This Malnourished Mom Just Realized She’s Being Rescued. When She Sees Her Rescuers She Does THIS
The Villalobos Rescue Center is the largest Pit Bull rescue center in the world. They work ceaselessly every day and night to give Pit Bulls a second chance at life. All dogs that are brought in are neutered or spayed and they are given any necessary medical treatment. They patiently work with scared and fearful dogs to re-acclimate them back into the care of people.
Their end goal is to get each and every Pit Bull rescue adopted. Sometimes it is a very slow process, but the results they attain are absolutely wonderful. In the following video, the Vallalobos rescue team finds and emaciated Pit Bull mother in New Orleans. The dog somehow instinctively knew that these people were hear to help.
She approached them willingly and leads them back to where the puppies are. Things begin to get pretty complicated but the team doesn’t give up on reuniting the pups with their mama. This is such an emotional rescue and I am so happy that good people like this still exist in the world.

This Mans Saves A Dog Who Was Dying In A Boiling Car By Doing Something Brilliant
What this man did to save a dog in a hot car was very smart and very compassionate. I saw this story circulating on the Internet and thought I would share it as it has an important message for all pet parents, especially because every summer I read stories with not so happy endings as this one.
“I saw a dog dying in a 100+ degree car one day with the window opened just a few inches, the police wouldn’t come out, and I was running out of time.”
“So instead of busting out the guy’s windows and facing possible criminal charges, I went into the garage, grabbed my shop vac, stuck it in my car with the AC on full blast and stuck the hose on the discharge port and shoved it into the guy’s car window.”
“It turns out the guy ran into his dad’s house and found him stroking out on the kitchen floor, called the EMT and in his freaked out panicked stage he rode with the ambulance to the hospital and forgot about his buddy sitting in his truck.”
“When he finally came back (within an hour), he broke down in tears when he saw my rig running and his dog wagging his tail inside his vehicle. All ended well with dog and dad. And to this day the guy and I (and the dog) are all good friends.”

The theme of this incredible video is “Better Than Buying a Life is Saving One”. In Brazil there are many thousands of animal shelters that grow more crowded by the day. And we all know what happens as these shelters get too crowded. Thousands of helpless animals are lost because the majority of Brazilian families would rather buy a pet than adopt one.
Quatro Patinhas (“Four Paws”), a Brazilian rescue organization, had a brilliant and heartwarming idea. Families came to a pet shop to buy pets. They had secretly set it up with one particular store, to stock it with rescue animals for one day, who needed to be adopted in order to stay alive. As people started to negotiate the price they were told the animal was free! People were elated and shocked to be getting these adorable animals for free.
“There’s no difference if a pet is purebred or not,” explained Quatros Patinhas’ president Christianne Duarte Garoiu. “What really matters is the love that will arise there.” We can only help that the incredible example set by the actions in this video will go viral, so that people will be touched in a way that will change attitudes towards shelter pets worldwide.

These Men Find A Mountain Lion Stuck In A Trap. Then They Do The UNTHINKABLE!
Can you imagine walking along in the beautiful mountains of Utah and coming upon a cougar?! A very angry cougar, at that, as one of his feet was caught in a bobcat trap. Ok, so you are not a conservation officer who might be better equipped to deal with such a situation, like the two men who are determined to help this poor animal, despite the danger to themselves.
You see, they have no tranquilizer or any means to relax the cougar, who is already quite upset at being trapped. In this heart-stopping footage you will watch six of the most intense and stressful minutes imaginable…the officers are only armed with catch poles and a blanket!
Obviously, the cougar had no way of knowing that they were attempting to release him from the trap, as you will see by his amped up fear and resultant aggressiveness. Honestly, my heart was beating pretty fast watching this online; it is hard to imagine the amount of adrenaline racing through these brave men.
The dramatic moment of release is well worth waiting for. These men could have left the cougar to get some means of tranquilizing the animal upon return. Their bravery, in not doing so, is exemplary…they knew that leaving the trapped animal would leave him prey to other animals, (including unscrupulous humans) which could result in his demise.

Video: Newborn Pitbull Puppy Was About To Die. But Then This Cat Did Something Unbelievable!
A one day old puppy was found abandoned, fly covered, and all alone in a garage. With no mother around and no time to spare the baby pit bull mix was brought to the Animal Protective League Shelter in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon the little black and white puppies arrival an assembled team treating him had to quickly determine what his best options for recovery were. They decided to try and place him with a stray cat who had just given birth two days earlier at the shelter. The two were carefully introduced and almost immediately the mama cat sniffed and nuzzled the tiny dog. Her affection and acceptance were clear and from then on the puppy had a new mother.
The video clip here shows the happy part of this incredible story. Noland, the puppy, and his feline mother, Lurlene, can be seen snuggling together along with the other four now-sibling-kittens. They look so warm and cozy all curled up in one big fur ball. It is a touching testament to the love and affection that a mother has for her babies and for ones she adopts. The maternal instinct seems to know no boundaries for this mama cat. She lovingly took in a puppy right beside her own kittens, watching over and nurturing them all.
The cutest part of the video is when the foster mother/volunteer is feeding Noland and Lurlene is right by her side watching over her new son. She looks so concerned about him and like she wants to be part of the additional feeding that the growing puppy needs. When she licks and paws at him while he is in the lap of the volunteer it seems like she is saying to her new baby ‘I’m right here, don’t worry.’ It melted my heart to see that!
Update to this story: Noland’s mother was found chained, emaciated and too scared to care for her puppy and the owner was convicted of animal neglect. Noland thrived and stayed with his new cat family in a foster home until he was too big whereupon he was placed with puppy litter. All the cats and dogs were eventually adopted, even Noland’s mother. The story got the shelter national attention and won them a Petco Foundation Grant worth $25,000. All this because one mother cat’s love for a puppy in need.

This Man Tried To Grab A Pelican Before It Could Fly Away. The Reason Tore My Heart Up!
It seemed like a beautiful day at the beach in this video uploaded to YouTube. The breeze was steady and cooling and the sun shining without a cloud in the sky. But something was not right. A pelican lounging on the handrail of the pier was in trouble. Fishing wire had become entangled around his bill thus holding his mouth tightly shut, inhibiting the ability to eat or drink. It was threatening the bird’s life.
The man in red knew he had to do something about it. With the help of the assembled crowd he sneakily edged up on the bird from behind. The bystanders clapped, causing the pelican to take flight. With precise timing the man grabbed a hold of the bird’s webbed feet and brought him gently down onto the ground.
He carefully secured the pelican’s wings and head so that his friend would be able to cut the fishing wire off. The friend cautiously removed the wire, which took a fair amount of time and effort to work free, as it was wrapped on so tightly. The man in red then releases the pelican but only after a quick final check of his mouth and bill.
The large bird flies off over the water and is now free again to eat and drink. The crowd claps and thanks the man and his friend for doing their good deed. Everyone is smiling and delighted that the bird has a new lease on life. The whole video and rescue is under two and a half minutes but the effect of it will carry on much longer than that. The man in red stepped up and helped a fellow creature in need, and for that he is a hero.
