It is always heartbreaking when animal abuse is revealed, making us wonder how human beings can be so lacking in compassion to enslave animals in horrible conditions. To torture any living thing is just
incomprehensible.
The flip side of hearing about such abuse, is that the story usually has a happy ending; such is the case in the video you are about to watch below. Bandit is a bull that has lived his entire life chained up in a narrow stable, along with 500 other cows, bulls and calves.
Thanks to the efforts of the Gut Aiberbichl farm animal sanctuary in Austria, Bandit and his other stable mates have been rescued from these harsh conditions. The footage you are about to watch shows Bandit’s exhilaration at his first moments of freedom. He prances and dances feeling the great feeling of the fresh hay beneath his feet.
After being transported to the sanctuary, we see him romping with such happiness. There is a moment when he sidles up to the man who saved him, which brought a tear to my eye; his gratitude for the man’s affectionate stroking and for his newfound freedom is palpable as he nuzzles up to his rescuer.

Hidden Security Camera Caught This Cat Rescuing A Little Child From The Babysitter!

Over the years several pets have been caught on video trying to protect their family’s young children from potential harm. Most often the animals defending these children happen to be dogs. Such behavior is more instinctual and in line with a dog’s nature and their (often) larger sizes serve well to deter any attackers.
However, sometimes it is the family cat who comes to the rescue. Just last year a video went viral of a cat springing into action to help a small boy who was being attacked by a neighbor’s dog that had gotten loose and bit him. In this video, the family cat hears a commotion and runs downstairs to check it out.
In the moments preceding the cat’s arrival on the scene a woman, thought to be either a babysitter, nanny or mom, is bouncing a ball back and forth with a young boy. When the child throws the ball back at her it hits a glass cup on the coffee table causing it to fall and break.
Upstairs, the black and white cat had been lounging around and was likely startled by the sudden sound of glass breaking. The kitty jumps off his comfy seat and heads over to investigate the scene, whereupon he sees the woman starting to pick up the shards and gently push the child away from them.
The startled child’s crying, woman’s stress, and broken glass are all what the cat see’s and senses. At this point the kitty’s protection instinct kicks in and he starts to attack the woman, batting and pushing her away from the boy. The video clearly shows the cat only going after the woman and never the little boy.
While the child was likely not in any danger from the woman, the cat assumed that he was and reacted without hesitation. The protective feline likely heard the child crying and decided to defend him since he was the one defenseless person in the room. The cat seems to have judged the woman a threat and thus tried to keep her away from the boy.
If in the future the child is ever in real danger, it is reassuring to know that this cat will try hard to protect him.

THIS Cow Was So Terrified She Started Crying Until She Realized Where She Was Headed

At the Kuhrettung Rhein-Berg Sanctuary in Germany a dairy cow named Emma was acting nervous and not like her usual self. Earlier in the day she had been loaded onto a trailer and driven to her new home at the sanctuary. The dairy farm which she’d called home had recently closed down and she had originally been headed to the slaughter house before her rescuers stepped in.
At first Emma was terrified as her life was suddenly turned upside down. At the start of the video she can be seen crying visible tears of sadness and fear as she was placed in the strange trailer. It’s heartbreaking, but not for long.
Once she arrived at the sanctuary she was released into a spacious pasture filled with green grass, rolling hills, and other cows. She slowly made her way into her new home and before long the other cows came up to greet her. They sniffed and checked each other out and enthusiastically surrounded her.
It’s as if they were all reassuring her that everything was going to be just fine. By the end of the video it looks like Emma has quickly been accepted into her new family and the group goes running off happily into the field.
What started out as a terrifying ordeal ended the best way possible. Thanks to a group of dedicated people Emma was not slaughtered and instead was brought to the Kuhrettung Rhein-Berg Sanctuary in Germany to live. The group rescues dairy cows and retires them to a former farm where they can naturally live out the rest of their days.
Prior to her arrival at the sanctuary, Emma’s life was anything but natural. Cows are known for producing milk and associated dairy products. In order to make that milk a cow must become pregnant and give birth to a calf, whom it will nurse.
However, in the dairy industry young calves are taken away from their mothers shortly after birth so that the milk can instead be collected for human consumption. This separation of mother and child is done early on in an effort to cause minimal stress to both, but it’s also done repeatedly in order to keep cows producing milk.
Cows, like Emma, who end up at the sanctuary are retired, in that they are no longer impregnated and thus do not produce any milk. Fortunately for Emma, she gets to stay with other rescued dairy cows on the farm sanctuary. Her life has changed dramatically for the better.
Now she is able to live alongside other happy cows and can do all the normal, natural things that cows do. It’s a happy ending that she, and others like her, deserve.

The Pit Bull who was rescued and brought to this shelter, was the victim of people who abused him for a dog fighting operation. It is appalling how animals are repeatedly put in dangerous situations for human profit.
A woman comes to visit this traumatized animal whom we see is behind bars. It seems that she is there to assess what he needs and his current level of aggression. Although she is clearly experienced with regard to animal body language and sound, I still found her approach to this frightened dog to exhibit not just compassion, but bravery.
He was moaning a sound that could be interpreted in different ways, but given the fact that he wagged his tail as she soothed the dog in a loving tone, she felt she could extend her hand to him through the bars. The look in his eye when she initially approached him, spoke volumes.
He looks mistrustful and beyond skeptical about approaching her. What eventually happens should not be missed. Pit Bulls, as a breed, have an aggressive reputation. Abused And Neglected Dog Is Rescued. Her Reaction When She Picks Out Her First Toy Ever Is PRICELESS
When it comes to dogs and toys, you just never know what they might love, or hate, to play with. Some dogs love nothing more than to go after tennis balls, others prefer a nice hardy stick they can chew on and fetch, while others enjoy toys they can play tug of war with.
These days there are thousands of different play things available for every type of canine need or desire. There are ones that squeak or are indestructible, some are specially designed for small or large breeds, and a few are even highly interactive.
It can be really hard to choose one toy when you are staring down aisle after aisle of potential ones for your pet. No one wants to pick out one and excitedly bring it home to a dog who could care less about it. Toys are not cheap and many have wasted their money searching for something they think their dog would love.
That’s why it’s best to leave the picking and choosing up to your four legged friend, which is exactly what one thoughtful owner did. He took his best friend Roo to the pet store and let her check out the selection first hand. The excited Golden Retriever spent some time roaming the aisles, sniffing through the goods, as she looked for something that caught her eye.
It was only when she came across a bin of stuffed animals that she knew what she wanted. After hopping up on her hind legs she reached her mouth in and made her selection by grabbing one of the plushy animals. Mission complete, toy acquired, now time to play!
According to Roo’s owner, Brian Beker, this was her first time experiencing a pet store environment and all it has to offer. He rescued the one year old Golden Retriever from a horrible living situation that no dog or animal should ever have to suffer through.
Roo spent the beginning of her life growing up starved of food, deprived of love, imprisoned, and neglected. Now that she is with him all that he wants to do is give her a second chance at leading a normal, happy, and love filled life.
Naturally, any beloved pet needs a few toys, especially one that has never had any her whole life to chew on or chase around. Since Roo picked out the one she liked the best, it’s safe to say that she will be enjoying it and Brian can rest assured that he didn’t waste his money!

These Neglected Bears Were Caged For 20 Years. Now Watch The Moment When They Are Finally Set Free!
Unimaginably horrible living conditions were the fate of four bears for the last 20 years. They were confined to rusty small cages, with no shade, and no free access to water when they wanted, at a decrepit roadside zoo in Pennsylvania, USA. Bruno, Fifi, Marsha and Pocahontas experienced this mental and physical cruelty without hope.
So neglected, and further forced to perform tricks when suffering from arthritis, these poor bears were in terrible shape when they were discovered. After so many years of suffering, these wonderful animals were rescued in July, 2015; Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado and PETA finally came to their rescue.
This beautiful video shows us the incredibly uplifting scene of the the bears, taking their first step out of their horrible cages, toward a life of care and ultimately freedom. Once adjusted, the four friends will be released into a 15 acre habitat where they will live out the rest of their lives free in nature.
