Parents each and every day take a leap of faith, when leaving their children with a babysitter. We check references and do everything possible to ensure that the person we are hiring is responsible. Heather Clark did just that, when she left her 7-month-old son, Lukas, with a babysitter she had faith in. Tragedy struck when Lukas was crying for a prolonged period of time; the babysitter’s boyfriend shook him so hard that he stopped breathing. 9-1-1 was called, little Lucas was taken to Montclair Hospital Medical Center, but then needed to be transferred to Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital where he was declared brain dead.
The devastation Heather suffered was beyond imagination, but somehow in her unbearable grief she was able to make an incredibly selfless decision, to donate Lukas’ organs to other children. Three children were the recipients of his organs, including one little girl who was born with congenital heart disease. Jordan Drake had spent most of her young existence in the hospital, clinging to life with the hope of one day receiving a heart that would offer her a chance to grow up.
Lukas’ heart was a perfect match, which saved Jordan’s life. The video you are about to watch below, occurs a few years after the transplant.
What you will witness is both heartbreaking and heartwarming, as little Jordan and her mother meet Heather for the first time. Overcome with emotion, Heather takes a stethoscope and listens to Lukas’ heart beating in Jordan’s chest. This was so overwhelmingly emotional, as was the gift they gave to this wonderful mother, who so selflessly wanted to turn her tragedy into a chance to save other children; it gave her solace to know that she might be sparing other parents the unbearable suffering of losing a child. They had a Build-A-Bear made with a recording of Lukas’ heartbeat contained inside of it, for Heather to keep forever. Watching these generous and loving human beings, will truly restore your faith, that there is so much goodness still out there in this world.

The average fast food worker gets paid minimum wage and works long hours. They have to serve a variety of customers and cater to their demands. At some locations workers regularly wait on homeless people and oftentimes they only have a dollar or two to spend on what could be the only food they’ll eat all day. Such was the case at the Burger King where Matthew Resendez worked. It was located in the not so affluent part of town and so homeless people would frequent the place.
One evening while Matthew was working at the counter a scruffy looking man approached him. After asking what he could get for 50 cents, which would be nothing, Matthew did something completely unexpected. He rang up the most expensive item on the menu and then paid for it himself out of his own pocket. Naturally, the hungry homeless man was grateful and super happy that he got a big meal for free, all thanks to the kindness of a stranger’s heart. Not only that, Matthew also sat down with the man and kept him company while he ate.
A fellow diner who was also eating at Burger King that night and who had witnessed the selfless transaction went up to Matthew afterwards. The woman handed him a $100 bill as a tip or reward of sorts for being so kind and generous to the homeless man. Not only did she gift him money, she also wrote a letter to Burger King, letting the corporation know that they had an upstanding and truly caring employee working for them.
When Matthew got home later that night, he told his mother what had happened. While she knew he was a good kid, it was still quite unexpected. Her heart was swelling with pride at the kind gesture and so she decided to share his story, and a picture she’d taken of him in his Burger King uniform smiling and holding up the $100 bill, on Facebook. The post quickly went viral because people were simply glad to see such a happy, positive story. It gave them a feeling of hope and who doesn’t love a feel-good story?
It’s often said that the homeless are invisible, but for this man at that moment he wasn’t, all thanks to Matthew.

Elderly Granny Notices 4 Strange Boys On Her Property. When She Realizes What They’re Doing She’s STUNNED!

Throughout America cities and communities have enacted rules and regulations regarding the upkeep of residential properties. If you’ve ever lived in a place with a HOA, homeowners association, then you probably now how strict and picky they can be. Many of the bylaws on the books encompass people’s lawns and what is or is not allowed can vary greatly depending on where you live. For the most part, any yard that is overgrown, dead, or looks neglected will generally fall afoul of the rules and that’s when local officials may take action against the property owner.
For the past fifty nine years 75 year old Gerry Suttle had lived in her home in the small town of Reisel, Texas. She had recently been issued a notice to appear in court before a judge because the grass on a lot she owns across the street was found to be in violation of the city code. Several weeks before the notice was sent officials had measured the grass on that property and it came in at 18 inches high, which was too long and broke the rules.
When Miss Suttle failed to appear in court a warrant was issued for her arrest which drew the attention of the local news. In an interview with the reporter she told them that she had never even received the notice in the first place and that’s why she missed the court date.
The next day Miss Suttle was inside her house when she looked up and saw four young boys outside carting lawn equipment in the hot Texas sun. They had seen her on the news the evening before and wanted to help. The boys, all brothers, couldn’t believe that a 75 year old woman was at risk of being arrested and jailed for something as petty as not mowing the grass on a property she owned. One of the boys, Blaine Reynolds, one of the bothers, insisted it was the very least they could do.
The brothers got right down to it and started to cut the grass. The lot was quite large, and they knew it would take a while because all they had were push mowers and the temperature was well over 90 degrees. Seeing what was happening, some neighbors nearby were inspired to act. Several came over with riding mowers and that turned out to be a major help. Two hours later the lawn had been fully mowed and the lot was now in compliance.
Watching on, Miss Suttle was blown away by the kindness of the boys. They were strangers who helped her out without expecting anything in return and the simple act of mowing the lawn restored her faith in young people.
The next day authorities informed her that if she just went to the courthouse and signed some papers indicating that she didn’t receive the original notice to appear, the warrant would be dropped. However, before she could even do that, she received yet another court summons the following day. Municipal officials had disallowed all the hard work the boys and her neighbors had done, but this time she decided to fight the alleged violation of city code.
Upon hearing that Miss Suttle would have to go to court, the boys said they’d be more than willing and happy to mow the lawn again in order to help her out. After all, she’s 75 years old and no one would want their mother or grandmother doing hard yard work in the extreme Texas heat. Perhaps the municipality can find a better way of working with her on the issue and back down from threatening to arrest her over the length of the grass!

Cow Cries Thinking She’s Going To Slaughterhouse But She’s Being Saved and Gets Freedom For The First Time

Emma the dairy cow was acting nervous and rightly so. Earlier in the day she had been loaded onto a trailer and driven for miles to a destination that was wholly foreign to her, a place called the Kuhrettung Rhein-Berg Sanctuary in Germany. The dairy farm which she’d called home her whole life had recently closed down, and before rescuers stepped in, she’d originally been headed to the slaughterhouse. Although the dairy farm wasn’t a slaughterhouse the conditions were absolutely terrible and poor Emma the cow thought she was going from bad to worse..
When Emma first started her journey she was terrified as her life was suddenly turned completely upside down. At the start of the video, as she’s being placed in the strange trailer, she can be seen crying visible tears of sadness and fear. It’s heartbreaking to witness, but thankfully not for long. I honestly did not know that cows could actually cry. Seeing this beautiful creature in such a state of fear and sadness truly tore me up inside.
However, once she arrived at the animal sanctuary Emma was released into an open, spacious pasture filled with green grass, rolling hills, and lots of other cows. Watching her take these first steps of freedom and her new life is just such a joy to witness! She cautiously made her way into her new home and before long a few of the other cows came up to greet her.
They all took turns sniffing and checking each other out and soon had enthusiastically surrounded her. It’s amazing and as if they were all reassuring Emma that everything was going to be just fine. By the end of the video it looks like Emma has quickly been accepted into her new family and the group goes running off happily into the field. What started out as a terrifying ordeal ended in the best way possible.
Thanks to a group of dedicated people Emma was not slaughtered but instead was brought to the Kuhrettung Rhein-Berg Sanctuary in Germany to live. The group rescues dairy cows and retires them to a former farm where they can naturally live out the rest of their days. These people are truly human angels with hearts filled with infinite love and care.
Prior to her arrival at the sanctuary, Emma’s life was anything but natural. Cows are best known for producing milk and all of the associated dairy products. In order to make that milk a cow must become pregnant and give birth to a calf, whom it will nurse. However, in the dairy industry young calves are taken away from their mothers shortly after birth so that the milk can instead be collected for human consumption.
This separation of mother and child is done early on in an effort to cause minimal stress to both, but it’s also done repeatedly in order to keep cows producing milk. Cows like Emma who end up at the sanctuary are retired, in that they’re no longer impregnated and therefore don’t produce any more milk.
Fortunately for Emma and all of the other rescued dairy cows, they get to stay on the farm sanctuary. Her life has changed dramatically for the better and now she’s able to live alongside other happy cows and can do all the normal, natural things that cows love do. It’s a happy ending that she, and countless others like her, deserve.

This Grandma Starts Running In The Rain. When I Found Out The Reason I Broke Down

When you’re young and innocent playing in the rain is a fun and enjoyable experience. When you grow older, getting caught in the rain is oftentimes an annoying inconvenience. The once spontaneous and refreshing feeling of being outside under falling skies fades for most people, as they age and take on more and more responsibilities.
We often forget the fact that getting a little wet really isn’t all that bad and before you know it you end up drying off. This incredible short film, “Light Rain,” is based on a true story written by Bob Perks. It serves as a simple and symbolic reminder for people to put things into perspective and to not be so scared of life.
The film, uploaded to YouTube channel imageynation, was directed by Neil Horner and produced by Stephanie Wrate. In the creator’s own words, they sought to remind us “of the need to avoid becoming weighed down by the trivial hindrances that soak our paths on a daily basis.”
In the video all the people are huddled together out of the rain, waiting for it to end so they can resume their days. A mother and her child are among the group and the little girl wants to run in the rain, but her mom is against the idea.
Then the girl says something that makes everyone stop and listen, it gets them thinking and puts whatever thoughts that may have had running through their minds into a new perspective. Moments later the somber scene suddenly changes and everyone breaks free.

This Guy’s 101-Year-Old Mom Forced Him To Stop The Car Because She Saw Something and Decided To Do THIS

There is something about a beautiful winter snowfall that brings out the inner child in all of us. A fresh coating of snow instinctively draws people in and beckons them to play with the cold glittery flakes. This seems to ring true for a lot of people, and if you’re one of them then you’ll appreciate this heart warming video.
The sweet moment was captured by Armand Foisy when he was recently traveling through the countryside with his mother, who is 101 years young! The pair had been in town on a rainy day and could see that further up in the mountains it had began to snow. They decided to go check it out and hopped in the car. As they made their way up the windy mountain road the snow began to come down heavily and the roads were quickly becoming treacherous, so Armand decided to turn the car around and head back. He pulled off onto the side of the road to swing the car around and just as he was about to get back on his mother opened the car door and got out.
The magic of the falling snow had drawn her in and proved too beautiful and tempting to ignore. Armand’s mother wanted to experience the weather firsthand and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have a little fun in the winter wonderland landscape they were in. Knowing that this was a special moment, Armand grabbed his camera and captured it for memories sake. Thankfully he decided to share it with the world because this video is awesome and a pleasure to view.
Watching his mother play in the snow, as if she were a little girl again, is wonderful to witness. It brings back memories and it made me nostalgic when she gingerly bent down to pick up a handful of snow and started to pack it into a perfect snowball. Then, with a smile lighting up her face, she threw it over the side of the bank and into the woods. The whole time she looked absolutely thrilled and delighted to be out in the snow. It goes to show that for some people age is just a number. If you feel young at heart, like Armand’s 101 year old mother, you can live life to the fullest and always find beauty in the smallest and simplest of things.
