This Dog Gave Up On Life and Was About To Be Killed. But What Happens Next Left Me In Tears.
The story of Nico, a deaf Dogo Argentino, is so important. He represents so many other dogs who have been abused, misrepresented and labeled as dangerous after living in animal shelters with no hope. You will hear of Nico’s devastating journey that almost brought him to the point of being euthanized.
Because of the posting of his picture on Facebook, the attention he needed began. The person who was to rescue him for a “death with dignity” was to bring him to the vet in order to be euthanized. However, she met a dog who was totally unlike his description. The Nico she met did not appear to be dangerous. She saw and felt his soul and his life changed forever.
Nico’s journey from then on, was no immediate happy ending. He needed veterinary care to remove many cancerous lesions, and he required a foster mom to begin his process of socialization, before he could have the possibility of being adopted by a family and have a forever home.
As you watch this heartwarming video you will hear the tale of his adjustment, his excitement at playing in his first snow and the unfortunate recurrence of his cancer. His outcome is nothing short of amazing. Nico is a survivor of unimaginable physical and emotional trials, who turned out to be anything but dangerous.

Neglected Dog Was Never Touched In Her Life. Watch Her Reaction When She’s Held For The First Time!
Little Harleigh, who appears to be a Chihuahua mix, was found cowering in the corner of her cage, where she had spent over 3 years in a puppy mill operation used for breeding. This sweet little floppy-eared girl had never experienced the loving touch of humans.
Puppy mills are nothing but prisons for these poor animals who have never learned to trust people. They have been so traumatized by years of imprisonment and lack of socialization. When Harleigh is is finally rescued, her fear is palpable, as she is approached in a loving way by a kind volunteer.
Tail between her legs, she at first recoils from his gentle approach. When he is able to hold her, the little dog’s mistrust is still visible, as she digs her claws into the volunteer’s arm.
Her sheer terror is heartbreaking, but after only an hour of kindness and tactile comfort, we see that there is hope for Harleigh. There are moments when she relaxes into the man’s arms that brought tears to my eyes. Other little dogs congregate around her.
She will need constant love and assurance in order to help her heal from her early years of isolation and lack of loving care. The only way for Harleigh, and other dogs who have experienced the horrors of a puppy mill, to make it is to be adopted by a loving and patient family.
I hope this video encourages people to rescue abandoned animals who so badly need our love.

This Puppy Had Been Living In The Trash. Now Watch Her Mom’s Reaction When They Try To Save Her!
The trauma suffered by abandoned animals is just heartbreaking. Hope for Paws heard about a mother dog and her two little pups, who were living in squalor in a back alley. To survive, they had been living off nothing but garbage in a dumpster, and were infested with fleas.
Eldad Hagar instructs the girl with him how to approach these timid animals who have no reason to trust humans. They approached the terrified mom, whom they named Mable, by dropping bits of food for her. Although she ate from a distance, she was really skiddish. Being younger, once the puppies approached to be fed, they were much more trusting and allowed the two people to hold and comfort them.
Eldad had to use a device to coax the terrified Mable to stay still enough to comfort her. She eventually calmed down enough to get her and her two darling pups, named Dallas and Texas, on the first leg of their trip to safety. We watched them in early footage after being rescued and restored to physical health, and after 6 months to far better psychological recovery.
The work that Hope for Paws does is so remarkable. As with so many other animals who get rescued from disastrous conditions, Mable, Dallas and Texas all went on to their “forever homes”, enabling them to live out their lives receiving the love and care that they deserve.

THIS Baby Falls Into The Water and Can’t Swim. Now Watch Her Mom’s Unexpected Reaction!
You may remember a strange story that came out of Japan, of all places, a few years back. The strange series of events first began back in 2005, when zookeepers at Kushiro Zoo welcomed a new male polar bear cub. They named him Tsuyoshi and waited a couple of years until he matured before eventually introducing him to one of the zoo’s longtime resident female bears, Kurumi.
The plan was that the two would hit it off, mate, and have some baby polar bears together. Several unsuccessful years went by without any babies, let alone any mating behavior or even a single amorous advance between the two.
At first zookeepers thought Tsuyoshi was too young, then they started to give weight to the fact that he peed just like Kurumi. Sensing the peculiarities, the zoo sent out samples of his hair for DNA tests and the results suggested that “he” was a “she.”
The zoo still was not 100% positive about Tsuyoshi’s gender and so they anesthetized the bear and did a first hand observation, which confirmed the tests and suspicions. Tsuyoshi was a female, and that’s why her and Kurumi were not successful in having babies!
The mix up caused quite a stir and people wondered how could they have gotten it so wrong? Apparently, it’s easy to confuse polar bears for the opposite sex. In fact, Tsuyoshi’s other brother, who was also adopted by a zoo, turned out to be a female as well! It’s all very strange.
All that aside, Kurumi did end up falling in love with another polar bear, who was indeed a bona fide male. Shortly after she met him she gave birth to a sweet, playful cub, who was verified female and named Milk. In this video you can see the 4 month old youngster and her mother playing and frolicking around. They look happy, healthy, and thrilled to be together.
Above all, one thing is for certain; Kurumi is an excellent mother. The mama bear’s instincts kicked right in when her young cub suddenly got into a bit of deep trouble. Little baby Milk fell into the icy cold water, which was way over her head, and didn’t yet know how to swim.
Thankfully, her mother was nearby and immediately noticed her cries of distress. She sprung into action and rushed to the pool’s edge, dove right in without a flinch of hesitation, and surfaced protectively behind Milk to nudge her up. After a brief struggle, and slipping quite a bit on the wet poolside in her attempts to claw her way back onto firm ground, the cub made it to safety.
Milk was definitely not fazed by her near death experience and immediately got back to what is really important, playtime! Kurumi certainly has a lot of work ahead of her and if this is any indication, her little tyke is going to be a handful.

Burglars Break Into Their House And Attempt To Steal The Baby. But They Never Expected THIS Karma
These days you often hear only bad things about pit bulls and the negative reputation attached to the breed follows them everywhere. People automatically assume that all pit bull dogs are violent, unpredictable, and aggressive animals.
This type of mindset is wrong, not every pit bull is dangerous or waiting to snap, and there are more good ones than bad. If you treat dogs with love, compassion, respect, and train them right, they can make loving and loyal family pets.
One family knows this well. Their two pit bulls came to the rescue when they sensed danger and stopped a pair of criminals in their tracks, literally. Nayeli Garzon-Jimenez was home alone watching her 3 month old baby when a man and a woman suddenly broke into her house.
Nayeli was on the phone with her husband Adolfo Angeles-Morales at the time, and told him someone was in the house. He stayed on the line and listened helplessly as the drama unfolded on the other end.
The man who broke in was armed with a gun. He pointed it at Nayeli and demanded money, or else they would take her baby. She told them she had no money on her at the moment and that is when the woman grabbed her baby out of her arms.
Nayeli desperately tried to get her infant back and fought with the woman, grabbing her shirt and holding her back, but the man hit her hard on the head with the gun and the woman go away. She ran with the baby towards the rear door in an attempt to escape through the backyard, and bumped straight into the family’s 2 pit bulls.
Alerted to the danger of the quickly unfolding situation, and likely sensing the baby snatchers evilness, the dogs stood firmly in the way and blocked the woman’s path. If she was going to try and get through the back yard she’d have to go through them first.
Knowing she was no match for two strong dogs who could sense her fear, the woman turned and fled towards the front door instead. Thankfully, in her panic and blind attempt to escape from the pit bulls, she tossed the poor innocent infant back to her mother on the way out.
When it was all over, Nayeli was left battered and bruised from being hit with the gun. However, her baby was unharmed and safely back where she belonged, in her mother’s loving arms. This story could have had a very different, and much sadder, ending if not for the families two alert pit bulls.
They selflessly stood up to the criminals, defended both their family and home, and stopped the would be baby snatchers from getting away with a heinous crime. The dogs definitely saved the day!

She Spots A Helpless Fox Being Attacked By A Pack Of Hounds. Her Reaction Puts Her Life At Risk!
Men in dashing red coats and fancy riding gear looked very elegant on their beautiful horses, who’s tails had been tied in what looked like french braids, were about to go on a hunt. The scene could have been out of a movie staged in the 1700’s.
In fact, it was a fox hunt about to commence in Britain, that was current. Fox hunting has been outlawed in Britain, but despite this ban it still goes on in aristocratic circles (in this video), with many foxes being killed. Fox hunting occurs with dogs.
In this video the Old Berks Fox Hounds were being tracked by a group called Hunt Monitors. Animal welfare activists and hunters often clash, as this activity that is so gruesome, continues. As the fox hounds spot a fox and go in for an attack, about to maul the fox to death, a woman emerges screaming for them to stop!
Risking her own life, she runs into this very dangerous group of hounds in the midst of their attack, desperately screaming as she tries to save the fox from certain death. This monitor certainly could have been badly injured or killed herself both by the dogs, and even the fox itself, who was terrified, having been surrounded and bowled over onto her back.
With her stomach exposed the savage killing was about to commence, had this brave woman not risked her own safety to whisk the terrified fox to safety. The dogs were about to maul the poor animal to death. She was in fact bitten by the fox whom she had snatched to safety! Impervious to her own well being, she cradles the animal and runs screaming for help to her fellow monitor’s car, to get the fox to safety.
It was reported that the fox was checked by a vet, and no serious dog bites were found. The Hunt Monitors went on to say that after rehabilitation, this fox was brought to an area in which it would be safe from the hunters. Watching this scene unfold in this video, was somewhat surreal.
The “elegant” hunters on horseback about to kill for sport, contrasted with the sudden appearance of this courageous woman willing to risk her life to save this fox, was mind-boggling to watch. Often the activists will spray oils to mislead the hounds from the scent of the fox, but not in this case.
This unbelievably brave young woman was willing to risk her life, rather than allowing a helpless animal be destroyed for sport. Her dedication is awe-inspiring! Watch the incredible footage below and let us know what you think!
