Bear Hit With a Tranquilizer Is Suffering In The Water. Then THIS Guy Swims Towards It and Does The UNTHINKABLE!

Most people have very few interactions with real wildlife. Sure, you might see the occasional rabbit in the garden or deer crossing the street. However, we mostly see pest animals like squirrels, seagulls, and a bug or two. Seeing a rare animal is equally intriguing as it is dangerous.
One day, in Alligator Point on Sait James Island, Florida, such an interaction occurred. A 375-pound black bear was sniffing around the neighborhood. Naturally, when he entered a home, wildlife conservation officers were called. When the officers arrived, everything was going fine. That is until they shot the bear with a tranquilizer.
A common misconception about tranquilizers is that they all immediately neutralize the recipient. This is, of course, true of some. To the dismay of everyone involved, this situation was not one of those examples. Instead of subduing the creature, the tranquilizer sent the bear into a panic.
The bear bolted with the officers close behind. He quickly reached the nearest body of water and began swimming out. It was at that point that the sedative began to take effect. The bear began to lose its bearings.
Back on land, one of the people handling the situation was Adam Warwick, a biologist with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Warwick immediately noticed the bear’s change in behavior and knew that if he didn’t act quickly, the bear would surely drown. Without hesitation, Warwick dove into the water and started swimming toward him.
Warwick grabbed the bear and began swimming back towards shallow water and the other officers. The bear was not entirely asleep and tried to stay afloat by climbing on top of Adam. The bear’s attempts were in vain as it was losing control of its legs. In retrospect, this was probably what saved Warwick’s life. He safely got the bear back to the officers with barely a scratch on him. Despite immense risk, Warwick miraculously put his own life on the line to save the animal. Would you do the same?

Woman Heard Strange Rumors Of a Mysterious Barking Dog On Mountain. She Hikes To The Top and Finds The UNTHINKABLE!

If you heard that a dog was lost somewhere high up on a remote mountain top, what would you do? If you were an avid hiker with experience climbing 14ers (mountains over 14,000 feet), who knew what you were doing, and who loved dogs, hopefully your response would be the same as what Trinity Smith did.
She came across a post on the Facebook page of the mountaineer/hiking group 14ers where someone claimed to have heard a dog crying high up on Mount Bross in Colorado. Despite looking around, no one could seem to find any dog and so many people brushed it off as being a coyote or simply someone’s else’s dog.
Trinity couldn’t let it go so easily and it bothered her that there might be a dog stuck up on the mountain. She’d heard more rumors about a dog barking at night and since the area was desolate and remote, she knew it wasn’t simply someone’s dog. She’d also seen a post about a missing dog named Chloe who had ran off while on a hike with her owner at that same mountain.
At 14 years old, Chloe was an older dog with lots of outdoor experience and had always been able to find her way home. She’d been missing for six weeks and despite her owners searching for weeks, she hadn’t been seen since. Trinity thought maybe the two were connected, it made perfect sense and rather than worry about it any further, she resolved to go check and made it her top priority to find the dog.
On her first day of searching she could hear a dog barking off in the distance but couldn’t find it. Night was falling fast, forcing her off the mountain, but at least she knew there was indeed a dog somewhere out there. On the second day of searching Trinity’s friend, Sean Nichols, joined her.
The two took turns calling out for the dog and been out looking for almost four hours before they finally heard barking far off in the distance. They moved towards it and once they were close found a spot where the echo wouldn’t be distorted. When the dog barked again, they could pinpoint where it was and soon after they found the missing dog, it was Chloe!
The poor animal looked extremely thin and in bad shape. They’d found her stuck on a steep ledge so weak and malnourished that she didn’t have the strength to move. Sean was able to reach her and picked her up, then he ended up carrying the exhausted dog all the way down the mountain. When she went missing Chloe had weighed 90 pounds, when she was found her weight had plummeted to just 26 pounds. The first thing Trinity and Sean did was drive to the nearest supermarket to get her some food.
On the way to the grocery store, Trinity posted that she had found the barking dog on Mount Bross and it tuned out to be Chloe. The dog’s owners found out almost immediately and rushed to meet them at the supermarket. Upon seeing them Chloe lit up, she was finally going home with her family and was safe.
Initially the vet was worried about how much weight Chloe had lost. She was quite old and dogs who lose so much of their body weight as Chloe had usually don’t get better, instead their bodies shut down. After a few tense days monitoring her health and weight, they breathed a sign of relief because she started to show signs of improvement and gained weight.
Trinity and Sean ended up visiting Chloe when she was healthier and were just happy that they were able to rescue her. They found her in the nick of time, the first snow fell soon after which would have made her survival and locating her all the more difficult.

Family Spots and Films a Moose In Their Backyard. But Watch His Antlers Very Closely.

Out of all the many animals in the world that you don’t want to mess with, moose should rank high up on the list. As much as they may seem like giant, gentle deer that graze all day long on shrubs, mosses, and plants, don’t let their vegetarian diet or appearance fool you.
An adult moose can do a whole lot of damage if it feels threatened or in danger. Males in particular are very territorial and aggressive, especially during mating season. That’s why if you ever stumble upon one in the wild, it’s recommended that you avoid looking it in the eye or stomping your feet. In fact, it’s best to not make any noise and quietly back off to a safe distance if you’re able to because they can run at speeds as fast as 35 mph and won’t hesitate to use their antlers to fight!
The bony paddle racks that males sport are one of their most impressive physical features and rightly so. Bull moose depend on them during mating season to both attract a lady moose and dominate younger rivals. The larger the rack, the more intimidating, the sight alone is usually enough to scare a less endowed bull moose off.
Towards the end of the year, as mating season comes to an end, males begin to shed their antlers and what you see in the accompanying video occurs. This is an extremely rare sight that was captured on home video by a lucky family who live near Laramie, Wyoming. As you can see, the moose was wandering around in the snow outside their house foraging for food to graze on. He stopped to have a look around and shook his head while standing with his back to the camera.
That was when one of his antlers literally fell off his head and dropped to the ground. According to Kim Eberhart, who lives at the cabin and witnessed the rare event in person, “The moose shook his head and his paddle fell off right in front of us! It was amazing.” It really is something special and you simply have to see this for yourself because it’s so cool.

This cat is so well hidden that it has been stumping people left and right across the internet and just about everyone who tries cannot figure out where the heck it is! In fact, the vast majority of people who attempt to spot the cat in under 30 seconds fail to do so successfully, and when given an extra 30 seconds of time to look, they still fail!

He Spots a Strange Shape Forming In The Clouds Looks Left and But Things Get Terrifying!
Every year hundreds of tornadoes form in the skies above Earth. The rapidly rotating columns of air tunnel down from the clouds, twisting and turning as they travel across the ground. The extreme weather events can turn out to be phenomenally destructive, blowing away whatever stands in their way, and stronger rated twisters are sometimes even fatal.
While tornadoes have been documented on every continent and can occur practically anywhere, North America boasts the most on average with the United States coming in at number one. The area south of the US-Mexico border is also where strong twisters commonly form and the Mexican state of Chihuahua is no stranger to tornado danger. That is where the accompanying clip was filmed and the dramatic footage that the person behind the camera managed to capture is unbelievably terrifying to watch.
Digital newspaper La Opción de Chihuahua posted the incredible video online which shows a man filming a strange looking cloud formation in the sky above. The dark clouds swirl around quickly in a spiral motion as a funnel begins to emerge from the center of it all. In a matter of mere seconds a tornado touches down on the ground off to his left and as he pans over you can see just how close it actually is. Check it out and see for yourself how crazy this is! If you were the person filming, how scared would you be?!
The guy was so entranced by the dramatic scene above him that he either forgot about, or overlooked, how dangerous a situation he was in. Instead of filming the unbelievable sight he should have run for shelter and taken cover somewhere safer than out in the open. Experts recommend that everyone under a tornado warning should immediately go to the lowest level of their house or whatever building they’re in.
Windowless rooms are the best because most injuries caused by tornadoes are from flying debris and so basements, storm cellars, bathrooms, and closets are often the safest places. In addition, it’s advised that you protect your head and can do that by either getting underneath a heavy piece of furniture or wrapping your arms around your head and neck.
In the end, this short clip shows a scene that is truly a testament to mother nature’s absolute power; it’s insane, dangerous, crazy, beautiful, and terrifying all at once. The events unfold so quickly that it’s easy to see why the man filming didn’t even notice the tornado barreling down towards him. Hopefully he got away and was safe!

Being a tomato lover, I look forward to “homegrowns” in the summertime. It is a simple pleasure that makes salads tastier, or I just like slicing one up with a little bit of salt, for a healthy delicious snack. I have bought tomato plants and grown them outdoors, but until I watched this great video below, I had no idea that I could grow them with greater ease and less expense.
The tomato growing tip offered by the YouTube channel, The Wannabe Homesteader, is an internet find that I had to share. You will see why it received over 460,000 views, and hundreds of comments, from people who just couldn’t get over this technique and were grateful for this easy tip.
There is nothing worse than cutting into a tomato that turns out to be overripe and inedible. It always kills me when I have to throw one out, but now I know that it can be used to cultivate seedlings, that will mature into my very own tomato plants. The process is so simple, as you will see watching this guy, (who has a really relaxing voice), take you through the steps.
All you will need is: a plastic plant pot, some good rich potting soil, and your overripe tomato cut into slices. He will show you exactly what to do, (which literally takes a few minutes), and within ten to fourteen days about 50-60 seedlings will have sprouted. With a minimal amount of effort you will be picking your very own homegrown tomatoes before you know it!
