Husband Came Home To His Wife Wearing Her Wedding Dress. His Reaction Is Priceless!
Here is a story that will warm your heart during these cold winter days. After seven memorable years of marriage Chrissy and her husband Brian were coming up on their wedding anniversary. However, they both had to work on the actual date and would not be seeing each other. Not wanting to miss out on it, Chrissy thought up a last minute surprise for her husband that he is sure to never forget.
While Brian ran to the store with their daughter she dug out her wedding dress and grabbed a bouquet of flowers. She had the song “Shine Your Light” by Robbie Robertson ready to play and explained “I picked this song because he is a firefighter and it is one of “our” songs since we heard it years ago in the movie Ladder 49.”
As Brian walks up to the door she cues her child to play the song and stands smiling, clearly excited and happy to surprise him. She has the camera rolling to catch the moment and when Brian walks in he seems lost for words and can only gaze at her, seemingly awestruck at the sight of his blushing bride. They exchange knowing smiles before he crosses the room to embrace her in a sweet hug while the kids look on delighted.
This story perfectly illustrates that you do not need expensive jewelry, flowers, chocolates or other material things to show your love. The most heartfelt moments are often inspired by family, friends, and the simple desire to create a lasting memory. Crissy included her children, the element of surprise and the vision of her from the day they got married. With all this set to a meaningful soundtrack it created a flawless anniversary surprise.

Wife Was Sick Of Her Husband and His iPad Addiction. Her Solution Is Brilliant!
Tablets first appeared in works of science fiction in the second half of the 20th century, with Arthur C. Clarke’s NewsPad, then in 1968 in ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’ the Calculater Pad, in Douglas Adams’s ‘The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and in Gene Roddenberry’s Star Trek series. Then life started to imitate art and companies began releasing prototypes of the first ‘pads’.
Many prototypes hit the market in the late 80’s, the 90’s and 2000’s. Then in 2010 Apple is usually credited with defining the market with a new device they named the iPad. After this tablets became mainstream and we began seeing them everywhere. Source: Wikipedia

Video: These Elephants Always Gather To Hug This Woman. The Reason Tore My Heart Up!
Whenever we hear stories about orphanages there is a good chance it is going to pull at your heart strings. The video below is no exception, even though the elephants in this video have gone on to live happy lives. The orphans all come from East Africa and were abandoned when they were less than 2 years of age. With the price of ivory increasing, more and more elephants are being killed and their orphaned babies are being left alone and in need of care.
The orphanage is in Kenya and has been around for over 30 years. The elephant sanctuary is huge and it has to be, in order to accommodate these majestic animals. Each elephant has their own private room/dormitory. There is also a group bathing area, dining area, and a fun playground.
There are usually 14 orphans at the sanctuary at one time, and they usually spend a few years there until they are reintroduced to the bush. CEO and head nurse Daphne Sheldrick founded the orphanage and has been working with these animals for over 50 years. What Daphne and the crew do for these elephants is truly incredible.

Father Boils Crayons and Runs Them Through a Spaghetti Strainer. But When He’s Done AMAZING!
Just about every household in America, especially those with young kids, has a box of crayons laying around somewhere. The colorful wax sticks are a childhood staple, who doesn’t remember doodling and coloring for hours on end!
Parents also love crayons because they’re non-toxic, inexpensive, and less messy or permanent than paint or markers. They also never become unusable or dry up, which is half the reason why they usually end up somewhere in a box that gets put away and forgotten.
One man realized how crayons often sit around unused, collecting dust for years before eventually being tossed out in the trash, and decided to put them to a better use.
His name is Brian Ware and he started The Crayon Initiative at his house in Northern California. The program collects unwanted crayons from area schools and restaurants and recycles them into new and improved ones.
Once the crayons are collected in bulk they get sorted by color and melted down in large pots. The wax is then strained and poured into molds that Brian fashioned himself in order to make the crayons bigger than their original shape.
The new up-cycled crayons are finally boxed up and sent out to local hospitals where they are distributed to children recovering from surgery or treatment.
The Crayon Initiative has grown in scope size and it takes a small army of volunteers to sort through them all and melt, box, and distribute them. Brian estimates that on an average day they go through about 4,000 crayons!
Stacks of boxes filled with donated crayons take up space in his house and everyday new boxes arrive. Recently 100 volunteers gathered to help sort and process them and as you can see in this NBC Nightly News video, it’s no small task.
The children who end up with the crayons are thankful for the small gift. Some are recovering from surgery or illness, others are receiving treatments or have special needs, but they all want a distraction and something to keep their minds occupied.
The children interviewed in the news segment say that coloring helps them stay focused, positive, and less stressed. It gives them a creative outlet that’s therapeutic in a way and helps to keep their minds off of the pain and situation they’re in.
If you’ve ever stayed in a hospital then you know how boring and stifling the experience can be. Getting a box of crayons would brighten anyone’s day, especially kids, since it gives them something to do for hours one end, it’s perfect.
If this story doesn’t give you a reason to pull those old crayons out of storage and put them to good use again, nothing ever will! To learn more about The Crayon Initiative you can find them online at thecrayoninitiative.org, and they are on Facebook and Twitter as well.

A Hospice Employee Steps Towards This Dying Lady. Then The Camera Caught This.
The grief that families go through, when a beloved family member needs hospice care, is emotionally wrenching. Although the people who go into hospice care are very well trained, and are generally unusually compassionate and exceptionally capable of giving comfort to the gravely ill, many relatives hesitate as they have heard horror stories.
We are putting our loved ones into the hands of strangers when they are in a physically helpless state, and taking a leap of faith that they will be given empathic and tender care. Unfortunately, what we hear on the news are often horrible stories of abuse, but thankfully those instances are more the exception than the rule. Hospice care workers are usually exceptional people.
In the incredible video you are about to watch below, footage of the actions of hospice nurse, Josh Woodward, is caught by the camera placed in the patients’ rooms at the Austinburg Nursing & Rehab Center in Austinburg, Ohio. Mary Redmond, who had been a voice and piano teacher to many young students over the years, had become gravely ill and required hospice support. When Josh was doing rounds, he immediately recognized her face…he had been her student when he was just 9 years old! She taught him to sing and play piano, and when he recognized her he was so excited, and felt the need to thank her for all she had done for him. What he does for her each day is caught in this footage that will restore your faith in the goodness of mankind…MAYBE ANGELS DO EXIST!
