This Man’s Hen Laid a Massive Egg.
Chickens lay eggs. Sometimes those eggs are hidden inside of other eggs. It happens. What? That all seems kind of weird and confusing, but an egg inside of an egg is a real thing that occurs in nature. If you want to see what it all looks like, and this is the type of thing that you really have to see to truly appreciate, then you have to check out this video.
Now with that being said in the video below a man finds an egg that his hen laid that is twice the size of the rest of the eggs. He decides to gather his family together and crack open the egg to see what’s inside. What came out of the egg is extremely rare and something I never would’ve expected.
The egg is so big that it doesn’t even fit in the carton. I actually feel bad for the hen, it must’ve hurt when it came out. The family can tell there is something special inside this giant egg. At around the :35 second mark he cracks open the egg and the contents are surprising and bizarre. This is what he found. Have you ever seen anything like this before?

6 Years Ago a Sheep Escaped and Grew 60lbs of Wool. They Were Stunned But Wait Til’ You See Him Now!
image via – youtube.com
There once was a Merino sheep named Shrek who lived on a farm in South Island, New Zealand. When he was four years old, he decided to strike out on his own and so he ran away from home. Escaping into the surrounding wilderness, he spent his time happily grazing and exploring the beautiful landscape. To avoid detection he hid in local caves where he knew he’d be safe.
Shrek’s time in the wild came to an end when he was eventually discovered in 2004. To say he had changed a bit would be an understatement. When he left, he had been well groomed with a short fleece coat. When he re-appeared, he was a giant poufy mass of wool. Upon seeing him for the first time after all those years his owner, John Perry, described the elusive sheep as looking like some ancient biblical creature!
While sheep normally get sheared once a year, Shrek hadn’t been sheared in 6 years. Because Merino sheep never shed their fleece like many other types of sheep typically do, it meant Shrek’s coat simply kept on growing. Over the years he was at large he produced a whole lot of wool, so much that it weighed 60 pounds. In fact, the amount of wool he had on him was enough to make 20 large men’s suits.
When he was finally sheared, Shrek looked like a shell of his former self, but in a healthy, good type of way. He could see a whole lot better once it was out of his eyes and he probably felt a lot cooler, not to mention lighter. At the time of his shearing, Shrek had already become a local celebrity in sheep-mad New Zealand. He ended up meeting the prime minister at the time, Helen Clarke, and the countries national television broadcast his amazing transformation for everyone to see. Being a sheep of the people, his fleece was auctioned off with the proceeds going to benefit children’s medical charities.
Shrek’s time in the limelight didn’t end there, he went on to appear in many children’s books and made guest appearances for various charities. Perhaps the highlight of his fame, and the craziest thing he ever experienced, came two years after his initial TV appearance when he was once again sheared on live TV. This time however, he got his haircut while on an iceberg that was floating off the coast of Dunedin, New Zealand!

Farmer Was Drilling a Well To Get Water For His Farm. But What Arose and Emerged From The Land Stunned The Entire World.
image via : youtube.com
It is no secret that farmers have and most likely always will be the backbone of America. The work from the crack of dawn until night for most of the year. Unlike many jobs, there is no clocking out, the job never ends and if you don’t stay on top of the farmwork every single day the repercussions could be devastating.
Most of us take for granted the food in the supermarket, from the fruit/vegetable section to the meat section and we hardly even think twice about all the work that went into making this final product so accessible for us at our local market. Farmers across the world should be celebrated and revered for all their hard work and effort that gives so many of us our nutrition and sustinance.
Many farmers have been working the same land for many generations. A lot of the time they are introduced by their parents or grandparents to the farm life when they are just wee young lads. By the time they are teenagers they know how to work the land from top to bottom and are truly masters of their craft. For many farmers the day to day work can at times become monontonous but every once in a while something will happen on a farm that leaves even the most veteran farmers stunned.
This brings us to today’s incredible story is about a farmer/rancher from the early 20th century who was working his land to try and find water beneath the grounds surface. What started out as just a standard drilling of a well to hydrate his agriculture soon became something that would make headlines worldwide! The farmer and his workers were drilling a well and nothing really seemed out of the ordinary until they got down to a certain point….
All of sudden they knew something wasn’t right because when they took the temperature of the water below the ground they had just drilled, the thermometer read 200 degrees! The farmers were stunned and completely confused at first because they had never heard of or seen anything like this before.
They decided to stop and try to drill the well somewhere else cause obviously this wasn’t going to work in this particular spot on the land. Many years went by and in 1964 a second try was attempted but the same thing happened… When they got to a certain level underground the water temperature again was at 200 degrees!
Unlike the first attempt where they covered the well up perfectly, the second time they didn’t properly cover it back up. The result ended up being something nobody ever could’ve imagined! This led to a high water pressure system filled with minerals and gas that if left undisturbed will just keep growing higher and higher out of the ground.
Inevitably a geyser forms with a water system around it with it’s very own ecosystem with unique animals and plants. When the mineral/gas filled high temperature water geysers hit the earth’s normal atmosphere filled with oxygen and carbon it causes the structure to have incredibly beautiful and astonishing colors that you wouldn’t believe unless you saw this amazing sight for yourself.

If You Love Snacking On Baby Carrots You Should Stop Right Now. The Reason Is Nasty.
Baby carrots may be ultra convenient and fun to snack on, but they’re not exactly the healthiest option when it comes to getting the recommended daily serving of vegetables. The little sweet and innocent sounding carrots can be found just about everywhere these days, from grocery store produce sections to school lunch trays, yet prior to the late 1980’s they were completely unheard of. That’s because they had yet to be invented.
The story behind the ‘birth’ of baby carrots sheds a whole new light on the bright orange, peeled and ready to eat veggies. A farmer in California named Mike Yurosek was sick of throwing out all the ugly misshapen carrots he’d spent so much time and effort growing. Back then, and as they do now, grocery stores rejected any carrots that didn’t meet specific color, shape, and size standards because consumers only buy what they see as the ideal or perfect fruits and vegetables.
The accompanying video goes over this industry practice and how much waste it incurs, as well as the emerging drive to re-direct “ugly” food to those who need it most. Back to the story- rather than lose money and see his crops go to waste, Mr. Yurosek tried a new approach and he turned his ugly carrots into little baby ones by re-shaping and peeling them into uniform pieces. Stores loved them, consumers loved them, and the rest is history.
However, in those early days baby carrots were peeled and whittled down in much smaller batches which allowed for a lot more quality control and oversight. Today millions of pounds of rejected carrots are processed every week in an entirely automated process meant to be cost-effective and fast to keep them cheap as can be.
Carrots are fed into a machine, their protective skin is removed, then they are cut and re-shaped before being soaked in a chlorine bath. This final part is necessary because the baby cut pieces contain a lot of germs and bacteria on them after going through the machinery. Who wants to feed their children or ingest food that’s supposedly fresh, yet it has been chemically treated and bathed in chlorine? Not me!
Instead you can simply buy normal carrots rather than baby cut ones without having to sacrifice the flavor and crunch that makes carrots delicious in the first place. Regular carrots are often cheaper, they last longer and won’t turn white, and most importantly they don’t need to be treated with chlorine because they never get processed through a machine.
So the next time you’re are the supermarket pick up a bunch of regular carrots instead of the pre-packaged baby ones. It’s the safest, smartest, and healthiest choice you can make for both yourself and your family.

Ram Confronts Puppy Sheep Dog On His First Day On The Job. Now Watch The Pups Funny Response.

When you live on a farm there is always work to be done. When you happen to be a little Border Collie puppy, that likely means you’ll soon be herding farm animals. The extremely intelligent breed is world renowned for their hard work ethic and natural herding abilities, and once you see this little one in action, you’ll understand why!
The adorable black and white puppy’s name is Ciara and the video captured here is of her first time ever herding sheep. The seven week old youngster was brought outside to a grassy green field where four full grown adult sheep were grazing. Her owner, Daire Bryne, wanted to make sure that Ciara had what it takes to keep a rowdy flock of sheep in order and let’s just say that she takes to it like a duck takes to water.
As soon as Ciara laid eyes on the sheep her instincts kicked right in and she was off chasing after them. It might have been her first time but it looks like she’s been doing this her whole life. The way that she enthusiastically runs around, steering the sheep and keeping them tightly packed together, shows just how much of a natural she is at it.
Not only that, she’s also quite courageous. Compared to these full grown sheep Ciara’s really just a tiny baby. The fact that she runs right up to them proves how brave and confident she is. At one point one of the sheep, a large ram who is likely about 20x her size, decides to try and stand his ground. He lowers his head down at her and for a moment it looks like he might charge, but instead he turns around and runs off with the others.
If you love puppies and like to smile then be sure to check out this adorable fifth generation Border Collie puppy in action because she’s just too cute!

Terrible Guy Throws His Garbage All Over Farmer’s Land. Farmer Finds Something In The Trash and Gets Epic Revenge!
image via – youtube.com
In America illegal dumping is a major concern in many parts of the country. It is when people dump trash and waste illegally in places where it does not belong, such as at parks, on the side of the road, or even on other people’s private property. It’s basically littering on a much larger and more egregious scale. Whereas tossing a wrapper on the ground is littering, tossing eight large bags filled with trash off the back of a pickup truck is considered dumping.
For the most part, it is oftentimes construction materials, larger furniture, appliances, and car parts that get dumped. The people doing the illegal disposal usually do it late at night under the cover of dark and they tend to choose rural areas and roads with low traffic in order to minimize the likelihood of getting caught.
However, there are some people who are not so bright and who think that they are above the law. They dump their junk wherever they please, like the person who chose a California farm to throw their trash all over. When the farmer who owned that farm saw the pile of trash bags and waste discarded in his field, he was naturally angry and upset. Now he had to take time out of his busy day to clean up some jerk’s mess.
As the farmer was picking up the trash, he noticed that there was an envelope that had fallen out of a bag. It was torn up and dirty, but the address printed on it was clear and legible. Now he knew exactly who had thrown their junk on his property and where they lived. That’s when he got the perfect revenge idea and decided to exact some well-deserved payback on the illegal dumper!
The farmer loaded every last piece of trash onto his truck and set off towards the dumper’s home address. It was surprisingly far away, which he found strange because who drives out of their way to throw out trash when they can essentially do it practically anywhere, especially closer to home. Once he found the suspect’s house, he tossed all the trash on their driveway, took a picture, and drove off with a smile on his face (probably).
The person who had chosen his farm to toss their garbage onto was in for a rude awakening when they returned home that day. The farmer got the last laugh this time around and it’s safe to assume that the culprit will never use his farm to dump their junk on ever again!
