After You See What They Pull Out Of This Sea Turtle’s Nose You Will Never Litter Again!
Off the pacific coast of Costa Rica, a team of marine biologists who were researching turtles, brought a grown, male olive ridley sea turtle aboard their boat. They were shocked to find something stuck inside his left nostril which they believed to be a worm of some kind.
Seeing that the turtle’s breathing was impeded they proceeded to attempt to dislodge it as carefully as possible. They were concerned that perhaps this worm had lodged into the turtle’s brain stem. Feeling that they had no choice but to dislodge it, in order to save the turtle’s life, they were really concerned that moving it the wrong way could also end in it’s demise.
After working on it’s removal for several minutes they cut off a piece of it to discern what it actually was. They were shocked and angered to discover that it was not anything organic. Rather it was something completely man-made and a result of improper recycling that is contaminating our oceans and endangering sea life.
After nearly 8 minutes of carefully pulling at the lodged object, they pulled out a 10-12 inch plastic drinking straw! Unfortunately they had nothing to sedate the turtle, so the procedure was painful. The video of this quickly went viral on YouTube, getting nearly 5 million views. “For the turtle, the wound would have been fatal had we left the plastic inside its nostril,” reported one of the researchers.
This video, although disturbing, luckily saved this turtle’s life. There are many plastic objects, like straws, that get lodged in sea animals, which ultimately kill them. The team disinfected the hole where the straw had been, and were forced by law to release the turtle back into the wild.
The footage is graphic but is important to watch. It illustrates well the potential life-threatening consequences of the tons of garbage that ends up in the sea. “We disinfected the air passageway with iodine and kept the turtle for observation before releasing him back into the wild,” the team reported on YouTube.
“The bleeding stopped pretty much immediately after the removal of the straw.” The good news is that this turtle’s life was saved. The next time you think about littering remember this turtle and think twice. Help spread this lucky turtle’s story so others can understand.

Burglars Break Into Their House And Attempt To Steal The Baby. But They Never Expected THIS Karma
These days you often hear only bad things about pit bulls and the negative reputation attached to the breed follows them everywhere. People automatically assume that all pit bull dogs are violent, unpredictable, and aggressive animals.
This type of mindset is wrong, not every pit bull is dangerous or waiting to snap, and there are more good ones than bad. If you treat dogs with love, compassion, respect, and train them right, they can make loving and loyal family pets.
One family knows this well. Their two pit bulls came to the rescue when they sensed danger and stopped a pair of criminals in their tracks, literally. Nayeli Garzon-Jimenez was home alone watching her 3 month old baby when a man and a woman suddenly broke into her house.
Nayeli was on the phone with her husband Adolfo Angeles-Morales at the time, and told him someone was in the house. He stayed on the line and listened helplessly as the drama unfolded on the other end.
The man who broke in was armed with a gun. He pointed it at Nayeli and demanded money, or else they would take her baby. She told them she had no money on her at the moment and that is when the woman grabbed her baby out of her arms.
Nayeli desperately tried to get her infant back and fought with the woman, grabbing her shirt and holding her back, but the man hit her hard on the head with the gun and the woman go away. She ran with the baby towards the rear door in an attempt to escape through the backyard, and bumped straight into the family’s 2 pit bulls.
Alerted to the danger of the quickly unfolding situation, and likely sensing the baby snatchers evilness, the dogs stood firmly in the way and blocked the woman’s path. If she was going to try and get through the back yard she’d have to go through them first.
Knowing she was no match for two strong dogs who could sense her fear, the woman turned and fled towards the front door instead. Thankfully, in her panic and blind attempt to escape from the pit bulls, she tossed the poor innocent infant back to her mother on the way out.
When it was all over, Nayeli was left battered and bruised from being hit with the gun. However, her baby was unharmed and safely back where she belonged, in her mother’s loving arms. This story could have had a very different, and much sadder, ending if not for the families two alert pit bulls.
They selflessly stood up to the criminals, defended both their family and home, and stopped the would be baby snatchers from getting away with a heinous crime. The dogs definitely saved the day!

She Spots A Helpless Fox Being Attacked By A Pack Of Hounds. Her Reaction Puts Her Life At Risk!
Men in dashing red coats and fancy riding gear looked very elegant on their beautiful horses, who’s tails had been tied in what looked like french braids, were about to go on a hunt. The scene could have been out of a movie staged in the 1700’s.
In fact, it was a fox hunt about to commence in Britain, that was current. Fox hunting has been outlawed in Britain, but despite this ban it still goes on in aristocratic circles (in this video), with many foxes being killed. Fox hunting occurs with dogs.
In this video the Old Berks Fox Hounds were being tracked by a group called Hunt Monitors. Animal welfare activists and hunters often clash, as this activity that is so gruesome, continues. As the fox hounds spot a fox and go in for an attack, about to maul the fox to death, a woman emerges screaming for them to stop!
Risking her own life, she runs into this very dangerous group of hounds in the midst of their attack, desperately screaming as she tries to save the fox from certain death. This monitor certainly could have been badly injured or killed herself both by the dogs, and even the fox itself, who was terrified, having been surrounded and bowled over onto her back.
With her stomach exposed the savage killing was about to commence, had this brave woman not risked her own safety to whisk the terrified fox to safety. The dogs were about to maul the poor animal to death. She was in fact bitten by the fox whom she had snatched to safety! Impervious to her own well being, she cradles the animal and runs screaming for help to her fellow monitor’s car, to get the fox to safety.
It was reported that the fox was checked by a vet, and no serious dog bites were found. The Hunt Monitors went on to say that after rehabilitation, this fox was brought to an area in which it would be safe from the hunters. Watching this scene unfold in this video, was somewhat surreal.
The “elegant” hunters on horseback about to kill for sport, contrasted with the sudden appearance of this courageous woman willing to risk her life to save this fox, was mind-boggling to watch. Often the activists will spray oils to mislead the hounds from the scent of the fox, but not in this case.
This unbelievably brave young woman was willing to risk her life, rather than allowing a helpless animal be destroyed for sport. Her dedication is awe-inspiring! Watch the incredible footage below and let us know what you think!

‘Ghost Boy’ Was Trapped In His Body For 12 Years Until She Noticed Something That Would Change Everything!
It’s the thing nightmares are made of; being trapped within your own body and having the ability to think and feel, yet lacking a way to communicate or move. That was Martin Pistorius’s reality for over 12 long years. Martin grew up living a normal life in South Africa.
When he was 12 years old he suddenly began to lose the ability to move on his own and soon afterwards he fell completely into a coma. Doctors couldn’t figure out what exactly was wrong with him, he had no significant brain activity, and they told his parents that he would likely never wake up.
Three years later, Martin’s mind did start to wake up. It came back slowly at first, and by age 19 he says that he was fully aware of everything around him, yet he still could not move. Over the following years Martin was trapped inside of his own body, unable to speak, move, or tell anyone that he was awake and could hear and understand everything going on around him.
He was a silent witness to life and had only his own thoughts to keep him company. At one point he heard his mother say she wished he could find peace and finally die. He had to find a way to deal with the feelings of despair and doom, so he taught himself to disengage his thoughts. He made life bearable by clearing his mind and thinking about nothing, and thus further disappeared into himself.
Finally, a woman who was one of his caregivers, Virna van der Walt, noticed that he would often react to some of the things she said. She told his family and recommended that he be sent for tests at the University of Pretoria’s Centre for Augmentative and Alternative Communication. There it was confirmed that Martin was conscious and aware and they found he could even respond and communicate. He was 25 years old at this point in his life.
With the help of communication software and a renewed sense of life and purpose, Martin began to heal and re-engage his thoughts. He slowly broke free from his confinement and fully integrated himself back into the world and society.
In 2008 he met a woman named Joanna, the two hit it off, and a year later they married. Martin wrote a book about his life and journey, titled Ghost Boy, and has regained limited control of his head and arms in recent years. Life is no longer a living hell for him, and his story is truly inspirational.

THIS Little Girl Tries To Pet The Gorilla. Moments Later The Unexpected Tore My Heart Up!
For the past fifteen years The Aspinall Foundation has been reintroducing captive gorillas back into the wild. The gorillas are brought to the foundation’s million acre reserves in West Africa from England’s Howletts Wild Animal Park. There they are set free back into the wild jungles so they have a chance to live out their lives as nature intended. In the following video conservationist Damien Aspinall, and his daughter Tansy, set out on a trip to Gabon to find two old friends, gorillas Djalta and Bimms.
The Aspinall family had grown up with the young gorillas, and helped raise them back in England, up until they were released back into the wild in 2003. It has been 12 years since Tansy has seen them, and 3 or 4 since Damian last visited, and they’ve traveled half way around the world to find them.
They traveled the easiest way possible, down a river that cut through the jungle for a few hours, calling out for Djalta and Bimms along the way. Suddenly two figures appeared at the edge of the river, looking full grown and healthy as ever, the gorillas had heard Damian’s calls.
At first he was a little apprehensive to approach them, but once they let out deep, rumbling, gurgle sounds, he knew he had nothing to worry about. The “sweet noises” signified the love the gorillas still had for their old friend, even though they were home free in the wild, they hadn’t forgotten the man who helped get them there.
The gorillas and man sat close together, looking into each others eyes, silently sharing a moment and appreciating all that they’d experienced together. One pulled Damian in for a hug and soon after he noticed Djalta looking closely at Tansy.
Feeling that it was safe, Tansy went forward to greet her old friends, who still remembered her after 12 long years apart. The two full grown adult gorillas were incredibly gentle, sweet, and loving towards her. They just wanted to play, be tickled and held, and they didn’t want them to leave.
The next morning when Tansy and David woke up the gorillas were at the edge of the other side of the river, waiting and wanting to visit with them again. The love between the two wild animals and the father and daughter is beyond words or belief. They all truly shared an unbreakable bond, and will hold each other in their hearts forever.

Disgruntled Customer Tries To Return Her Box Of Stale Cupcakes But Keep Your Eyes On The Box!
Owning and running a small independent business can be incredibly rewarding, but owner’s face a tough uphill battle to survive and prosper once they open up shop and throw open the doors. There is a common misconception floating around that posits 9 out of 10 business fail.
However, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics says that number is wrong and instead data shows about 50% of new establishments survive five years or more. Oftentimes owner’s must initially overcome a steep learning curve and, on top of that, unforeseen problems and issues that arise can quickly snowball out of control.
One woman knows these hurdles all too well. Sharon Carter owns and runs Mrs. C’s Cupcakes in Penrith, Australia. In the past year she has experienced a series of setbacks and bad luck. She fell behind on her lease because of unexpected medical costs for treatment of her youngest son’s unknown degenerative disease.
That in itself is extremely stressful, worrisome, and costly, but Sharon has also been battling ovarian cancer herself. As if things couldn’t get any worse, they did, she lost her brother when ha passed away. Sharon’s situation was bleak and yet through it all she kept her business up and running and did her best to make ends meet.
When Jackie O, a radio DJ at KIIs 1065, was told about Sharon’s bad luck she decided to get involved and help her out. She went to Mrs. C’s Cupcakes and bought a box of the sugary treats, then returned 10 minutes later to complain about them. She told Sharon they were stale and tasted off, to which Sharon apologized and sweetly offered to do whatever she could to make her customer happy.
That’s when Jackie O insisted that she try one herself to see how they tasted. Sharon opened the bakery box and instead of looking at a dozen cupcakes, she was staring down at $10,000 cash! Her face immediately lit up with surprise, which turned to happiness and tears of joy, when Jackie O explained that the money was to help her out and that a lot of people were rooting for her.
Now Sharon will hopefully have more time to spend with her family and can catch up on her lease. Plus, the publicity of her story can only lead to a boost in business, which can set her up for long-term success and growth. Her reaction, smile, and genuine appreciation make this story all the more heartwarming, and we wish her the best of luck.
