As I cannot even stand up on ice skates, I have an admiration for professional ice skaters that goes beyond words. Particularly when I have watched pair skating in the Olympics, I’ve been amazed at how each movement is timed with such incredible accuracy.
When I watched the video you are about to view below, I was awe-inspired by the fact that 16 skaters were capable of synchronizing their graceful movements with such exactitude. I truly have never seen anything like this magical footage.
The skating team is Canadian, and call themselves Nexxice. The following performance, skated to the song “Mud” by the Road Hammers, won them the gold medal at the 2015 World Synchronized Skating Championship.

It Looks Like A Normal Painting Of a Wolf. But When I Saw The Truth I Was Blown Away!
Look closely as you watch this video of a wolf howling towards the sky as snow swirls down in the backdrop. Its head is tilted back as it calls out its wolf song and gusts of wind can be heard in the lonely scene. Do you notice anything in particular that stands out or is different about this wolf?
If you haven’t realized it yet, keep watching as the secret is revealed about 20 seconds into the short clip! That’s when a person peels off from the animal’s back, gets up and walks away, showing that the wolf is actually three people painted and posed to look exactly like their wild counterpart found in nature!
The artist who created this piece, titled “The Wolf,” is Johannes Stötter. He’s a master at creating hyper-realistic optical illusions out of just two basic mediums; human models and body paint. Stötter begins by expertly painting extremely realistic details and attributes onto either one or several model’s bodies. He then positions and poses them in a very precise and exact arrangement. By doing this he’s able to trick the viewer into believing that they are looking at a photo or video that was captured by a professional in the wild.
At first glance his images appear to be straightforward, it’s only upon closer inspection that one realizes the picture is actually several models. It’s amazing and crazy how real-life spot on he’s able to make his pieces look!
Part of the magic behind the visual trickery on display in Stötter’s work has to do with optical illusions, which are all about the eyes-brain-perception connection. The eyes visually perceive an image which the brain processes as not fitting in line or matching the stimulus source that it’s coming from. Basically, it’s when you look at something and end up seeing something else completely different, so you look at X but think you’re seeing Y. Generally speaking, there’s all sorts of different types of illusions but optical ones, aka visual illusions, happen to be best known sub-category and this wolf piece is a great example of one.
Stötter’s work has made him world famous and it’s clear to see that he truly has a unique gift. An Old Woman At A Bus Stop Sits Down And Begins Playing The Piano. Seconds Later My Jaw Dropped!
People are standing at a bus stop, in the humdrum of their lives, when something really extraordinary occurs. Someone has left an old piano on the street where they are waiting. An old woman, walking with a walker, lingers. She has scraggly gray long hair; perhaps she is homeless.
Whatever her lot in life, within her lies something so beautiful, it is astounding! She steps away from her walker and sits on the piano bench. She lifts her arthritic fingers to the keyboard and she is transformed. Those fingers lightly touch the keys as she begins to play, and as you watch this you can’t help but wonder what is going to happen.
Her light touch begins to build, as the fluidity of her playing astounds those watching. She is no longer old and frail, but a young woman whose talent has laid dormant for many years. Her playing is so remarkable that I found myself holding my breath as I watched and listened.
Who was she? Had she been a professional musician? Perhaps we will never know her story, but it is certain that music brings her alive! It is deeply imbedded in her soul, and given this unexpected opportunity, it poured out of her. Her performance was nothing short of magical! The people listening were blown away, and you will be too.

This Tahitian Woman Walks Onto The Floor. But When The Music Starts I’m Blown Away!
Watching a talented dancer perform is electrifying, when it is a dance form that is particular to a culture, that we are unaccustomed to witnessing. It not only entertains, but invites us into a particular ritual that represents an aspect of that culture, which has existed for centuries.
In the video you are about to watch below, you are about to view a beautiful Tahitian dancer, Melanie Amen, perform the traditional dance for women known as the “Hura”. Much of the movement of this dance occurs in the hip area in ways that seem incomprehensible; Melanie is one of the world’s outstanding dancers of this art form.
Surprisingly, this 19-year-old pro at this Tahitian dance, is actually from Stockton, California. She began dancing as a tiny toddler and was competing in this dance form by the age of five! Traveling to compete against native Tahitians, she beat over a dozen finalists in 2016, at the Ori Tahiti Nui World Dance Championship in Tahiti! The footage you are about to watch will show you why this young woman is such a star; this competition occurred in California, where once again she took FIRST PLACE! Watching her is awe-inspiring…it is hard to believe that the human body is capable of such intricate and exotic movement.
