Woman Mixes Flour Salt Oil and Kool-Aid and Then Warms It Up. When She’s Done AWESOME!
This is an old favorite DIY that’s worth revisiting now that summer is near. When the kids are off from school, and it’s a rainy day, you can never have too many really fun crafty projects for them to participate in. This video has an instructional, that will both save you money and double as a fun DIY to make with your kids.
The finished product is homemade PlayDoh; the beloved reusable form of clay has provided hours of entertainment for generations of children, for at least 6 decades. The downside and real expense of PlayDoh is that it dries quickly when not covered (which is often the case), becoming useless for further creations.
This DIY Play Doh recipe lasts longer and has a secret ingredient that gives it a variety of colors, makes it smell delicious, and keeps it non-toxic for the really little ones who still love to test things out by putting it in their mouths.
The secret ingredient? Kool-Aid!! The other ingredients are flour, salt, cream of tartar, warm water and vegetable oil. Gather these up and watch this simple-to-follow recipe that will provide you and your children endless hours of fun and creativity.

Woman Begins Gluing Twine To A Cereal Bowl. When She’s Done It’s STUNNING!
I don’t know about you, but one of my most relaxing activities, is looking through home decor catalogs and imagining different items in my home. Some of the smallest decor touches can completely change the vibe of a room. A certain decor can make or break a room. There is nothing like getting that perfect piece that completes the vibe of a room. What can make it even better is if you are the designer of the piece. That brings us to today’s DIY project!
This DIY video is one of the best I’ve come across. She uses items from the dollar store to create shocking replicas of Pottery Barn home decor items, with such ease, that it would be a crime to spend the money because of laziness. Plus, it really looks like a fun project!
For under $12 she creates a multi-mirror leather art piece, a twine nautical bowl, and a magnetic chalk dish that would have cost over $300 at Pottery Barn, and puts them together in 15 minutes! I kid you not. This is a DIY I’m actually trying today. If you decide to try any or all of these let us know how they came out. Have fun!

Man Pours Water Into This Diaper. But The Reason Is Genius!
So here’s an unlikely pairing…an adult sized diaper to organically promote healthy plant growth! How does this work? This video illustrates how, out of one diaper, 12 cups or more of hydrogel can be produced. When this is mixed with potting soil it literally creates a “super-soil”!
The soil/hydrogel mix produces super-absorbent soil that is capable of giving your plant the water it needs. Many of us kill our plants with over-watering. This mixture even prevents this from happening. It is ecologically and economically sound, as it both saves water and time. The gel is non-toxic.
It never fails to amaze me how such simple ideas are thought of, and produce such miraculous results. As a person who loves growing plants and seeming them thrive, I will certainly try this! Watch this really cool video and let us know whether you will try this.

This Lady Puts A Used Tea Bag On Her Wrist. It Seemed Weird But The Reason Is Brilliant!
Tea is second only to water for ranking among the top consumed beverages in the world. According to teausa.com, it can be found in almost 80% of all U.S. households and on any day over 158 million Americans drink it. It is by far the most versatile drink being served hot, cold, iced, plain, with add-ins, on all occasions, anytime, anywhere and anyplace. All that tea drinking adds up to tons of additional waste being dumped into landfills every year. However, as this video shows, there are lots of additional uses that used tea bags can be put to.
The most popular use happens to be beauty related. Many people refrigerate used tea bags and when cold place them on their eyes to reduce redness, puffiness, irritation, and to help decrease dark circles. Cold damp tea bags compressed on bruises, sunburns, bee stings, mosquito bites, and cold sores soothes the area, helps to reduce inflammation, and even promotes healing. Dry bags can be placed overnight inside of smelly shoes to deodorize and absorb any moisture.
Tea’s deodorizing aspects also work just as well in the refrigerator. All it takes is a few bags placed inside and you can skip the baking soda for good. Try throwing a few brewed bags in the sink with dirty dishes and leave them to soak overnight.
When you wash them the next day all the tough baked on grease should come off easily. The last video tip deals with keeping your house bug and rodent free by strategically placing tea bags in cupboards, the pantry, and corners. Minty teas work best because mice and bugs hate the smell.
There are hundreds of other uses not covered in the video. They include using tea bags in the garden, around the house, in the kitchen, for health, beauty, and cleaning. The list is inexhaustible and makes me wonder if there is anything that tea can’t be used for, or on, or with! Get that extra mile out of them and in the future re-purpose tea bags before you throw them out.

Woman Places Ice In The Dryer. The Reason For This Life Hack Is Brilliant.
Some people spend time ironing their shirts, while others send them to be pressed at the dry cleaner or laundry. Wouldn’t it be great to have a trick for those things that don’t require dry cleaning to have a time-saving less expensive solution?
Well the good news is there is! This trick does all the work for you in five minutes so that you can get other things done in the rush of a mornings pre-work routine. This woman shows you how easily you can have a beautifully de-wrinkled shirt.
She simply sets her dryer on “high” heat, after she throws in a handful of ice cubes! The effect is that the moisture from the cubes steams out the wrinkles. This can also be done with a wet washcloth, but you may get a faster result with the ice cubes. Give it a try and let us know whether you get as good a result as she did.
