This Kitty Was Just Hanging Out On His Porch When This Flew In. But Seconds Later WOW!

Animal odd couples are constantly popping up and surprising us humans. Oftentimes, the quirky pairings are composed of two completely different animals who would naturally never meet in mother nature. We have seen cheetahs and chipmunks that have bonded with dogs, a lion, tiger, and bear are all best of friends, and countless other strange combinations of animals.
Some are natural enemies, in the wild they would likely clash and be strongly opposed to one another, maybe they’d even try to kill each other. However, as the animal odd couples around the world have shown us time and again, animals are unpredictable and not all of them fit their species stereotypes.
Take for example the eagles in this video, which was uploaded to YouTube by user Pam Aus. In the clip her black and white coated cat named Gizmo is chilling right outside her house on the porch railing. Keeping the kitty company is a pair of large wild eagles, one of which seems very interested in his new found feline friend.
When the cat tries to get some space, moving away further down the railing, the curious eagle follows. Soon after, the eagle tries to get a better look and pokes his head in closer towards Gizmo’s adorable face. The kitty does not like that and she lets the space invading eagle know this by firing off a warning meow.
That does the trick and the suddenly bashful eagle backs off a bit, he clearly doesn’t want to scare Gizmo off or make her mad. The amazing footage was fittingly captured near Dutch Harbor in the Unalaska area, which is located amid the Aleutian Island chains off the coast of Alaska.
That location places it in one of the wildest places left in both the United States and the world. The islands there are home to a large population of eagles since their main food source, fish, is plentiful. If you’re worried that the eagle may have been trying to make a meal out of Gizmo, don’t be.
The eagles in Alaska are used to the human presence and often come in close, landing and resting near people, pets, and wild animals. According to Gizmo’s owner, in the eight years that she’s had cats there has never once been a problem between them and any eagles.
While the large birds of prey could, if they wanted to, make a meal out of a cat, they have no need or desire to so and instead of acting aggressively they are friendly and non-threatening. Be sure to check out the wildly unbelievable footage and see for yourself how well behaved and gentle the eagle acted.

This Cat Walks Up To The Water Real Slow. But His Next Move Causes Everyone To Start Laughing!
image via – youtube.com
When you go fishing it can be really hit or miss. Sometimes the fish are biting and take the bait right off the bat, but that’s very rare. Most of the time you can expect to spend hours waiting to catch one and even then nothing may come of it. You have to have patience, if you lack it all of the special lures, tackle, and bait mean nothing.
It also helps to have a natural instinct for knowing where to fish. One little kitty proved that he had both patience and a killer instinct when he was captured on film scouting out fish by bystanders. While the exact location where the footage was shot is unknown, the skinny gray and white cat in it was described by the user who uploaded it, MrTheoktay, as being a “street cat.”
The little cat can be seen on some rocks at the water’s edge watching the fish just beyond reach attentively. The cat’s focus is unwavering as he stalks his unsuspecting prey, and if he truly is a street cat then catching one is vital to his survival because who knows when or where he’ll get his next meal from.
There are several points in the video where it looks as if the cat is about to go for a fish, but when he actually does make his move it’s lightning quick and deadly accurate. Like an expert, he gets it on the first try and barely even gets his paws wet. When he turns and walks away from the water there’s a sizable fish grasped firmly in his mouth, mission accomplished!
The crowd gathered beyond the camera’s view who were watching the kitty erupted in laughter and a few expressed shock and disbelief at the unexpected sight. They now all have one heck of a fishing tale to tell their friends and families. While the sight of a cat fishing may be uncommon, cats are natural born fish catchers and everyone knows the fondness they feel for seafood flavored treats.
When a cat fishes it will usually tap the water’s surface lightly with a paw, mimicking the movement and look of a bug. Fish go up to investigate and that creates the perfect opportunity to strike out and grab one. It’s just another clever, smart thing that cats do naturally and instinctively.

She Is Doing Yoga When An Unexpected Visitor Shows Up. When He Shows Up I Can’t Stop Laughing!
image via – youtube.com
Cats are naturals at yoga. They can flex and contort their furry little bodies into the craziest positions without even thinking about it and while purring in delight. It seems like every time one switches positions or gets up from a nap they have to yawn and do a big stretch, before flopping back over into another yoga-like pose to resume their sleep.
It often seems like kitties bodies were built for stretching and that’s why they are among the top performers of yoga on the planet. Humans have a lot of catching up to do if they want to be able to keep up with fluffy in the yoga department. One woman was doing just that and decided to film herself practicing her technique.
She laid down her mat, positioned the camera directly at it, and got straight to work. Her first pose was a headstand and she can be seen slowly toe climbing her way into an arch and bringing her feet up over head until they’re extended straight above her. Right as the woman is beginning to arch her spine more and extend her legs further back, we lose sight of her.
That’s because a big, orange, cat makes himself comfortable right in front of the camera lens! His adorable face is priceless and his expression says it all. He is clearly unimpressed by his lady friend’s yoga skills, no matter how well balanced she may be. The kitty looks bored with the whole scene and slowly closes his eyes as he prepares for his nap.
The orange cat clearly wanted some camera time and must know that he is the one with real star power, because the internet is loving his video appearance. Perhaps this woman should bring her feline friend to a cat yoga class. Some studios offer classes where humans and cats can get their stretch on.
There are even specific poses and maneuvers that have been specially developed for cats. Instead of tripping over the poor cat while switching poses you can instead incorporate kitty into a session, and you will both be happier and healthier from it. After all, a yogi kitty can teach us mere mortals a lot about stretching, so why not partner up with your cat!

VIDEO: This Newborn Pitbull Puppy Was About To Die. But What This Cat Does Unbelievable!
image via – youtube.com
When an animal control officer in Cleveland, Ohio received a call about possible animal neglect she headed out to investigate. Upon arrival at the scene she found a tiny one day old puppy alone in a garage. The poor baby animal was covered in flys and had likely been abandoned since its mother was nowhere to be found.
Knowing its life was in jeopardy, the humane officer rushed the black and white pit bull mix puppy to a nearby animal shelter, the Cleveland Animal Protective League. The shelter workers and volunteers quickly put together an animal care team and immediately cleaned the weak puppy up before giving him a name, Noland.
To survive, Noland was going to need constant around the clock care and a mother’s love and attention would be the best thing for him. In light of that, the team at the shelter decided to try something different and place him with a young cat who had just given birth. The placement was going to be a long shot and it would either work well or not at all.
The cat, Lurlene, had arrived at the shelter as a pregnant stray and had given birth to a litter of four kittens just two days prior to the discovery of Noland. When Noland was placed with Lurlene and her kittens, the mama cat immediately welcomed the new fur baby into her family as one of her own.
She licked and cleaned him up and allowed him to nurse, and never once did she try to reject him or turn him away. All four of her babies also accepted Noland and snuggled up with the new addition as if he were a fellow kitten. He was also bottle fed additional formula and food, since his needs were different than the kittens, and in the end he survived and thrived under the care of Lurlene and volunteers.
It turned out that Noland’s mother had also been located. The humane officer investigating went back later that same day and found her chained up behind a home. Her name was Molly and she had been badly abused by her owner to the point that she was too emaciated and scared to properly take care of her puppy.
So Noland stayed with Lurlene until he was old enough for adoption, but was eventually reunited with his mother for play sessions at the shelter. Molly’s owner was convicted of animal neglect and no animals were returned to them.
This story does have a happy ending. Molly, Noland, Lurlene and all of her kittens were eventually adopted to properly vetted owners and taken from the shelter to their new forever homes.

This Infant Was Left For Dead In A Cold Russian Winter. But When THIS Showed Up He Was Saved!
With all the avenues left for people, who for whatever reasons feel that they can’t take care of their baby, it is just so astounding and heartbreaking to hear about babies being abandoned to literally die. In the middle of Russia, on a bitter cold winter night, a baby boy was just left outside.
He, indeed, would have died had it not been for an unexpected savior who kept the poor little thing warm until humans could come to get him to safety. A stray tabby cat named Masha, had been tended to by a local resident, Irena Lavrova for months. Irena could hear Masha meowing in a most uncharacteristic way, for the calm and friendly tabby. She was so loud, that Irena went to check to see if the cat was hurt.
Irena came upon a sight that was at once heartwarming and heartbreaking!! She found Masha in a box with the abandoned baby. This guardian angel had thankfully kept the baby warm for hours with her body heat; she was literally holding the child! Irina said, “Clearly her motherly instincts had taken over and she wanted to protect the child.”
According to local residents who waited for the baby to be picked up by an ambulance, Masha had become so bonded with the child that she attempted to jump into the ambulance to accompany him. As the ambulance drove off, she sat by the curb looking longingly after the vehicle.
Thanks to Masha’s wonderful instincts, the baby was found to be perfectly healthy, after being examined. Masha has become the neighborhood “mascot”; she is fed and treated like royalty by the entire neighborhood. Enjoy the video below which tells this story of heroism that is truly inspirational. Hopefully the baby will be placed with a family that will give him a good life.

He Spent The Entire Day Making a Kitty Door. Now Watch The Cats First Attempt To Get Through It.
image via – facebook
It’s a well-known fact that cats are hard to please. They can be quite finicky at times, especially when they come across something new. They often have to sniff out and inspect everything that catches their eye and quickly make up their minds in regards to whether they accept or reject whatever it is they’re scoping out…
This picky and choosiness has left countless feline owners frustrated and more than just a little bit exasperated! Lots of cat lovers have gone to extreme lengths in all but vain attempts to please and accommodate their fur babies. In the end it never really matters what you may assume or think they’d enjoy, it ultimately comes down to what kitty decides!
One man lost sight of this feline quirk and his cat named Philo reminded him of it in such a way that only a cute little kitty can! Brian had picked up a cat door at the store in the hopes that his little buddy’s life would be made easier and happier from it. Philo absolutely loves to go outdoors and roam around so one would think the easy access to the outside and having his own door would be something he’d welcome. So his owner purchased a cat flap and set about installing it.
After gathering all his tools, and cutting a hole in his door to properly install it, Brian was finally done a couple hours later. He was excited about the new pet flap and made sure to grab both his camera and the cat so that he could capture Philo’s reaction upon seeing it for the first time. As Philo makes his way towards the new opening Brian enthusiastically urges him to try it out.
As the cat nears the door he barely even glances at the new flap. You’d think he’d at least check it out and sniff around or paw at it but he he doesn’t, it’s like he could care less about the darn thing! Instead, Philo decides to use the actual door rather than his new cat door. The clever kitty stands up and balances on his hind legs then uses his front paws to pull down on the handle and crack open the door. Seconds later he’s inside the house, leaving Brian behind wearing what’s most likely a look of disbelief on his face!
It appears that Philo never even needed his own door to begin with because he already knows how to open the actual door all by himself! Brian made the all too common mistake that cat owners are prone to, he failed to properly anticipate whether or not his cat would actually like or use the cat door. The only thing that makes all his hard work and the time and money he spent on the cat flap worth it is that if the door is ever locked, Philo can use his new cat door.
In the end, some cats are simply hard to impress. Note: If Video Doesn’t Play On Mobile Device, Tablet or iPad Turn Device Horizontal.
