If You Notice A $100 Bill On Your Windshield. This Is What It Means!
With all the good cheer around during the holiday season, it might be reasonable to believe that you would receive a random act of kindness. Thats what Kyri Viehman thought, as she was driving home from doing some Christmas shopping with her mom.
From St. Louis, MO, Kyri noticed something flapping on the passenger side of her windshield, which she at first thought was a flyer for something. When she looked again she saw that it was $100 bill that was tucked under her wipers. Later she wrote on Facebook:
“Being a dedicated listener to the Bobby Bones Show, I thought someone was #pimpinjoy for this single mom wrestling with a crabby toddler around the holidays,” she wrote on Facebook. “That’s where my naivety came into play. I pulled over to the side of the road to retrieve this miracle money that came into my life at the perfect time.
The bill was placed under the wipers where you had to get out of your car, walk around front, and grab it (you could not just roll down your window). I opened the bill, and it read something similar to ‘Ha you thought this was real didn’t you?”
This is a cautionary tale for all of us, who are out shopping this season, or really any time! After doing some research on the internet, Kyri learned that she had, indeed, “dodged a bullet”! This is a common carjacker scam used to get the driver out of the car before driving away.
The fake $100 bill is placed on the passenger side in order to get the driver on the other side of the car, so that the carjacker can get in the driver’s seat of the car that most probably has the keys in the ignition at this point! Not only do the thieves get the car but the gifts that are in it. In Kyri’s case her toddler was locked in his carseat in the back!
This is extremely frightening and dangerous.

If You Notice A Thin Blue Line Painted On The Curb In Front Of Your House. It Means THIS
The “Thin Blue Line” is a concept that reflects a conservative point of view concerning police culture. It is reflective of the worldview held by the police, that when they put on their blue uniform, it represents law and order. That ‘thin blue line’, they say, is what stands between a society that abides by the rules, and anarchy.
The thin line has grown thinner for police across the United States as “bad cops” have gone too far over that line, committing crimes themselves in the line of duty. The majority of the police force across the country, put themselves in harms way, as they protect citizens from the mayhem that exists in a world that has grown more violent every day.
The sheer magnitude of what they face, particularly in the big cities, is overwhelming. When the few bad cops, unfortunate circumstances, or prejudice officers result in the harm or deaths of innocent citizens, that thin blue line gets thinner and thinner. These incidents in our society have been coming to the fore and have resulted in a backlash against the police.
Although some of this is warranted, it has increasingly made it more and more dangerous for good cops to do their job. One citizen, a small business owner Anthony Welichko, saw the public tide turning against the police, and he wanted to do something that would show support for the cops who do a good job, and who have become increasingly afraid for their own lives.
He began an initiative after posting a message to law enforcement on his Facebook page. He has called the movement “The Safe Harbor Initiative”. His post has been shared more than 85,000 times by folks who support what he is saying.
The following video shows him expressing his feelings about the police. He explains that when they see a thin blue line painted on a curb in front of people’s homes (part of his initiative), it is a symbol of support and gratitude for the work they do. “To all the police out there doing their jobs to keep us safe every day. We thank you.”
His heartfelt expression and explanation of his initiative should be watched in the video below. It is food for thought in a world in which too often we see things in black and white, and don’t consider the shades of gray that truly represent the work of “The Thin Blue Line”.

If You See This Black Line On Your Nail Or Someone Else’s THIS Is What It Means!
We have all been taught that any changes in a freckle or mole, with respect to color, size or shape, should be checked out immediately. A dermatologist will know whether the changes are suspicious looking, and require a biopsy. Waiting to have such changes checked by a professional, leaves you open to the possibility of a skin cancer going undetected and becoming potentially life-threatening.
Most people, however, are unaware of the warning signs of cancerous tissue under the fingernails. Melanomas in the fingernail area is more common amongst African Americans, but is possible in every demographic of the population.
What are the warning signs to look for? The following video will go into greater detail about these potentially deadly masses. The typical manifestation of such a cancer appears as a black stripe in the nail. Although such a streak may not be cancerous, it should be checked by a dermatologist, particularly if it gets larger or darker.
If cancerous cells are found early enough, a removal of the nail and the cancerous tissue underneath may be sufficient. Waiting too long may result in amputation of the tip of one’s finger. The worse case scenario, as with any unchecked cancer cells, is that it metastasizes to other organs, which can result in deadly consequences.
In the following footage, Dr. Dana Stern who specializes in cancer of the nails, discusses what to look out for in more depth. She says that the nail matrix is affected by this type of cancer. I found this video to be most informative in understanding what to look out for, when it comes to nail health.

She Drives By A Dog Chained Outside In Extreme Weather. Then She Writes THIS And Changes Everything
We see stories of terrible inhumane treatment of animals every day on the internet. We shed a tear, agree on how terrible it is, and praise those who do something to rescue abused animals. There is something we can all do, as Bluegrass singer and song writer Donna Hughes has highlighted in her heart wrenching song, “One Less Dog In the Cold”.
She was inspired by all the dogs she passed chained outside for much of their lives, regardless of how freezing or broiling the weather. Her haunting lyrics and melody which you will hear in the video below, should be an anthem for animal rescue.
Her lyrics speak of remorse for having passed these dogs so many times, and has written this song to raise awareness to “HELP UNCHAIN DOGS TODAY…DON’T LOOK THE OTHER WAY”. ‘Every dog is a window to your soul’ and it can be said that in ignoring these tortured animals, we lose a little bit of our souls. This is a song that we leave you with deep feelings.
I found myself needing to listen to it several times.

If You Notice A Person With A Black Dot On The Palm Of Their Hands It Means THIS!
The black dot campaign was started with the hope of drawing some much needed attention to victims of domestic violence. The whole campaign revolves around the act of drawing a black dot on the palm of ones hand, which signifies that the individual is a victim of domestic violence and wants or needs help.
Any bystander who happens to spot the dot can then try to help or assist them. All too often victims of domestic violence suffer in silence and the idea behind the dot was that it gave them a way to reach out for help, while minimizing the risks for further violence and danger.
The campaign has been met with a mixed response of both praise and criticism. However, in the overall scheme of things, the idea is a good one. Any attention brought about or light shed on the plight of victims is a step in the right direction.
When it comes to the issue of domestic violence the statistics are grim. According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV), one in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have been the victim of some form of physical violence by a partner in their lifetime. In the US alone every nine seconds a woman is beaten or assaulted, an average of 20 people per minute are physically abused by a partner, and every year that adds up to more than 10 million men and women being abused.
Oftentimes it is incredibly hard for victims to break the cycle of violence. That is because their abusers tend to watch their every move, making reaching out for help nearly impossible. Abusers also exert various forms of control over victims that are beyond physical, and often use mental, emotional, and financial forms of it to gain and maintain control.
When it comes to speaking up, many victims struggle to find their voice and be heard. Which is why the black dot campaign exists in the first place. Victims need all the help and support they can get, and people need to be more aware of their silent plight.
Organizers behind the campaign say that within 24 hours of its launch 6,000 people were reached and 6 women were helped. It has gone on to reach many millions more people and help countless other men, women, and in effect, children as well. If you ever see a person who has a black dot drawn on the palm of their hand, call the police immediately, because it’s a silent signal for help and that person is saying they are in trouble.
**Word of caution- Much of the criticism surrounding the black dot campaign stems from the fact that people are drawing the dots on their palms when they are not in any real, immediate danger. Many survivors of domestic violence have drawn on dots and uploaded pictures to share on social media as a way of showing their support and solidarity.
However, this is missing the original point of the idea and instead of drawing a dot supporters should instead write “Say no to domestic violence” on their hands to avoid confusion.

This Woman Refused To Sit Next To This Guy. When He Realizes Why He Was Blown Away!
The days of segregation in the deep South are gone, we elected our first Black President of the United States, apartheid was eradicated in South Africa…we have certainly come a long way in the last 60 years. Overt racism has certainly shrunk, but have our attitudes really changed covertly?
Many people throughout the world still harbor racist thinking which they pass on to their children. Jokes that are told at the expense of an ethnic group that isn’t yours, can be quite cruel, and can perpetuate stereotypes. Something as unseen as crossing the street to not be near someone of another color, is very telling of the racism that still exists.
BeyondBlue produced the video you are about to watch, as part of their mission to fight discrimination and the terrible hurt and divisiveness it causes across cultures. The way that it was directed and written is very powerful, as it touches on the more subtle manifestations of racism, and the terrible damage that it does to those who are victimized.
