Mama Dog Thought Her Pups Were Gone For Good. But Watch Her Reaction When They Are Reunited
The ties that bind mother’s and their offspring are universally found throughout the animal kingdom. Sometimes, as humans, we think we corner the market on the extent of that bond and and the power that it invokes in how far we will go to protect and nurture our children.
It is true that humans have a far more prolonged duration of care taking than other species. This, however, does not in any way diminish the pain experienced by mothers in other species, when their young are prematurely separated from them.
There is an innate attachment between mother’s and their children that is so powerful that it can cause a mother to do things beyond her natural physical power to protect her young. We often hear tales of human mothers able to lift a car to save her child. Within the animal kingdom, less powerful creatures find the capability to save their offspring from more dominant animals. This power of love is truly one of the most amazing qualities found throughout nature.
The following video which shows a mother dog shedding tears after being reunited with her lost pups. Some may see this as particularly human. The pain of loss and separation is not, however, unique to the human species. The relief shown by this mother dog is something that we can totally identify with as humans. The love and protection of our offspring is probably the most potent emotion found in nature.
It would truly be wonderful if the universality of this kind of love could be spread beyond our offspring to make our world a place where love, rather than selfishness and hatred is so dominant. Enjoy the poignancy of this mother’s relief when reunited with the pups she loves with all her heart.

The sight of 16 energetic puppies pouring out of a doorway is likely the cutest thing you will see today. The herd of little Basenji doggies seen in this video is comprised of puppies from three different litters that were all born around the same time.
Each individual pup sports similarly colored brown or black markings set against a white fur coat, and all appear to have a white line down the center of their heads and noses. The big family gets along well and no puppy ever needs to worry about not having a playmate to romp around with!
The puppies were born and raised in Norway and live with Dag Christer Lie and his wife Liv, who own and run Kingwanas Kennel, which is Swahili for “Congo.” Their two sons, aged 4 and 6, also share the house with the puppy herd and can be seen in the video getting swarmed by the baby Basenjis.
The kids love to play with and among the dogs, and are definitely living every child’s dream of having a gang of puppies to run wild with. The family has an active passion for the breed and have been very involved in the Norwegian Basenji Club and Norwegian Kenel Klub over the years.
The breed’s origin can be traced back to Africa, around the Congo Basin, where they were kept mainly for hunting. They make excellent hunters due to their strong prey drive and are also extremely intelligent. Basenji’s have big personalities and are incredibly curious, attentive, smart and active.
They also love to groom themselves and keep their fur so clean that they rarely need to be bathed, like a cat. Best of all, they are nearly odorless, so you never have to worry about stinky dog smells if you own one. One of the most interesting traits about these dogs is that they don’t bark, hence their nickname the “barkless dog.”
Instead they make a wide range of other sounds, including a common yodel-like noise and deep growls. Some even produce hair raising screams that can scare the pants off a person. Then there are the other usual dog sounds that every dog seems to make such as whimpers, whines, and groans. This Malnourished Mom Just Realized She’s Being Rescued. When She Sees Her Rescuers She Does THIS
The Villalobos Rescue Center is the largest Pit Bull rescue center in the world. They work ceaselessly every day and night to give Pit Bulls a second chance at life. All dogs that are brought in are neutered or spayed and they are given any necessary medical treatment. They patiently work with scared and fearful dogs to re-acclimate them back into the care of people.
Their end goal is to get each and every Pit Bull rescue adopted. Sometimes it is a very slow process, but the results they attain are absolutely wonderful. In the following video, the Vallalobos rescue team finds and emaciated Pit Bull mother in New Orleans. The dog somehow instinctively knew that these people were hear to help.
She approached them willingly and leads them back to where the puppies are. Things begin to get pretty complicated but the team doesn’t give up on reuniting the pups with their mama. This is such an emotional rescue and I am so happy that good people like this still exist in the world.

This Puppy Can’t Figure Out Where His Hiccups Are Coming From. His Reaction Is PRICELESS!
Nobody likes hiccups. We have all been told to hold our breath and count to 20 to stop them. Another less pleasant remedy is to have someone scare us. So what’s a cute little puppy to do the first time he gets those annoying hiccups? You don’t want to scare your pup and can’t exactly instruct him to hold his breath.
This sweet little guy was caught on video experiencing hiccups for the first time. He didn’t like it at all, and adorably kept looking around to see where they were coming from. He then decides the best defense is a good offense. He decides to attack the hiccups in the most adorable way possible!
We might all take a lesson from this pup. He discovered that barking and growling might be just the thing to get rid of those pesky hiccups! If you are someone you know is having a rough day pass this on to them to turn that frown upside down! Watch this clip and admire the ingenuity of this pup!
