This Is How You Can Save Your Dog’s Life Using The Heimlich. I’m Glad I Learned THIS!
Dogs are big chewers, and they often don’t differentiate between bones, sticks, toys, shoes and stones. If an object fits in it’s mouth, dogs explore it by chewing. Problems arise if the object or part of an object is small and gets lodged in it’s airway causing choking.
Just like humans, dogs will panic when choking, which can lead to suffocation. You will know your dog is choking if it starts gasping, coughing harshly, wheezing, bringing it’s paw to it’s mouth or if you see it’s eyes bulging.
You should always give the dog the time to clear it’s own airway of the object for a few seconds, before checking it’s mouth. This is preferable because when you go into your dog’s mouth there is always the danger of inadvertently pushing the object further down the throat, damaging tissue and getting bitten yourself.
The video you are about to watch below, does a great job of taking you through the steps of helping choking dogs of different sizes. Should removing the object from the dog’s mouth fail, the next step would be TILTING the animal (method is differentiated for small and large dogs), and the final method if all else fails is the HEIMLICH MANEUVER.
The tutorial shows the method of performing this maneuver for small dogs vs medium and large dogs. Being shown the right amount of force to apply, prior to ever possibly having to using the Heimlich, is a prudent idea. Because dog’s ribs are more flexible than a human’s, the thrusting motion of the Heimlich maneuver can potentially cause lung flailing which won’t allow the object to be expelled.
Additionally, applying the right amount of force is key, because too much pressure can cause internal damage to the dog’s organs. You will find the following footage extremely helpful in illustrating proper procedures.

Dad Slices Open A Wasps Nest In Front of Them. What He Reveals Inside Is So Awesome!
There is something so mysterious and intriguing about what lies inside of things that we are usually not privy to. Dan and his son Lincoln have created a YouTube Channel named, “What’s Inside”, where they open up all kinds of things together to discover what lies inside. In the video you are about to watch below, we join them in discovering what lurks inside of a WASP’S NEST!
Obviously they were not going to go near a live nest, so they ordered one that was no longer inhabited, from eBay. I find it so admirable that Dan has been sharing his curiosity with Lincoln, in exploring such fascinating things, by doing these in home “science projects”. There is nothing better that a parent can model and offer a child, than the fostering of intrinsic curiosity about the world in general, and more specifically in the workings of nature.
After unpacking the wasp’s nest, you will see Dan begin the process of cutting open the nest, as Lincoln and his friend seem to be having a mixture of anticipatory excitement and a bit of squeamish fear. I myself, watched with baited breath, as the cutting open of the nest proceeded. Lincoln is a little bit afraid that there still might be a live hornet inside, despite the fact that they have been assured there is not.
When the cutting process is finished their gasps of amazement at the intricacy of the internal structure, matched my own. Nature is just so fascinating, and the building capacity of the insect kingdom, is truly mind-boggling to view. Get ready for some really amazing footage!

Strange Animal Seen Creeping Around Woman’s Backyard and The Species Has Finally Been Determined
If you spotted this strange, mutant looking creature in your backyard would you scream and run away or take a picture of it? The woman who found the creepy, snake-like, two-headed thingy had both of those reactions and she even called her friends over to take a look at it. Naturally she wanted to know what the heck it was she was dealing with because you don’t see something like this everyday..
Lujan Eroles filmed the odd little creature in her Santa Fe, Argentina driveway and when she was still unsure as to what exactly it was, she posted it social media. According to Lujan, she and her friends “all thought it was a mutant animal, which is why we filmed it and put it online for people to give us their opinions.” The post has since gone viral and the answer as to what the creature is has been narrowed down to two possible answers, neither of which include any mutants!
The main explanation that people seem to agree on is that it’s either one of two caterpillars which are native to where Lujan lives in Argentina. The first one is what’s known scientifically as Eumorpha labruscae which is also more commonly called a gaudy sphinx. When in the larval stage the caterpillars look like mini-snake heads, as you can see in the picture, and after they pupate they transform into moths as adults.
The second possibility is that the caterpillar is a different type of moth, Deilephila elpenor, aka an elephant hawk-moth. These moths also display a snake-like appearance as a means to ward off predators, mainly birds, and to keep from being eaten. The color patterns and placement resemble serpent scales, while the black patches give it eyes on both ends. The creepy look is all part of the little caterpillar’s first line of defense and without it they’d be plucked up by a hungry bird!
Regardless of whatever species caterpillar this snake-worm insect creature belongs to, it’s ugly and creepy up close and it’s not anything I’d want crawling on me. Make sure you check it out and weigh in with your opinion as to what type of caterpillar you think it is!

Mama Confronts Her Dogs About The Poop In The Kitchen. The Pup Points And Rats Out The Guilty Party.
Many of our four-legged canine friends have bathroom manners that are slightly lacking in certain areas. Sometimes they get excited and pee all over the floor, other times they just have to go and can’t help but make a mess. There are times in life when you just can’t hold it in any longer, and when you gotta go, you gotta go! That seems to be the case for the little dog in this video.
The poor guy just couldn’t help himself and ended up going potty in the house while his owners were out and about. When they returned they noticed the stinky mess and decided to ask their two dogs who did it. So to find out who did it, mama begins an ‘intensive investigation’ to see which one of these 2 adorable fur babies is the guilty party.
While dogs may be known as man’s best friend and loyal to the end, this doesn’t appear to ring true when it comes to doggy friendships. The bigger of the two dogs knew what was being asked of him and ended up ratting out his guilty friend right away! All he had to do was raise a paw up and point it at the smaller dog, bringing the investigation to a quick end.
The guilty party didn’t try to deny it or shift the blame like most people would attempt to do when accused of such a crime. Instead, he played it cool and just sat there looking as cute and adorable as he possibly could. How could anyone be mad at that face for more than just a second, if you’re a dog lover, you just can’t!

Mama Asks Her Dog To Make His Happy Face. He Proceeds To Make The Most Hysterical Face Ever.
A relaxed and smiling dog is a happy and content dog, at least that’s the viewpoint most people have in regards to their pets upturned facial expressions. While that could very well be the case for many animals, when it comes to dogs a smile is not as simple and straight-forward as we often assume it to be.
Dogs have their own special way of showing happiness that doesn’t always include smiling with their mouths. Instead, many dogs express emotions of joy and contentment through their overall body language. When a dog appears completely loose and at ease, with their mouth parted and tongue hanging slightly out, then they are well and truly happy.
In regards to a human looking smile on a dog’s face that could be an indication of a number of things that include anxiety, aggression, subordination, nervousness, or even fear. It differs from dog to dog and the key to deciphering whether or not it’s a genuine smile lies in both the context of the situation and the at rest of their body language.
In the case of the dog featured in this video, his smile is as real as can be! The handsome yellow lab knows how to turn the charm on and gives the camera his best goofy-looking grin, all on command. When his mom tells him to smile he instantly raises the corners of his mouth, it’s so darn cute! As you can see, his body language tells us that he’s relaxed as can be. In fact, he’s so relaxed that he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep. And while his tongue doesn’t loll out of his mouth, it likely would have, had he been fully awake and alert.
This is one intelligent and adorable dog, be sure to check out his awesome smile and pass it on because it’ll instantly brighten anyone’s day!

Every Night Daddy Puts On The River Dance Music. The Parrot Proceeds To Do The Most Hysterical Moves.
With a name like ‘Lovebird,’ you have to be happy, upbeat, and fun loving! That’s exactly how this beautifully vibrant blue and white feathered lovebird acts when he hears his favorite music. The energetic little parrot has some seriously sweet and awesome dance moves and knows how to boogie on down! The adorable bird seems to really enjoy the fast Irish tune that’s playing and he knows exactly how to dance to the music. He hops up and down while tapping his tiny feet along to the beat, just like how an Irish step dancer moves!
Some of his moves are quite impressive and his Irish jig is seriously on point. He may even dance better than some of the professional River Dancers because he’s doing it all on his own with no training or direction! Check out the way he kicks and moves his feet, it’s awesome to see what a naturally talented and sprightly bird he is.
Lovebirds got their name from the fact that they form monogamous relationships and stay with the same mate for their entire adult life. Even if that were not the case they’d probably still be called lovebirds just the same because of their naturally warm, friendly, affectionate, and caring nature.
Once the small colorful parrots find a lover they spend most of their time sitting right alongside them. They strengthen their bond with their mate by preening and feeding one another and basically doing all of the adorable, sweet types of things that any loved up couple would do.
The clever, intelligent, brightly feathered little birds have long been a much loved favorite of people and bird enthusiasts all over the world. Many keep bonded pairs as pets and if they are treated right and well-taken care of, they can even end up forming super-close bonds with their human counterparts.
It’s easy to tell when a lovebird really and truly likes you because they will cuddle and nestle closely, and sometimes even preen you. Be sure to check out this one’s dance routine to see just how awesome and fun loving they can be!
