We have all had to deal with fallen trees, sometimes they are on the street and we can not get past get held up in traffic. Sometimes they can take down power lines and we lose electricity. Then they can also fall on our driveways and backyards!
Removing trees tends to be a really tough job to get done. You should always bring in trained professional tree remover or else you can get seriously injured or cause damage to your property. Sometimes even the easiest looking things can be deceiving. Especially during this time of year when everyone is working on their lawns, gardens and landscape. Bringing in a pro for some things is highly advised.
In the video below, a huge tree has fallen in this person’s backyard and completely obliterated the trampoline, leaving a giant mess and a big clean up job that will really end up being quite a time consuming process. Downed trees can look like an easy fix, however sometimes looks can be deceiving. Many people make the mistake of underestimating the work and things can quickly get out of hand.
The man in this clip looks like a master with a chainsaw! At first it seemed like he doing an amazing job at removing the fallen tree from the premises. Then he most likely forgot about his high school science class and the laws of physics.
This happened because all the branches were taken off first, but the old tree trunk did not way enough to balance against the root of the fallen lumber.
Suddenly something unexpected that would stun even the most professional tree cutters, the magical tree resurrects itself back to life and everyone working on it start to laugh hysterical probably out of sheer surprise! Thank god nothing was damaged and nobody was injured.
This could have spiraled out into a deadly and dangerous ordeal. Remember if you ever find yourself in need of removing a fallen on on your land, make sure you know what you are doing. Actually scratch that, just dial up someone who does for a living!

It is wonderful to have our homes smell good, and scented candles became very popular over the last decade. That is, until it was discovered that many of these candles and scented sprays contain really dangerous chemicals, that can cause permanent lung damage.
I, myself, have stopped using those candles that I used to love, because of the inherent health hazard they carry. I’m always looking for natural alternatives that are chemical free, to provide a nice fresh smell in my home. When I came upon this DIY video for creating a natural air freshener I was intrigued.
The video below is a great tutorial for how to easily, inexpensively and quickly make your own fresh and chemical-free deodorizer. Two alternative versions are demonstrated, which differ slightly in how they release the fragrance.
For both versions, all you will need are: a MASON JAR WITH A TIN LID, HAMMER, FORK, EMPTY CANDLE CONTAINER, SCREWDRIVER, BAKING SODA AND SOME ESSENTIAL OIL. The DIY is easy to follow, and gives you a great means to slow-release a pleasant scent into any room in your home.

Does your trash can smell like garbage, even when it’s empty? Soak a piece of bread in vinegar and leave it in the garbage can overnight, and voila, no more stank. It can also be used as an all-purpose cleaner: just fill up a spray bottle with one third vinegar and two thirds water.
Too many fruit flies? Fill a glass with apple cider vinegar, cover it with plastic wrap, and poke a few holes. The flies enter, but cannot escape. It can even be used to straighten clothes if an iron isn’t available. A few other uses include keeping cats off the furniture, helping cut flowers stay fresh longer, getting tough stains out of pots and pans and cleaning glasses for a smudge-free sheen. The ugly spots and stains are caused by water that contains large amounts of minerals such as limestone, calcium, and magnesium.
These metals and minerals are naturally occurring, most often in areas with low water tables and mountainous regions, and water that contains them is perfectly safe to use and drink. The biggest downside to it is the crusty, whitish colored mineral deposits and stubborn stains it leaves behind. Over time these gradually build up on stuff, especially faucets and shower heads.
Many people struggle to remove these stains and often think that they need strong, harsh chemical cleaners to get rid of them effectively. However, there’s a better and more affordable way to go about cleaning a shower head with crusted on mineral build up. All you need is apple cider vinegar, a Ziploc bag, and a rubber band.
Simply pour some apple cider vinegar into the plastic bag and place it over and on the shower head. Use a rubber band to secure it in place and then leave it on overnight. Remove the baggy the following day, wipe the shower head clean, and it should be restored to its former glory!

In a spray bottle container mix together 2 parts isopropyl alcohol with 1 part water and then add in 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap. Shake it up, spray it directly onto an icy windshield, and watch the ice literally melt away right before your very eyes!
This rubbing alcohol spray is the perfect thing to have on hand for freezing cold mornings and icy windshields. You can leave the bottle in your car and it won’t even freeze, unless it gets well under zero. That’s because the freezing point of isopropyl alcohol is -128.2 degrees Fahrenheit, so when you spray it on the ice, it doesn’t freeze up. Instead, it helps to melt the ice and keeps it from re-freezing. Since all you have to do is mist it on, it’s by far the quickest and easiest way to clear a windshield that’s coated with a thick layer of ice.

4) Stop Wipers From Freezing to a Car Windshield- Take an old pair of long cotton socks and slide them over each wiper, puling it down as far as it can go or reaches. This will prevent wipers from freezing and/or sticking to the windshield, and makes life all the more easier.
5) Organize Winter Gear- Hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, hand warmers, neck warmers and all other winter accessories can be neatly stored in one accessible place with a shoe organizer. Hang it over a door and never search for lost gloves again.
6) Windshield Treatment- This one is the best! A combination of vinegar and water works wonders at preventing frost and ice from building up on car windshields and windows. Mix the two liquids up in a spray bottle, spritz it on car windows, then wipe off with a soft cloth.
7) Boot Tray- Keep floors safe, clean, and dry by making your own boot tray. This one is much more appealing than commercially available ones and works even better. Fill a large metal cookie sheet with a layer of decorative rocks and put it near the door so that when people enter they can immediately place wet boots on the rocks. The water will drip through the rocks to the bottom and soon evaporate. Use coffee filters to dust your car dashboard. Unlike cloth towels and paper towels, coffee filters won’t leave behind lint or just push dust around. Instead they work great at picking up dust and you can toss a few in the glove compartment for whenever you might need one to freshen up the dash.
Get streak free windows by cleaning them with newspaper. It’s the cloths and paper towels that leave streaks when you clean your windows so don’t even bother using them. Instead, spray down the window with cleaner and wipe it off with a piece of newspaper as you normally would.

This is one of the most incredible videos I have ever seen! I felt as if the man behind the camera was speaking for me, repeatedly pointing out how shocked he was by what he was witnessing. What in the world is it? It looks like a creature made of light hopping around in the clouds! My first reaction was disbelief.
I thought there must be some kind of trick, but the consistency of the light and its constantly changing movements convinced me of its authenticity. My second thought was, “I hope it’s a UFO!” There is some speculation that what we are witnessing is a rare phenomenon called “crown flashing.”
It happens when the ice crystals in the clouds align with the constantly shifting magnetic fields, caused by the electrical activity of a storm. A Giant Storm Brought Down This Big Tree. This Guy Slices Into It But Moments Later The Unthinkable Occurs!

Pretty much everyone at one point or another has had to deal with a tree that fell do to a storm or just died of natural causes. Sometimes they are on our property other times they are on the streets and worst of all sometimes they can fall and come crashing into our homes or apartments.
Getting rid of a downed tree is really not an easy job and most times you need to call in the big guns and get a profession to take care of the fallen tree. In the video below, it looks as if a tree has fallen over in somebody backyard, obliterating the families trampoline, and leaving a giant mess to clean up.
The man who is called in to take care of the job appears to be quite handy and professional with a chainsaw. At first everything was running completely smooth as he sliced into the fallen tree slice by slice. It was all fine and dandy until the guy somehow forgot about the laws of physics and nature.
Because all the branches of the tree were removed first, the tree trunk of the fallen tree didn’t have enough weight to balance evenly against the mass of the roots.
Suddenly the worst possible thing occurs as the magic tree unexpectedly rises from the dead and comes back to life! Luckily no one was hurt and they all had a good hardy laugh. But this could easily have become a dangerous and potentially fatal situation!
If you ever find yourself in the position where you need to clear a tree from your property, just make sure you really know what you are doing. If not bring in the professionals let them do their thing and spend the extra money to get the job done right.

There’s A New Danger At The Beaches This Year. It Looks Stunning But It Could Kill You!

What a cool looking creature! Turns out, the man o’ war is not a jellyfish, but actually a colony of little sneaksters that are attached and integrated so thoroughly that they can not live by themselves. At the surface of the ocean, the man o’ war floats through life, moving only by the force of currents and tides.
Strong winds may push them into bays and beaches, where they should be only looked upon and with caution. Where there is one man o’ war, there is many, but often an entire beach will be closed after the sighting of just one. Recently there has been a massive increase in numbers of Portuguese Man O’ War from Delaware to New York. When I was in sixth grade I spent a week in West Palm Beach, Florida with my friend and her dad. We stayed in a hotel on the beach where we spent everyday from sunrise to sunset in the outdoor pool. Entering the sunshine state mid Northeast Winter, we grew layers of blistering sun burns in the first part of the week.
We were so heat exhausted that my friend was vomiting up her daily grilled cheeses in the groomed poolside plants, and her father’s concern was that we were spending too much time in the pool, so he sent us to the beach. My friend and I reluctantly approached the beautiful ocean water and were delighted when we learned it was many degrees more comfortable than the Atlantic we were familiar with.
Promptly, I was thrashed with a wave across the face, which knocked my child body to the ground to be pummeled by undertow and exasperation. Then I felt it! An electric shock like whip along the side of my arm. I struggled to catch my breath through the inhaled salt water and looked down to see my forearm and hand red and inflamed.
My friend and I made our way back to the hotel pool where the lifeguard confirmed I had been stung by a man o’ war. The hero then sprayed my arm with cologne to soothe the welts and told us to go swim in pool.
Enjoy the beach this summer, but always stay aware of your surroundings. Keep your eye out for these beautiful but dangerous and potentially deadly creatures.

This King Cobra Is Holding Up Traffic. Then An Unexpected Surprise Snatches Him Off The Street!
King cobras have earned their fearsome reputation as a deadly snake whose bite contains enough venom to kill a man. In some cases, people have died less than thirty minutes after being bitten, and those who survive have reported that it’s extremely painful to endure. Even more astounding is the fact that their bite is capable of killing elephants in just a few hours. While king cobras usually prefer to avoid humans, contact with them is inevitable, as they can be found all across India and Southeast Asia.
One small, scrappy little mammal that has no fear of the deadly king cobra is the mongoose. They are very clever and are well known for their ability to fight snakes, particularly cobras, often winning and then eating them. Some species of mongoose are resistant to the neurotoxins found in snake venom which makes then a natural predator to the snakes, and explains this video.
In the short clip a king cobra has found a sunny spot to bask in on a warm paved road. The slinky snake has stopped traffic and people eagerly break out their cameras to film the deadly snake. Thankfully, in India they are protected and anyone found guilty of killing one can be sentenced up to 6 years in prison, so no one would dare run it over so publicly.
But that doesn’t mean the snakes out of danger because nearby its fiercest enemy lurks. A mongoose spots the snake, sees dinner, and advances towards it with no hesitation. The two battle each other, with the snake striking multiple times and the fast mongoose dodging and weaving his way around the assault. It soon ends and the mongoose emerges as the victor, carrying his cobra off the road with him so he can eat it in privacy.
I would never have thought the mongoose would win, or even be so brave. I guess a little knowledge goes a long way, and hope you learned as much as I did.

It Looks Like A Normal Beach But It’s Not. What Happened at :35 Left Me SPEECHLESS!
There’s nothing like a relaxing vacation by the beach with the family. Warm rays of sunshine, the relaxing rhythm of the water in the ocean, the sound of water splashing up against the vertical rocks in the distance, what more could you ask for? Especially when you are at an exotic location with a beautiful barrier reef to add to the drama of the setting. Most people in the video below figured they were in the perfect safe paradise where nothing could ever go wrong, however this stunning reef has a little secret.
The beautiful reef is called the Playa Puerto Nuevo in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. Vacationers were sitting, enjoying the peaceful, gorgeous beach when nature presented an awesome surprise. As if an act from the heavens above a giant wave all of a sudden breaches the mountains.
Watch this video to enjoy the magnificent moments that occur to the amazement of the vacationers. An enormous wave crosses over the barrier reef to be followed by several more spectacular ones. Enjoy this breathtaking moment of mother nature!
