He Sprinkles Salt Into This Bowl Of Ice Then Places A Can Of Soda In It. The Reason Is Brilliant
Nothing is as refreshing as an ice cold beverage on a hot summer day. And nothing is as disgusting as chugging a can of warm soda or beer that you thought was cold. Well, chugging a hot can of something would be worse, but you get the point. This summer, if you find yourself stuck with warm cans or bottles that you want to drink sooner rather than later, try this trick from DaveHax. He shows us how to quickly bring a beverage’s temperature down from warm to cool by using 4 things that are in most everyone’s kitchen. All you need is a bowl, ice, water and salt, plus a warm beverage.
Put some water in a bowl then add about 1-2 tray fulls of ice to it. Sprinkle on a couple of tablespoons of regular old salt and mix it all up. Now place a can or two in the bowl, stir after one minute, and after 2 minutes the can will be cold. Take the can out of the bowl, open, drink, and enjoy!
DaveHax explained the science behind this bevy hack by attributing it to the second law of thermodynamics, which states that 2 substances with different temperatures reach thermal equilibrium over time. He said that the salt causes the ice to melt faster but it needs to draw heat energy from somewhere, wherever it is possible and present, to do so. Here it was from the warm can.
Thus, the can rapidly cooled down as the salt melted the ice even faster than it normally would have. The 2 different temperature things, the lemonade can and the ice, transferred their heat and cold to one another as they went towards thermal equilibrium, with the salt added to speed it up.
The temperature change was measured and shown to us in the video to prove the point. The lemonade started at a room temperature of 75 degrees Fahrenheit/24 degrees Celsius. After it chilled the can temperature measured 41F/5C, which means it dropped down a total of 34F/19C in just 2 minutes.
This method works great with soda, beer, juices and any other drinks that come in a can or bottle. It works wonders for all those people out there who hate waiting over half an hour or more for a drink to cool down in the fridge, or those like myself, who are just impatient. Now you can quench your thirst in minutes with a delicious ice cold beverage and skip the painful wait!

Woman Places Ice In The Dryer. The Reason For This Life Hack Is Brilliant.
Some people spend time ironing their shirts, while others send them to be pressed at the dry cleaner or laundry. Wouldn’t it be great to have a trick for those things that don’t require dry cleaning to have a time-saving less expensive solution?
Well the good news is there is! This trick does all the work for you in five minutes so that you can get other things done in the rush of a mornings pre-work routine. This woman shows you how easily you can have a beautifully de-wrinkled shirt.
She simply sets her dryer on “high” heat, after she throws in a handful of ice cubes! The effect is that the moisture from the cubes steams out the wrinkles. This can also be done with a wet washcloth, but you may get a faster result with the ice cubes. Give it a try and let us know whether you get as good a result as she did.

If You Put An Ice Cube On This Spot 1x a Day For a Month These Are The Health Benefits For Your Body
Both ancient and contemporary medicine involve switching on certain bodily mechanisms with the aim of having it heal and improve itself naturally. The pills and lasers of today are the modern day equivalent of things like crystals and reiki from yesterday.
All of these types of practices, therapies, medicines, and so on center around activating a response from within us in hopes of altering or ameliorating our health for the better.
Ever since mankind has existed people have been engaged in relentless pursuits for miracle cures and anti-aging potions. The endless stream of creams, lotions, tonics, diets, treatments, and more are proof of this and while they often promise the world, they rarely ever deliver.
Rather than wasting your time and hard earned money on some disappointing product that was marketed specifically towards you, try ice point therapy. It’s an easy, all-natural, and affordable approach to optimizing your health and well-being. Here’s how to do it:
Gather together an ice cube and a towel then begin by laying flat on your stomach. Find a comfortable position and relax before placing the towel under your head and chin. Next, place the ice cube on the back of your neck at the base of your skull and if you need a better idea of exactly where to situate it, refer to the accompanying video.
Allow the ice cube to sit there and slowly melt for at least 20 minutes and then use the towel to clean up the water. Ice point therapy works best when it’s done every day in the morning on an empty stomach, and again in the evening right before you go to bed.
This alternative healing method has been practiced for thousands of years. It’s derived from ancient Chinese medicine and is related closely to acupuncture and acupressure. The precise point that it revolves around, where your head and neck meet at the base of your skull, is known as the Feng Fu point.
When ice is applied to the point it has an energizing effect. People report feeling younger, more refreshed, and clear headed after just a few applications. Furthermore, the Feng Fu point is also believed to promote the following health benefits:
– Improved mood – Better sleep – Relief from common colds – Reduced thyroid issues – Headache and migraine pain relief – Toothache relief – Alleviates – PMS symptoms – Reduced risks associated with lung and cardiovascular diseases
In the end, a simple cube of ice can give you a boost of energy and help you stay healthy. Try it for a month straight and see if you notice a difference in your life. Who knows, it might just be the answer you’ve been looking for! Watch the video below for more information:

She Puts A Pair Of Shoes In The Freezer. The Reason Is Brilliant!
Have you ever had shoes that were too tight to wear comfortably for extended periods of time but you wore them anyway because they were cute or matched the occasion perfectly? Nothing is worse than suffering through the pain and discomfort that shoes too small can cause. Even if the pair “sorta” fit there is a trick you can do to get that extra breathing room and increase your toe space. Best of all it is simple, cheap and quick to do.
Simply take 2 plastic sandwich bags and fill each one a quarter of the way with water, put one in each shoe and place the shoes in your freezer. Leave them there long enough for the water to fully freeze before taking them out. The video suggests waiting 20 minutes for the ice to thaw a bit before taking the bags out of the shoes.
However, you can also break the ice with the end of a knife or utensil and avoid any potential damage the melting bags could cause, or even wiggle out the ice bag. Make sure you wipe off any water or residual moisture and try on the shoes to see how they now fit. If they need to be stretched more, simply repeat the process.
When water freezes and turns from liquid to solid it expands. The baggie filled with water stretches your shoe as the water becomes ice. Be careful to not over stuff your shoes because it could tear them.
This method works best on real leather but can also be used on fake leather and man-made materials. However, if you are going to use it on fake leather you will likely have to repeat this process several times because it tends to shrink back to it’s original shape.
In the end your shoes can be stretched out half of a size up to potentially one whole size. It is also a great way to break in a new pair of shoes quickly and painlessly. Your feet will thank you for the extra room and comfort.
On a related note, freezing shoes can also get rid of smelly odors. Put the shoes in a sealed bag and place them in the freezer. The cold temperature of the freezer will kill any odor causing bacteria. Also, if you step in gum toss your shoe in the freezer so that you can easily chip it off. The possibilities of freezing shoes are seemingly endless.

Apparently If You Throw a Bucket Of Dry Ice In a Pool THIS Happens!
One of YouTube’s favorite personalities, the Crazy Russian Hacker, has come up with another awesome experiment yet again! This time around he decided to see what would happen when about thirty pounds of dry ice gets dumped straight into a swimming pool. Let’s just say that the results were nothing short of spectacular!
For this trick the Crazy Russian started out poolside with one empty cooler, one pair of insulated gloves, and a bunch of bags of dry ice. Once the gloves were safely on both hands he got to work breaking up the blocks of ice into the cooler. Dry ice is basically super-frozen carbon dioxide, the gas we exhale when we breathe out. It forms when carbon dioxide is exposed to extreme temperatures of at least -109° Fahrenheit, which cause it to change from a gas straight into a solid, there’s no liquid phase in between. The inverse of this change is also true, when dry ice melts it goes from solid to gas. That’s what produces the foggy, cloud-like effects it’s known for.
When it came time for the moment of truth he picked up the plastic container filled with 30 pounds of dry ice and flung it all into the pool! The reaction was immediate. As the warm water began to break down and melt the dry ice it produced a thick, dense white fog that drifted up and away in the breeze. You can hear the water bubbling as the gas gets released and at about the 2 minute mark the camera focuses in on the effect. All the while you can hear the Crazy Russian Hacker in the background talking about how “amazing” “beautiful” and “so awesome” it all turned out to be. He’s just as entertaining, if not more, than the dry ice in the pool!
While the thought of that much dry ice in a pool sounds kind of dangerous, don’t worry, it’s actually quite safe if proper precautions are taken. The main thing you never want to do is handle it with your bare hands, always use insulated gloves. They will prevent hands and skin from getting injured and burned by frostbite which occurs on contact with the stuff. Also, if you plan on breaking it up like the Crazy Russian Hacker did in this clip, use protective eye wear as well. Better to be safe than sorry!
If you ever want to kick a pool party up a notch, dry ice is one way to go about it. People will love the cool effects and chances are they haven’t seen anything like this done before so they’ll remember it forever.
