At First This Looked Like A Normal Bird But What He Says To His Girl Is Priceless!
The incredible parrot is one of the world’s most intelligent birds and is among the few capable of imitating human speech. According to wikipedia, studies have shown that some parrots can even associate words with their meanings and form simple sentences, and their brain to body size ratio is comparable to the higher primates. Some are even able to use tools and solve puzzles.
Parrots use a different part of their brain for their higher intelligence than we do. Their cerebral cortex, which is the part of the brain we use for higher intelligence, is very small. But they use an area called the medio-rostral HVC. One parrot, named Alex, was trained to identify, count and answer questions about various objects with a high degree of accuracy. Another, named N’kisi, has a vocabulary of about a thousand words that he is able to use in complete sentences and correct context. He even is able to recognize photographs, name objects and has shown a sense of humor.
The parrots in this video are Rose-Ringed Parakeets, found in tropical regions in Asia and Africa. They are sexually dimorphic, which means the male and female look different. The male, on the right in the video, has the distinctive red ring around his neck. They are usually about 16 inches tall and are very popular as pets. Their ability to adapt has allowed escaped pet parakeets to thrive in cities around the world. Both males and females are able to mimic human speech.
The parrots in this hilarious video had me laughing the whole way through. The parakeet on the viewer’s left repeatedly asks, “Watcha doin?” and then, “Gimme a kiss!” and the one on the right complies!

This Parrot’s Mom Gives Him a Birthday Gift. Now Watch How Excited He Gets When He Sees His Present.
When Marnie, a Blue Indian Ringneck Parrot, celebrated his fifth birthday, his mother threw him a festive party to remember. She went all out and whipped up a bunch of tasty snacks for the big day, including yummy looking waffles topped with strawberries and cream. She also invited all of Marnie’s fellow bird friends to the birthday bash and even the family dog came to say hello and celebrate. The adorable parrot was absolutely floored by the whole shebang and his reaction speaks volumes about what a special, kind, sweet and loving bird he grew to be!
The best part of the clip is when Marnie gets his birthday presents. His mom gave him a brand new stuffed bunny rabbit and as soon as he sees the plushy, it’s love at first sight. He leans in to give the bunny a kiss and then tells it “I love you,” and in the process melts our hearts. His adorable antics don’t stop there and neither do the presents because he received a few more stuffed animals. Each time he’s given a new plushy he politely says “thank you,” followed by “gimme kiss” or “whatcha doin.’”
According to his mom, those are a few of the phrases he knows in addition to “you’re so cute,” “peek-a-boo,” “Whee!,” “bye-bye,” “that good?,” “quack quack,” and “yuck, yuck, yuck.” She says that Marnie is quite a lover and is always asking for kisses, which is why she describes him as a “polite Casanova.” His love and affection for stuffed bunnies began when he was adopted around Easter time, which was also when his mom received a little rabbit that said “some bunny loves you” whenever it was squeezed. Over time and with the help of the talking bunny, Marnie’s parents taught him how to speak and the rest is history! Check him out! She Tricks This Parrot Into Eating Broccoli. But He Realizes and Throws The Most Hysterical Tantrum.

There are many different types of pet people. They range from the most common dog and cat people to the lesser prevalent reptile and bird people, but all of them love and adore their furry, scaly,or feathered friends! The type of pet animals we choose to share our homes and hearts with can say a lot about our personalities. Dog owners tend to be more extroverted and friendly, cat people are often highly creative and dependable, and reptile owners are super independent.
While these traits likely come as no major surprise to most people, it’s bird owners in particular who blow away preconceived notions and expectations. Compared to the rest, they are the most expressive, social, and outgoing type of pet owner. Who knew?! However, once you watch this video you’ll understand why you have to be easy going and attentive when you live with a bird like the one seen here.
His name is Eric The Legend and it’s a moniker he lives up to because he has truly become a living legend! People absolutely adore the little nutcase. He earned the title thanks in part to his crazy antics and insane behavior. Eric is certainly one of the most energetic, out of control, and loudest cockatoos around, which is quite a feat since the parrot sub-species is well-known for being noisy birds.
In this hilarious clip Eric happens to be in the middle of throwing a major hissy fit. Why is he so upset? Because he’s eating broccoli and at the moment he hates it more than a two year old does. According to Eric’s owner, the veterinarian told her to include more of the green veggie in his diet. Since she wants to keep her baby boy healthy and strong, that’s exactly what she did, much to Eric’s disappointment.
While it clearly doesn’t seem like it, Eric actually doesn’t mind chowing down on broccoli. His owners even mention in the original video post’s comments that he usually enjoys it. Not on this occasion, instead of eating it he throws his food bowl off the table and down onto the floor. Maybe he got a little too carried away or excited, but he made quite a mess for mom to clean up.

Other than throwing perfectly good food around, Eric also loves trying to get away with different naughty things. When you really love your pet companions and treat them like they’re all part of the family, you naturally throw a party when one of them is having a birthday. That’s how people celebrate milestones and lots of adored pets and animals all around the world get presents, tasty treats, and other forms of special treatment on momentous occasions, most often on their birthdays!
A few years back one very special Blue Indian Ringneck Parrot named Marnie was turning five years old. His owner wanted to do something fun and memorable that all of her pets could get in on, so she ended up doing something extra special. Marnie’s mom ended up throwing him the best party a sweet little bird could ever ask for! She really outdid herself and baked up a delicious looking feast of the one food that Marnie loves most, which happens to be waffles topped with strawberries and cream. The mouthwatering looking food wasn’t the only special idea she had in store, his mother also made sure that all of Marnie’s best bird friends were there to celebrate with him. In fact, even the cute family dog stopped in to say hello and celebrate the milestone.

A Reporter Begins To Interview These 2 Parrots. But, They Decide To Start Singing a Popular Song.

You are about to watch an adorable VIDEO below, of a Fox 32 news reporter interviewing a pair of Yellow-headed Amazon parrots.  Renowned for their talking and singing abilities, this beautiful species of parrots have an uncanny ability to mimic sounds.  As you will hear, their reproduction of songs is distinctly human-like.
The Yellow Heads are known to be incredibly gregarious, which explains the manner in which these two lively birds show off their talents.  You will enjoy a good laugh as they seem to glory in their performance, acting like operatic divas!  When asked to sing they seem to confer with each other as they tune up.
Unbelievably they begin by harmonizing to La Cucaracha, and when asked for their rendition of Old MacDonald’s Farm, they agreeably switch tunes.
