappy and annoyed he was. The giant dog used his sheer size to his advantage and got right up in his owner’s face.
He reared up on his hind legs and placed his front paws on the woman’s shoulders, as if to say ‘look at me!’ All the while he just stares directly at her, his face just inches from hers, wearing the most pitiful expression. The poor dog clearly feels jealous of the fact that his mom is petting the new puppy and not him!
It’s crazy to see just how ginormous Great Danes really are. When this one stands on his back legs he’s much taller than his mom, who appears to be about average-size, and compared to the puppy he’s colossal!
Even though he’s so much bigger, he’s very gentle and his demeanor seems quite sweet and calm. He isn’t growling or barking or threatening the puppy, he just wants a little love sent his way! This clip just goes to show that big dogs need love too!

Some animals know exactly what they want and oftentimes they enjoy receiving a nice, gentle, relaxing hand massage from their human companions. It’s no secret that many of our furry pets love to be pet, which may be why we call them “pets” in the first place. Or maybe it’s the other way around, and we call it petting because they are our pets. Whatever the case may be, lots of animals simply love being stroked and scratched. They usually have a sweet spot where they especially like being rubbed. For cats it seems to be around the cheeks, dogs like their ears and back scratched, and then there are some pets whose sweet spot is everywhere and anywhere.
The little bunny in this video seems to fall in the latter category. From the looks of it he likes being pet all over, especially down his backside. The man in the video gently strokes his ears, nose, cheekbones, temples, head, and back, while the bunny twitches his nose and sits with a content expression on his face, his body completely relaxed, at ease and perfect peace.
When the man stops petting him the bunny is clearly not happy about it. He stamps his furry little paws and lets out adorable growling sounds in protest. It might just be the cutest behavior I’ve ever seen a rabbit do! At one point the furry little guy searches for more pet-pets by crawling under the man’s hand, urging him to resume the mini-massage that he so rudely ended. This bunny knows what he wants and he’s basically telling the man through his grunts, growls, and foot thumping that he is not pleased the cuddle session ended!
Contrary to popular belief, lots of bunnies love being pet and shown affection. The areas they most enjoy being pet is on their head and down their backside. Many often like their dewlap, the roll of skin underneath their chin, scratched and rubbed, but some don’t like this at all. The bunny will let you know whether or not it’s enjoying the attention. When they purr, chatter their teeth, flip flop over, and close their eyes it means they like it and if you stop and they poke your hand with their head it means “don’t stop, keep petting forever!”
Rabbits and bunnies are very expressive, you just have to know how to read them, and over time you become familiar and accustomed to an individual one’s behavior. Like every other pet in the world, they have their own distinct quirks and personality traits…
The cute rabbit in this video has certainly bonded with his human friend as he feels comfortable demanding the man do what the lil bunny wants him to do. Great Danes may look impressively large and imposing, but they’re really just big babies at heart! They are all around friendly, intelligent, sweet-tempered, social, and even natured animals that absolutely love to be pampered and pet. That’s the reason why they are often called the ‘Gentle Giants’ of the dog world! It’s a nickname they’ve earned and once you see how Max the Great Dane reacts to some disappointing news, you’ll understand why.
Max was all ready and set to go swimming in his beautiful backyard pool when his mom suddenly told him that he couldn’t go for a dip. Since he had been looking forward to a relaxing swim all day long, he did not take the sudden change of events lightly.
Rather than remain calm, Max immediately launched into a noisy temper tantrum and let his unhappy feelings be known to anyone in the vicinity. This big boy wants to swim and he wants everyone to know! The fact that Max is deaf never stops him from arguing with his owners.
He whined and protested the pool ban aggressively, answering and challenging his mom every step of the way. The way he talks back, you’d think he could hear every word she said! He’s like a 160 pound toddler who just needs to get his way! Max is one of my favorite dogs on the inter webs. I really would love to see him just jump in, but he is such a good boy!
The big gentle six year old boy certainly has it made and life is good for him. According to his Facebook bio page he lives in a beautiful house alongside his sister Katie, who also happens to be a Great Dane, his mom and dad, and several kitty cats. Check Max out for a good laugh, he surely knows how to brighten anyone’s day!

Great Danes look both impressive and imposing all at once. Weighing in at well over 100 pounds and standing at a shoulder height of 30 inches or more on average, they are considered giants of the canine world. However large and in charge as they may appear to be, don’t let their size fool you!
As it turns out, Great Danes are also called the ‘Gentle Giants’ of the dog world and they have most definitely earned that nickname. They are incredibly friendly, even-tempered, and sweet natured dogs that love to be pet and doted on by their owners. They also get along well with other animals, including cats, and are extra careful and safe around children. Thanks to their size, intelligence, loyalty, trustworthiness, and good looks, they are the 15th most popular dog breed in America, according to data and records compiled by the American Kennel Club (AKC) in 2014 and 2015.
Another major reason why Great Danes have proven to be so popular is that they don’t require a lot of work or exercise. Instead of running around and always yearning to go on walks, they prefer resting and low key activities. In fact, it’s actually bad for their health to over-exercise them because they’re prone to bone and joint related issues due to their enormous size and rapid growth rate. Daily walks are fine and necessary, but they shouldn’t be super long or arduous.
It seems that one Great Dane has taken the above information to heart because all that he really wants to do is stay in bed and relax, and who can blame him?! Max is his name and according to his Facebook page bio he’s six years old and lives alongside his sister Katie, also a Great Dane, his mom and dad, plus a few little kitty cats.
As you can see in this clip, life is good for the big handsome guy. One fine afternoon he was relaxing on his parent’s spacious, soft comfy bed, as he often does, when his mom told him to get up. Being deaf, Max couldn’t actually hear her, but all it took was one glance her way and he knew what she wanted. Rather than quietly obey and go along with her wishes, he decided to throw a little attitude her way instead and launched into a noisy, albeit halfhearted, fit!
While Max may be deaf, he’s clearly not mute because he got really vocal. He whined and cried out in protest, all while yawning and trying his best to not pass back out! He’s just like the rest of us when we don’t want to wake up or leave our cozy beds any earlier than we absolutely have to. With his mushy face, wrinkly body, and sad puppy eyes, he’s simply too adorable to say no to or ignore. He certainly knows how to both protest and win over hearts at the same time because he’s using his sweetness to his advantage!

Overall, many pet owners love to talk to their animal companions as if they were fellow humans. Whether it is in a regular tone or as baby talk, everyone has chatted with their furry pals at some point in time. It is a natural, normal and perhaps instinctual way to communicate and bond with them. When you are part of the family you know that a healthy relationship always involves good communication with your siblings, parents or kids.
The same goes for family relationships with fur babies! Having light hearted banter with your cat or dog is pretty much an everyday occurrence for most pet owners. I know that I have full on conversations with both my dogs and cats and a lot of times they tend to reply as if they know exactly what we were talking about!
Sometimes our pets will even initiate conversations or talk back to us. In fact, around 67% of pet owners claim they understand their animals barks, meows, purrs and all the other sounds that they make. Of those surveyed, 62% say that when they speak their animals seem to understand them and get the message. These numbers are from a 2008 AP-Petside poll and are likely to have increased since then, as pets are more and more considered important family members, in particular as children.
In the following clip a man asks his pup if he wants to go on the couch. The dog begins to answer quietly then his speaking turns into an alien language I have never heard come out of a dog before. Personally if it was my pup, I would let him up in 5 seconds. But in the following clip, his human really wants to hear why this adorable Frenchie wants to come up on the couch.

From a dog’s point of view, visiting the dog park ranks high up on the list of fun things to do and favorite places to go. It’s the main spot where all the local dogs can gather together and interact with one another openly and freely. They get to run around, sniff people out, meet up with old dog friends and make new ones, and play games like fetch and chase.
Dog parks are basically like what going to the playground is for a young child. It’s not only fun, it’s also convenient, for both owners and their pets so everybody wins! Many people bring their dogs to help socialize them so that they’re comfortable and relaxed, rather than fearful and aggressive, around other dogs.
There’s a bunch of different reasons and advantages to going to the dog park. An often cited one is that your pet gets to release a lot of their pent up energy. When you return home they usually pass out and sleep the day away, so you’re free to get things done while knowing that your dog is happy and well taken care of.

The handsome boy sure knows how to throw one heck of a loud temper tantrum. He whines and moans up a storm in protest while standing firmly in place when his mom tells him it’s time to go. It even sounds like he’s saying “nnooooo” over and over again as he cries out in anguish over the thought of having to leave the park! He carries on for about a minute and doesn’t stop when other dogs or people wander over to him.
The only thing that gets him to stop moaning is the promise of a tasty treat offered up by a woman. When he hears that he starts moving quickly along, just like a good boy! Mom Tells Cockatoo He Can’t Eat The Donut. The Bird Proceeds To Throw The Most Hysterical Tantrum.
Any pet owner will readily tell you just how much their beloved animals are full of life, personality, and surprises. It seems that bird owners in particular are honed in on their feathered friend’s traits and antics, especially those with cockatoos and other talking parrots. Maybe it’s because they tend to spend a lot of time and effort working with and talking to the birds, but whatever the reason may be, they’re often extremely bonded and close to them.
Living with a cockatoo often translates into a couple of things. One is that you’re in for a good time, and two is that you’ll never end up feeling lonely because you’ll always have someone to chit-chat with!
Out of the many cool things that a cockatoo enjoys, talking is probably their most favorite pastime activity. The clever birds love to mimic the sounds they hear the most frequently and with a little time and practice they’re often able to nail them exactly.

The cute cockatoo thought that she had narrowly gotten away with eating a piece of her owner’s donut but her sweet-scented breath, that smelled suspiciously of donuts, gave her away! When her owner spoke up and said something about the matter, Jersey didn’t want to hear it. Her mom first asked her “Who said you could have a donut?” and in response the plucky bird raced back and forth on her perch, bobbed her head firmly, and responded with what sounded like “Me!”
After being scolded by her mom for the donut issue Jersey got real feisty and started sassing back at her. She flapped her wings, squeaked and squawked up a storm, all while strutting back and forth on a branch. Her mini-temper tantrum is too cute and shows just how high spirited cockatoos often are. And while she may be missing a few feathers, that just seems to make her more endearing.
It’s not clear as to why she has bald patches of missing feathers. The most common causes of it are either disease or frustration and boredom, but it could just as well be due to a number of other things like genetics, a hormone imbalance, or over-preening by a fellow bird friend.
Whatever the case may be, Jersey is clearly loved and adored by her owner who shows her lots of attention and affection. The clip is a welcome change from all of those cute cat and dog ones out there so be sure to check it out and if you’re a bird lover then this will definitely make you smile!
