This Guy Was Feeling Something Grab His Leg. He Looked Down and Saw THIS
A few lucky people visiting the beach had an extremely fortunate and wonderfully surprising experience with a wild sea otter on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. The once in a lifetime chance meeting occurred in the waters of Cadboro Bay on the southern tip of the island near the province’s capitol, Victoria!
The beach was pretty much empty save for a few people who were happily snapping away, taking pictures of the beautiful picturesque bay, when a sea otter swam into view! Beachgoers naturally started filming the cute little sea mammal as he played around near the shore in his natural habitat. Thankfully they did because they caught the moment when the curious otter decided to make friends with a man who was wading in the shallow, chilly Pacific waters nearby.
The sea otter suddenly swam right up to him without any hesitation whatsoever and began to check him out up close and personal. The adorable otter swam all around the guy, weaving in and around his lower legs and ankles. Before long he even appeared to be nuzzling the man, who reached down and gave the little guy a couple of friendly pats on the back.
The friendly mammal looked like he was loving the attention and acts just like an excited puppy dog would, he even gently nipped at the man’s leg as they played in the water. The whole encounter lasted just a few minutes before the otter decided he’d had enough and headed back out to sea. Nevertheless, the brief time that the man and otter shared together definitely left a lasting impression on everyone who was there at the beach that day. The remarkably friendly otter was truly a sweetheart and what an amazing experience it must have been for everyone involved!

He Was Filming Seagulls But He Never Expected This Once In a Lifetime Surprise!
Alaska is one of the wildest places on earth. The state is filled with all sorts of nature’s wonders and its land and seas are teeming with wildlife. From the scenic rocky coasts to the stunningly beautiful snowy inland peaks, there are millions of acres of pristine untamed wilderness and thousands of miles of coastline to explore.
With limited roads and ways to reach the wilds, the best way to get around and see things up close and personal is by boat. When you’re out on the open waters that run along the coast of Alaska you can expect to see some pretty amazing things. This couldn’t have rung truer for one man, Brad Rich, who was fishing with friends near Resurrection Bay off the coast of Seward, Alaska.
The experienced group of fishermen had spotted a bunch of seagulls off in the distance and knew that there must have been a pod of humpback whales feeding nearby so they headed over to check out the scene. With his camera ready to capture any sightings of the whales, Dan aimed it towards the area where the seagulls were making a racket.
Moments later the group’s intuition paid off. The whales suddenly breached the waters surface, not over near where the gulls were, but right in front of the boat instead! All Dan had to do is pan left and there they were! At least 10 or so of the giants poked their heads out of the water as they gulped down fish right off the stern of the boat. The incredible, once in a lifetime experience was all captured on film and the footage is truly amazing.
Brad was naturally beyond shocked and excited as his reaction in the video shows. Be forewarned that he had some choice words to say at the moment and the clip does contain a bit of audible profanity. Regardless of that, Brad now has one heck of a fishing story to tell his friends and family and if anyone ever doubts it he can refer them to the video!
Check it out to see one of nature’s most awe-inspiring and naturally occurring spectacles extremely close up. It’s an exceedingly rare sight to see this many of these majestic, gentle giants feeding on fish all together at once. Brad’s reaction to the whales shows just how surprised and astonished even a seasoned fisherman from Alaska can still be. However, that’s exactly what the state is known for; once in a lifetime experiences with the awesome power of nature.

He Thought He Was Pulling In His First Fish Of The Day. But Watch The Water Underneath Closely
Fishing for largemouth bass is a hugely popular sport in America. Every year it draws an estimated 30 million people to the banks of freshwater lakes, rivers, ponds, and streams. What makes largemouth bass fishing so appealing is that the fish will make you work to catch them and fight you every step of the way!
When a bass takes the bait it’s not a simple reel ’em in type of job, it’s more like a prepare for battle type of experience. The fish will do all sorts of tricks and maneuvers to try and get away. Many will even fling their slippery bodies through the air in a desperate attempt to escape from the hook. That’s why fishermen and anglers love casting their lines in hopes that a largemouth bass will take the bait and thus inject a bit of excitement into their day.
To see exactly how aggressive and big-mouthed these fish are, refer to the accompanying eight second clip of one in action. The footage was captured by an unknown fisherman who was using bait to tempt and lure in the bass at a deep green fishing hole.
He drags the smaller fish along the top of the water and then suddenly a large figure can be seen moving up out of the depths below it. Seconds later the giant bass appears, mouth open wide, and chomps down on the poor little baitfish swallowing it whole. And that’s why they call them largemouth bass!
There was no hesitation on the fish’s part in going in for the kill because they are considered the apex predator where they live. Being at the top of the food chain means that only really humans hunt them, and even then most of the largemouth bass that are caught end up getting released. Many of the larger ones are breeding females and it’s common practice to release them because they are the future of the sport and sustainability is key.
It’s both morally and culturally frowned upon to keep a large female fish and to do so goes against the unspoken rule of bass fishing. Furthermore, in many areas it’s also illegal to take fish of a certain size. Plus, their meat is not the tastiest around. It’s kind of mushy and slimy and not as high of quality compared to the other fish it shares a habitat with, that you can catch just as easily. So if the one in this video was caught, it was likely also released.

She Picks Up A Weird Textured Sand Dollar At The Beach. But When She Flips It Over It’s Incredible!
When we go to the beach, we often find flat, white discs, which almost look like they have been painted on the front with a star/flower design. They are pretty and smooth to the touch, and a nice ornament to bring home and put in a dish or on a shelf.
These disk-like objects are known as “sand dollars”; amazingly these pretty objects were once live organisms in the ocean, that are part of the sea urchin species. Relatives of Starfish, Sea Urchins and Sea Cucumbers, we rarely see them alive.
To be completely honest, I’ve always thought of them as inanimate objects and have collected them like pretty seashells. This being said, when I came upon this video below, that is a clip from the “Sea Something” YouTube channel, I was more than a little freaked out when the narrator scooped up a live sand dollar and turned it over. Neglected Circus Lion Lived In an Old Pick Up Truck For 20 Years. Now Watch His Reaction When They Free Him!
The back of a rusty old pickup truck is no place for any animal to live, let alone a full grown lion. Sadly, that’s exactly where a mountain lion named Mufasa was forced to live his life as part of a traveling roadside circus in Peru.
While the details of Mufasa’s early life remain mostly unknown, it is believed that he had originally been born free in the wild somewhere in South America. He was likely stolen from his mother when he was still very young and sold into captivity shortly thereafter. Over the following 20 years he was mistreated and kept bound up in heavy metal chains while being forced to endure life on the road with the circus.
Life was anything but natural and comfortable for Mufasa. His captors brought him from one town to the next in the back of an old pickup truck, where he was further chained to some old rusty pieces of equipment. He barely had any room to move around and no bed or clean spot to lay on, just a dusty corner surrounded by metal bars and dirt. There was no shelter over his head to protect him from the elements and so the hot sun and pouring rain beat down on him The neglectful state he was held in was shockingly horrible and sad.
The circus that Mufasa was found with was believed to be the last of many in Peru which for years had been illegally using wild animals in their shows. The country recently changed the law and passed a circus animal ban in response to widespread abuse, cruelty, and the sub-par conditions in which most circus animals were kept. The ban made it illegal to keep and/or use animals in circus shows and authorities, with the help of animal advocacy non-profits, including Animal Defenders International (ADI), have been enforcing it strictly.
The ADI group had recently received a tip that the circus was still holding a mountain lion and they accompanied police and local wildlife officials to investigate it further. That’s when they found Mufasa chained up in the back of the truck. What followed was a long, strained eight hour standoff, but eventually the circus surrendered Mufasa and this video captures the emotional moment he was finally released from his heavy chains.
The elderly lion can be seen sitting quietly as he patiently waits for officials to cut the harness off and finally free him from a life of captivity and neglect. For the first time in perhaps 20 years he’s able to fully stretch himself out and perform the one action that cats of all types and breeds seem to love best.
Wildlife officials, with the help and support of the many volunteers who’d worked tirelessly to track down and free circus animal all across Peru, transported Mufasa to ADI’s Spirit of Freedom rescue center for rehabilitation. After he’d been checked out and deemed healthy enough to travel, he was taken on a 3 day journey into the Amazon rainforest to his new home.
Mufasa will live out the rest of his life at the Tambopata Reserve where he’s free to wander about his new habitat completely unchained. He no longer faces a life full of uncertainty and constant travel and there are no more people gawking at him. Instead, he finally has the chance to spend his final few years in the wild jungle where he’s protected and able to move about on his own, and that is beautiful.

The Family Dog Was Flipping Out So This Girl’s Mom Called Her School. What The Dog Sensed Is Unbelievable!
4-year-old Sadie, developed Type 1 Diabetes, at a very young age. It is a disease that is hard to deal with, for adults, let alone for managing in young children who have difficulty comprehending what is happening to their bodies. Strict dietary control and constant monitoring of blood sugars, can mean the difference between life and death!
Sadie’s parents made the decision to get her a ‘diabetic alert dog’, whom they named Hero, to aid in the monitoring of her blood sugar levels, so no severe change ever gets missed. This gentle loving dog is trained, and has the ability to detect a dangerous blood sugar change through scent. He is actually capable of letting her parents know whether it is too high or too low, by raising his right or left paw!
This ability, in and of itself is amazing, but the story you are about to hear in the video below, about Sadie and Hero is mind boggling. Little Sadie was at school, more than 5 miles away from home and Hero, when the dog began to act up. Atypical for his behavior, he began to whine relentlessly, until Sadie’s mom called the school to check on her condition.
