This Woman Stuck Paint Brushes On Her Pregnant Stomach. The Reason Just WOW!

In underdeveloped countries in Africa, thousands of babies do not survive their own birth. This is due to many different reasons, such as lack of proper resources for delivery, malnutrition of the mother and child, or untreated diseases.

A Belgian project called Unborn Artists has been formed in order to support the organization SOS Kindergorpen to help reduce the number of children dying at birth. Unborn Artists raises funds in a very relevant and heartwarming way.

As you see in this video, women who are almost full term in their pregnancy, from 32 to 39 weeks, donate money to have their womb become an Unborn Artist. Paintbrushes are lathered in a variety of colors and then gently taped to numerous places on the pregnant belly, all in contact with a small blank canvas.

The mother sits and lets the baby paint its first picture as it moves the brushes to create beautiful abstract markings. To witness a child moving in the womb is nothing less than remarkable. The skin of the belly bulges and shifts in a way that is not unlike some alien creature.

To know what’s happening inside, to imagine the little bundle of joy practicing movement and making itself comfortable, as you would in your most lofty sleep, is an event to be cherished, especially for the parents to be.

By having this movement recorded as the image of a painting, not only can it be remembered forever, but other babies are given a chance at a life which they might not otherwise have had.

Pregnant Mom Turns On Music And Touches Her Belly. When She Lifts Her Hand An Unexpected Surprise!

The very first time you feel your baby move inside your womb is both wondrous and exciting. It is like no other feeling a first-time mom has ever experienced.  The sensation of those little kicks never get old.  They continue to be wonderful throughout each pregnancy, intensifying the bond that begins building, between mother and child, before birth.

However, the first time experience is nothing short of magical. The magical moments of her baby’s movement were so lively, that this new mom felt she had to record the child’s wavelike dance for posterity.  The resulting video you are about to watch is just delightful.

It makes me wish I had recorded the movements of my children in utero.  I still sometimes imagine those sensations, and remember how alive it made me feel. Watching the activity of this baby is both awesome and makes you giggle.  The new mother is 33 weeks into her pregnancy as she records this crazy amount of movement.

The video is set to a cute child’s song about fingers and toes…It seemed like the mom was quietly chuckling. She was so lucky to capture this little dancer’s moves, that one day she will share with her offspring.

The sensation of your baby’s movements inside of you is exhilarating for the new mom, but let’s not forget the dad’s delight as he places his hand to feel those knees and elbows dancing around!  It brings the anticipation and reality of the miracle that is about to enter both parents’ world to life!

They Were About To Put Down This Pregnant Dog When The Vet Stepped In. You Need To See THIS Litter!

Every day animals are rescued and taken out of shelters just hours and even moments before they are scheduled to be euthanized. Many shelters struggle to house and care for the endless stream of animals that are brought in and only a few of them have no-kill policies.

Thanks to the efforts and work of people all across the nation some of the animals who are about to be put down end up getting pulled out. One non-profit program called Vet Ranch is involved in doing just that. The Texas based organization recently rescued a pregnant dog named Gracie, and thus gave both her and her unborn babies a second chance at life.

Gracie is a white and black spotted dog who is friendly, happy and very sweet in nature. When she got to Vet Ranch she was clearly pregnant and had a bad eye that she likely couldn’t see out of. The veterinarian examining her, Dr. Schuessler, determined it wasn’t causing any pain and so her treatment was focused first on her unborn babies.

He examined her, took an x-ray to check on the growing puppies, and kept a close eye on her in the days leading up to her expected delivery date. When Gracie was further along in her pregnancy a follow up x-ray showed why she was growing so big, between 11-12 puppies were in her belly, which was quite an unexpected surprise!

Dr. Schuessler wanted to make sure that Gracie wasn’t alone when she delivered the puppies so every day he checked her for any signs that indicated she was about to give birth. Despite his best efforts, one morning the Vet Ranch staff came in and there she was, laying on the ground with 12 of her newborn babies!

Some were still wet so the staff knew she must have just given birth. They helped clean them off, warmed the newborns up, and placed them back with their mama who was already nursing them and showing signs of being a great mother.

Thanks to all the work and attention of the staff, plus individual’s donations who make it possible in the first place, Gracie and her puppies are alive and well. The video tells the rest of Gracie’s story and gives an update on her puppies.

One Vet Ranch client has even taken in Gracie along with one of her babies, while the rest will be placed in good forever homes. Hopefully her story will inspire more people to rescue and adopt shelter animals, especially those who are scheduled to be euthanized for no other reason than ending up at an overcrowded shelter.

Haters Fat Shame This Pregnant Meteorologist. Her Response Is Epic!

Katie Fehlinger, a local Philadelphia television meteorologist for CBS, recently posted on Facebook to address some negative, and disturbing, remarks that she’s received about her appearance. Katie is currently 35 weeks pregnant, which puts her at the 8 month mark, and is carrying twin girls in her bump.

It seems as though some of the stations viewers are unhappy about her pregnant on-air appearances and have taken to social media to air their hateful opinions.

While many people have shown her love and support, a few trolls have been anything but that. Instead, they left hateful comments, calling her a “sausage in casing,” and one even read “sticking your pregnant abdomen out like that is disgusting.” At first she tried to ignore it, but soon it became too much to just brush aside and she was deeply hurt by the comments.

That’s when Katie decided to deal with these insults head on and on Wednesday morning she posted a response on her personal Facebook page. It has since gone viral and has amassed over 70,000 likes, 5,200 shares, and thousands more people have left comments and messages of encouragement as well.

The response has been overwhelming and mothers-to-be everywhere are sending in pictures of their own baby bumps, to show support and stand in solidarity with Katie. She summed up the national response by saying, “this exploded, because this is the most relatable thing in the world.” Keep reading to see the inspiring words of wisdom she wrote:

A message for the haters…
Hey guys! Once more, I have to get something off my chest. So, the nature of my job makes me an easy target for criticism. I will always understand that, and I will most typically just ignore it. However, after someone blatantly called me a “sausage in casing” and another declared that “sticking your pregnant abdomen out like that is disgusting”, I felt a need to draw a line and speak up.

Everyone’s right to their opinion is important, but so are manners. And while rude comments like these will never make me feel the need to change anything about myself, I find a bigger underlying issue here. These particular nasty-grams were directed at a pregnant woman.

So this little manifesto of sorts is dedicated to every mother out there – other pregnant moms-to-be, moms reading this while their toddlers play on the swing set, moms whose kids have long since gone off to college… You are beautiful.

Even during the most uncomfortable – and let’s face it, less than glamorous – symptoms of pregnancy, what women go through to bring their precious children into the world is, simply put, AMAZING and you should be lauded. Frankly, I don’t care how “terrible” or “inappropriate” anyone thinks I look. I will gladly gain 50 pounds & suffer sleepless, uncomfortable nights if it means upping my chances to deliver 2 healthy baby girls. Now it’s about more than aesthetics. I want these babies to have the best start possible. And that hopefully means my belly that “looks like it’s about to explode!” will continue to grow the next few weeks.

I say let’s raise a Shirley Temple to swollen feet, stretch marks, nausea, all the extra pounds and the dark circles! They’re badges of motherhood. And for those of you who think that’s “disgusting”, remember a woman went through the very same thing to bring YOU into the world.

In the meantime, let’s all remember the lesson Mom taught us – if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all. Source: Facebook

Two Men Feel The Agony Of Giving Birth. Their Reaction Is Priceless!

There are many levels and types of pain and everyone handles them differently.  Whether it is hitting your funny bone, jamming a finger in the door, or scraping your knee, they all hurt.  However, it has been said that there is no type of pain that can even come close to that experienced by women during childbirth.  Mothers understand this and, for the longest time, men never could.  Now males, or anyone else who has never gone through labor, can experience the excruciating pain for themselves and see what women mean when they talk about the agonizing experience.

In this video by How Do We Get Pregnant?, two men are first seen talking about how women likely exaggerate the pain of labor and claim that they could handle it.  They then go to a doctor who will put them through a simulated birthing experience by placing several electrodes on their abdomens.  Over the course of an hour electrical shocks are periodically administered that simulate the contractions a woman feels during labor.

The level of shocks and corresponding pain gradually increase and the responses of the men receiving them get more and more dramatic.  The previously tough guys are now doubled over in pain, gasping, crying out, and grunting in displeasure.  They clearly did not expect the experience to be so torturous and are eating their earlier words.

It’s even funnier when their wives come and join them in the room.  They watch, highly amused, as their husbands writhe around in agony begging for it to stop.  The women offer support and teach breathing techniques to help, but they also high five each other and laugh as the men grab their hands and beg them for mercy.

One guy almost quits but his wife convinces him to continue through the final 10 minutes that he has left to endure.  By the end of their simulated labor the men are clearly zapped of all strength and admit that the whole experience was much, much, much worse than they ever imagined.

The final part of the video is the best.  The men praise mothers, and especially their own, for going through labor to give them life.  They apologize for all the pain they may have put them through and end it with a heartfelt happy mother’s day!

If You Notice A Woman With This Tattoo THIS Is What It Means..

Often when women miscarry, people will be supportive briefly when it occurs early in a pregnancy, and then say something like “it wasn’t meant to be” or “you’ll have another soon”.  They mean well, but often don’t realize the impact of the loss on the woman and the couple.  Miscarriage can cause a profound and lasting sense of loss that can’t just be brushed off.

Joan Bremer suffered the tragedy of losing her child to miscarriage, and felt a need to memorialize both the child and her experience in a symbolic and meaningful tattoo. You will hear her story in the video you are about to watch below.

The tattoo design uses a solid black curved line that forms the silhouette of the pregnant mother to the child within her womb; the line connects the hearts of mother and child.  The simplicity of the design made it a powerful symbol, whose meaning captured the hearts of women everywhere.  So many women have suffered in isolation as a result of the loneliness of the loss of miscarriage.  Bremer’s tattoo served as a unifying agent to connect women who needed the love and support of other women who had suffered similarly.  If you see a woman with a tattoo like the one in the upcoming footage, and you have been through the tragedy of miscarriage, you will know that there is another person who has been touched by this loss, that so often is dismissed.
