4-Year-Old Is Scared Of The Dark So He Cuddles With His Goldfish. But Then He Wakes To a Terrifying Surprise!

Ever since he could remember, little four year old Everett Hamlin from Bonaire, Georgia loved his pet goldfish named Nemo. The boy was just months old when his parents decided to get him his first pet and, being fond of fish, they ended up bringing home Nemo. Everett would spend hours sitting in front of the tank just watching the goldfish swim around in his bowl and he’d often pick out special little things to decorate Nemo’s home with.
As far as pet goldfish go, the average lifespan is not very long with most living about 2-3 years. Being 4 years old, Nemo had outlived that average. Everett’s mother, Tori Hamlin, attributed Nemo’s long life to taking excellent care of him and cleaning his tank often but none of that mattered after one February night
After putting Everett to bed Tori and her husband heard a sound coming from his room. They asked him what was going on and he told them that his dresser had made the noise. Brushing it off as him being fidgety and playing around, they told him to go back to bed and resumed watching TV. A little while later, Tori went to check in on her son and immediately noticed that he had pushed a chair in his room up to the dresser. There on the floor beside it lay the fish tank but Nemo was not in it. Everett was fast asleep in bed, so Tori cleaned up the tank yet saw no sign of the goldfish.
After looking all over the place with her husband for Nemo they finally found him and could not believe their eyes. There in little Everett’s hand was the poor goldfish. Tori was shocked but managed to take a picture before she woke him up. When he saw that Nemo was dead, he was heartbroken and explained that all he’d wanted to do was cuddle with his pet fish.
Everett’s parents knew he had never tried to pick up Nemo before and chalked it up as an innocent, one-time mistake. After explaining what happened to their son the next morning, he told them that if he got another fish, he promised to never touch it and that from now on he would only touch fish when he went fishing.
Trying to make the most of the sad situation, Tori decided she wouldn’t punish her son. Rather, she saw it as a chance for him to learn from his mistake. In the end, the family went to the pet store and got a brand new tank along with several goldfish, which Everett has promised not to touch. After the story went viral, people everywhere praised Tori for showing empathy and understanding and giving her son a second chance to get it right.

Having a child is probably the most exciting and life altering moment of your life. Especially your first child, not knowing what to expect, everything is brand new and there is pretty much no instruction manual that covers your new life that is about to unfold before you! This whole new world of responsibility can at times become daunting and exhausting.
Now imagine instead of just one baby you are having twins! When having twins any worrying you had about one baby is now multiplied by two! From making sure both babies are fine inside the womb, to having a normal and safe birth, and finally preparations of their rooms and the baby proof house for two new babes!
The biggest fear most new parents face is worrying about the health of their new baby and hopefully no problems or health complications. Sadly for many parents, things don’t run as smooth as planned. There are so many things that could potentially go wrong during a pregnancy and if you aren’t being vigilant these issues can sneak right up on you.
That brings us to today’s story featuring Elisa and Michael Dunn, a couple who were expecting their first child. They were first stunned to find out they weren’t just bringing one baby into the world, they were having twin baby girls! They celebrated the news although they knew it would be double the work, but they still felt blessed and thankful.
On July 4th, Independence Day in the USA, twin baby girls Isabella and Madeline were born. Because they were born on July 4th they nicknamed the two cuties their sweet little ‘firecrackers’. As the new family settled in with their twin baby firecrackers everything seemed to be going great.
That is until one somber day in September when the twins had a routine check-up with their doctor. During the exam the doctor immediately noticed that Madeline’s stomach seemed to be bulging and when he pressed on it something didn’t feel right! The doctor took an ultrasound image, viewed it, and a visible growth was clearly showing. The doctor had to give the Dunn family some pretty scary news…
From what he saw on the ultrasound it looked as if baby Madeline may have some type of tumor or cancer! He sent them to a specialist to get her belly further checked out. They took blood work, got samples, did all the testing that was necessary. Then came the terrifying diagnosis. The doctor told the Dunns their sweet baby girl had a rare type of cancer called a Stage 4s Neuroblastoma. If this news wasn’t bad enough, the specialist suspected her twin sister Isabella might have something similar and asked her parents if he could examine her as well.
That’s when the double dose of terrible news came crashing down on the Dunns. Both of their daughters had soft balled sized Stage 4s Neuroblastomas growing off of their adrenal glands. The doctors explained to them that it is very rare for twins to both have the same cancer at the same time. But in this particular case they suspected that the initial cancer cells started multiplying and duplicating inside Madeline in the womb and were passed on to her sister Isabella.
They reasoned that because they were identical twins they shared certain blood vessels and arteries while they were still in the womb. These vessels would act as pathways for the cancer cells to travel from one baby to the other. Because the cancer began months before they were born and continued growing from their kidneys and then into their livers a successful surgery would not be possible.
Both girl’s livers were now filled with tumors and their fate was now uncertain. The doctors were unsure if surgery would be beneficial and they didn’t think either twin would survive it. So they decided on the next best thing Chemotherapy.
In general Chemotherapy can have serious side effects for a grown adult or an older child; but the side effects for babies this young would be much worse. Their parents were so scared and horrified, but they opted for the chemotherapy, because not doing anything was just not an option!
Both girls started chemotherapy separately during the first round. They both experienced horrible side effects and were suffering through the treatment. After the second round of chemo, the girls were brought back together and somehow just being near each other lessened the side effects.
They both went through 4 arduous, long and painful chemotherapy sessions, then two weeks before Christmas the twins had an MRI taken to see how they had responded to the treatment. A miracle had occurred, Isabella and Madeline’s cancer were both completely in remission and their were no signs of cancer in their systems!
Luckily their rare cancer stayed in remission and never came back! The girls still get check-ups every 6 months just to make sure everything is still in remission. The twins are now healthy and growing up just like any other normal kids would. They had no long term side effects from the cancer or the chemotherapy. Thank god this story had an amazing and beautifully happy ending for these two adorable baby ‘firecrackers’.

THIS 3-Years-Old Boy Died After He Ate a Grilled Cheese At School. His Mom Reveals The Terrifying Reason Why!

Food allergies seem to be popping up more and more within the human population. Whether it’s a gluten allergy, lactose intolerance or a nut allergy it seems like almost everyone you meet has at least one of these allergies. Now this is a bit of an exaggeration but almost 8% of kids under 18 years old have at least 1 food allergy.
This has caused a massive increase in awareness among restaurants, schools, hotels and just about anywhere you can grab some food. Many of these places just doing a full ban on foods such as peanuts, shellfish and tree nuts. These 3 and the following are the most common food allergies in kids: wheat, milk, soy fish and eggs.
Even with these proper precautions in place, food providers being vigilant, careful and following exact protocol, accidents can still easily happen. Although the majority of the food allergies are the ones named above, some people have more rare food allergies that they may or may not even know about until it’s too late.
This being said, many older kids and adults are aware of their food allergies and if they accidentally consume a food that contains their allergy trigger, they sense the signs and symptoms as they are coming on and know exactly how to proceed in order to avoid a tragedy. Some people carry Epi-Pens and/or other anti-allergy medications just in case. If they sense this is a really bad allergy attack they know when it’s time to call the EMS and hospital to get it treated properly before it is too late.
This brings us to younger children who really can’t grasp the concept of food allergy and rely on their caregivers and other trusting adults to give them the right foods that won’t cause an anaphylactic reaction. Many schools and their faculty are fully prepared just in case a student needs help immediately.
The problem is sometimes, adults forget or just don’t know that the child they are caring for has a food allergy. Which brings us to today’s story which features mom Deana Silveira and dad Thomas Silveira and their little 3-year-old son Elijah Silveira. Their young boy Elijah was attending the 7th Avenue Center for Family Services which provides care for children who are under the age of 4. Some of the perks of the center are tasty and healthy meals, care for kids with special needs and just an overall good environment for your child to spend the day.
On one morning in November something happened that nobody saw coming. Elijah was off to his Pre-K classes at the Family Services Day Care just like any other day normal day of his young life. The morning ran smooth, nothing was out of the ordinary until lunch time. One of the faculty gave Elijah a grilled cheese sandwich that fateful day in November. Allegedly the employee was aware of Elijah’s dairy and other food allergies but it must’ve just slipped their mind that day.
The child ate the grilled cheese sandwich and minutes later fell to the floor in anaphylactic shock! The center had a full protocol in place if this situation ever occurred. First, inject the child with an Epi-Pen, Call 9-11, do CPR if the child is unresponsive until the medics show up and finally call the child’s parent and let them know about what is happening!
For some reason that day in November none of the proper protocol was taken. Elijah wasn’t injected with an Epi-Pen, 9-11 wasn’t called, however all they did was call his mom Deana and told her to pick him up and bring him to a doctor or the hospital. His mother frantically ran out of the house, got to the center as soon as possible and drove her son to the hospital.
At the hospital the doctors and nurses tried everything they could, but because too much time had lapsed Elijah was beyond the point of no return. Elijah was pronounced dead at the hospital on that tragic and fateful day in November.
Next, an investigation began to try and piece together what happened that horrific day that led to this young boy’s untimely demise. Investigators quickly learned that all the protocols that were in place were ignored and that the center failed on every level! The Family Services Day Care Center was shut down indefinitely due to negligence and being the reason this family lost their child.
Elijah’s tragic story is a stark reminder that one simple mistake can lead to the death of a child.

Infant Suddenly Looks Up At The Ceiling and Begins To Hysterically Cry! Dad Runs To Grab His Baby!

If you have ever been in and experienced an earthquake firsthand then you know it’s something you will never forget. The feeling of the Earth moving beneath your feet is scary and completely unsettling. At first it takes a moment to register what is actually happening and then you have to act quickly in order to get to safety.
That’s not always easy. Depending on the strength of the earthquake, it can easily throw off your balance and make walking incredibly difficult. The raw absolute power of a quake is simply indescribable and terrifying. Even babies, who have no idea what’s going on when they happen, know that they are something to cry about.
Last year at 8:30 in the morning a major earthquake struck Anchorage, Alaska. It measured a 7.1 on the Richter scale, making it the strongest quake in recent memory for the area. One family caught up in the chaos managed to capture the moment it struck on their home video surveillance and its incredibly eye opening as to the power of mother nature.
According to Tony, the man seen in the clip and father of three young children, he was in the kitchen feeding his infant son when he first heard the low, faint rumbling that comes right before an earthquake.
Sensing the imminent danger, the baby started to cry and that’s when he jumped up, grabbed the child, and headed straight for the front door. Outside they would be safe from things like falling furniture, shattered glass, or even the house collapsing. Not seeing his other children outside, Tony ran back in and found them trying to get out, so he helped them escape along with his wife.
Inside the house furniture and the family’s belongings were rattling and shaking furiously, drawers were opening and closing, pictures fell off the wall, and lamps toppled over. As the quake grew in intensity the lights even began to flicker on and off.
Outside in the front yard the young family huddled together in the dark, it was freezing and had been snowing. In their haste to get out no one had bothered to put on any shoes or warm clothes, so they did their best to keep each other warm. In the background you can see a car alarm going off, it’s lights flashing, set off by the furious shaking.
In the end the house was ok and damages were mainly limited to broken glasses and minor stuff like that. No one was physically hurt either, but mentally and emotionally the earthquake took its toll. The children don’t like to be left alone in their rooms and any loud noise sets them off; they think it’s another earthquake.
As time passes their fears are slowly starting to fade and for now all Tony and his wife can do is teach them what to do when an earthquake strikes. That way they can stay as safe as possible.

Mama Believes Her Baby Is Safe and Sound At Daycare. Then She Sees a Pic Of Her Asleep In THIS Crib.

Having a baby is probably the most life changing event in a person’s life. You go from just taking care of yourself all day everyday, to now taking care of a new little human at all times. Trying to juggle everything in life such a job, going on a date with your husband or wife, a nice hike in the woods, or seeing your friends, all becoming harder and harder to accomplish because of your new huge responsibility.
At times it can become very overwhelming and parents can easily become exhausted, run down and burned out. This is where grandparents, a nanny, a baby sitter or daycare come into play. This gives parents a well deserved breather and a time to rest and recover from the hardest job in the world parenthood! Parents will spend exorbitant amounts of money on nannys, babysitters and daycare so they expect that the people caring for their children will do a wonderful and amazing job.
This isn’t always the case which leaves many parents, to stress out and be anxious while their baby is under the care of another individual! This brings us to today’s story which took place in April of last year. A couple from Kansas sent their 6-month old baby Elora off to daycare. They were paying a good amount of money and the place had a reputation for being great and had all good reviews.
One morning a call came in from the Kansas Department for Children and Families. This department makes sure that children are not being neglected and treated properly. During this surprise phone call they were told that the department received a very alarming picture of their innocent little baby Elora.
The representive from Kansas Department for Children and Families explained to them that they received a very unnerving picture of baby Elora wearing a sleep mask, she was turned face down and wrapped way too tight in something that resembled a sack or bag.
At first Elora’s parents were just completely stunned and couldn’t even fathom that this could be their infant. This had to be some kind of mistake! How could this be true? Was it really their sweet baby girl Elora? After the initial surprise wore off they realized it was indeed their daughter!
Her parents obviously fearing the worst went into full panic mode, because Elora had been attending this place since she was only 5-weeks old! Luckily for them, a good samaritan employee who worked at the place realized what horrible things were taking place!
They snapped pictures and sent them out to the proper authorities! Elora wasn’t the only baby being mistreated, there were also other babies being horribly treated at this daycare. Mom got on social media and told everyone about her story and experience to help raise awareness about keeping your children safe!
This is a good lesson to parents everywhere, that no matter what, if it’s a nanny, babysitter or a daycare they must always remain vigilant and trust their gut. If something seems off there is a good chance it is! Always follow your instincts and keep your children safe!

16 Year-Old Girl Leaves a Terrifying Goodbye Letter To Her Dad. He Is STUNNED When He Reads THIS Last Line!

Parenthood is probably the hardest job in the world for an adult to have. Whether they are infants, toddlers, young kids, teenagers and finally adults themselves taking care of them pretty much never ends. A particularly rough time for parents is when their children become teenagers! There nice little son or daughter all of a sudden has all these hormones being released and they go from little angels to devils almost over night!
Soon they are dating, driving around with their friends doing things they probably shouldn’t be doing, having their first sip of alcohol and so on and so forth. I’m not saying all teenagers are bad but for the most part this is the hardest time for any parent who will spend so much time being worried sick that their teenage child.
This brings us to today’s story which features a father and his 16 year-old daughter Anna. This dad was having a particularly rough day because his favorite sports team had just lost the big game and he was feeling really down and depressed about it. He drove home and thought it would be a good idea to pick up his daughter and get some delicious ice cream to try and have some fun and forget about his team’s big loss.
When he arrived at home and went into Anna’s room he was surprised to see that she wasn’t there or anywhere in the house. However, she had left a note for him to explain her whereabouts. Keep in mind, dad was already not in a good headspace so when he picked up this note it was about to become the perfect storm and every parents absolute worst nightmare.
I will paraphrase the note here and then you can watch the video below to get the full details. Trust me you are going to want to read every word of this note. The note basically reads as follows, Anna writes, I met a great guy who drives a motorcycle, has cool scars, tattoos and unique piercings all over his body. He is my boyfriend, my true love and we are going to elope.
Remember, dad was already in a very dark place as sweat dripped down his forehead, his heart dropped into his stomach and full blown panic was starting to set in. He took a deep breath figuring it couldn’t be that bad, not realizing that as he read on the note would get so much worse!
She writes, I packed up my all my stuff and am moving out. We will be living together in his trailer. Also I am 3 months pregnant and we are going to be getting married next week! At this point dad went from panic to full blown melt down. His little princess was about to make the worst decision of her life and he had no clue where she was or how he could protect her and stop this insanity!
His heart was beating quick, as his fear and confusion levels reached an all time high, could he be living in the twilight zone? How could his littler girl be so foolish? How could he have not noticed the signs? Where was she right now? But he kept reading, and just as he thought things couldn’t get any worse they did!
